Navid (Michael Steger) uses Liam’s (Matt Lanter) celebrity status to help him get into an elite secret society and Annie (Shenae Grimes) rushes to tell Riley (guest star Riley Smith) her true feelings before he undergoes an experimental surgery. Tristan Wilds and Jessica Lowndes also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Liz Sczudlo (#512).

Ausiello: He won’t be a regular but he will be what we call in the biz “strong recurring” — which is sort of like being a regular but with less commitment and (presumably) moolah.

Question: Please give me some scoop on the fate of Dixon on 90210. I’m still in shock! —Sue-Ellen

90210 Scoop: Max Returns—But There’s a Twist!-TVLine

According to TVLine's Megan Masters, Josh Zuckerman will be reprising the role of Naomi's ex-boyfriend Max in several episodes of 90210 at the end of this season. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Zuckerman's return to the show:



TVLine has learned that Josh Zuckerman will return to the CW soap (airing Tuesdays at 8/7c) for multiple episodes this May, reprising his role as loveable geek Max. But is he back to reclaim his ex-ladylove — who is now on the verge of marrying someone new?


Oddly enough, Max does not return with reconciliation on his mind. Rather, he’s prepping to swap vows of his own, and his bride-to-be has — unbeknownst to everyone involved — hired Naomi to plan their impending nuptials.

This turn of events will throw the reformed Mean Girl for a loop, and — in typical Naomi fashion — she’ll end up on an emotionally confusing journey in hopes of reuniting with the nerdy love of her life. (It therefore seems unlikely she’ll find her happily ever after with current fiancé Preston, played by Nick Zano.)

Zuckerman’s arc begins May 1 and will continue through the May 15 season finale.

My thoughts: I'm really excited that Josh Zuckerman is returning to 90210, because I've always really liked the character Max even though he acted like a complete and total jerk to Naomi at the beginning of the season when it turned out that she was actually pregnant after all.
