Revenge: Scoop on the possibility of an upcoming death on the show from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Revenge from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 10/21/14.

Reenie: On my agenda: Revenge scoop from you!
Well played, but don't you mean your "revengenda?" Sorry, couldn't resist. But feel free to pencil in a funeral soon as death is coming to the Hamptons…again! "There probably is going to be a death this season," Josh Bowman told us. "There should be." And when asked if Daniel could be the one to bite the dust, Bowman answered, "Let's hope not!"

Here's some scoop on Revenge from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 6/3/14.

Shawn: Josh Bowman has said that he wants off of Revenge, so can we expect to see Daniel in danger next season?
Nope! In fact, showrunner Sunil Nayar told us the show has never even "considered" offing Daniel. "We never talked about it," he said. "I think when Josh was saying those things, it was in the middle of those episodes where he shot Emily and he didn't really know which was his character was going to go, even though we talked about it." What we can expect for Daniel in season four? "I just think he's so layered and interesting and certainly we want to keep making him a little bit on the evil side, but I think there's a lot to be examined in Daniel's journey," Nayar teased. "He's going to lose a father, just like Emily did years ago, and that's going to hit him in ways that will be surprising and unexpected. So we are never considered losing Josh and I am thrilled that he is staying on the show." And there you have it!

Revenge: Scoop on Daniel's possible death from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Revenge from Kristin Dos Santos' new Daily Spoiler Chat for Monday 2/6/12.

Laura in Knoxville, Tenn.: Revenge! Please tell me that Daniel's not the one dead on the beach!
OK, people, so we've heard some things that have us sick with worry that the big death will be Josh Bowman (sob!), aka Daniel. We ran into Josh over Super Bowl weekend and begged him to put our fears to bed, but...he could not. "I think viewers will be very pleased with how its shot," he tells us. "It's going to be good. We're all one big happy family, so it'll be sad [to lose someone]." So if it is him, would he want to come back as a ghost? "Oh, f--k yeah!" Better yet? Don't die!

My thoughts: I'm starting to think that either Daniel isn't going to die and that it will end up just being an attempted murder if he's indeed the person who gets shot on the beach. If Daniel does end up dying, then at least I'll end up caring about his death since the writers have thoroughly developed the character. Daniel has definitely been a bit of an ass lately, but I still like him. Also, if the writers are going to kill Daniel off the show, I'm glad that they are waiting until episode 15 titled "Chaos" to do that. One mistake that I think the writers of Once Upon A Time have made with the show is killing Sheriff Graham off the show so early on in the season. I thought it was way too soon to kill him off or any character for that matter, because I feel like the viewers weren't given the chance to truly care about Graham and have his death really have a big impact on the show. For me personally, killing Graham off so early made me have an out of sight out of mind reaction to his death. I really think the writers should have waited a lot longer to kill him off.
