NCIS Casts Mad Men's Melinda McGraw as Gibbs' Ex Wife-TVLine

Don Draper’s onetime mistress is trading in the ad man for NCIS boss man Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Melinda McGraw, who played Bobbie Barrett on AMC’s ’60s drama, will guest star on the CBS procedural as Diane, one of Gibbs’ ex-wives, TVGuide.com reports.

Diane will show up in the November episode “Devil’s Triangle,” when her current hubby gets caught up in a joint NCIS-FBI investigation. Complicating matters further, Diane’s other ex — FBI Agent Tobias Fornell (played by Joe Spano) — is also involved in the case. And neither of the gents is too keen on the redhead, especially after she cleaned them out post-divorce.

But don’t feel bad for Gibbs. All the uncomfortableness will no doubt be made up for when Jamie Lee Curtis joins the show for a two-episode arc as Charlotte Ryan, a woman from the Office of the Inspector General in the Department of Defense. Ryan and Gibbs will spar, which should lead to some “sparks,” says executive producer Gary Glasberg, adding, “We’re expecting some real chemistry.”

McGraw’s other credits include Desperate Housewives and Men of a Certain Age.
