Bookstagram: My Very Ambitious May TBR

Here's a picture of almost all of the books that are in my May TBR.

Here are almost all of the books that I’ve selected for my May TBR. (Neal Asher’s new book, The Soldier, doesn’t come out until May 15th.) @therealsjmaas’ new book, A Court of Frost and Starlight is going to be the first book that I’m going to read this month. @amandafoody’s book, Ace of Shades, is going to be the second book I’m going to read this month. I want to read it before @owlcrate’s OwlBabble with Amanda Foody. I’d like to read the first two books in @genashowalter’s Everlife trilogy back-to-back, but that might change depending on how close to the 15th it is by the time I finish reading Firstlife; I’m really hoping to read The Soldier this month. I would also really like to read @stephanie_garber’s Caraval again this month since the sequel, Legendary, is going to be released at the end of the month. I’m not quite sure where I’m going to fit @tessa.gratton’s book, The Queens of Innis Lear, into my reading plans this month, yet, but I’m really excited to read it. I’m also really excited FINALLY read @vanessafewings’ book, The Chase. 😀 I haven’t read the rest of @aleatharomig’s Infidelity series yet, but I’m really excited read Respect. It sounds really intriguing. 😀 All in all, I’m not sure that I’m actually going to be able read all of these books by the end of the month, but I’m definitely going to try my best to pull it off. 😀 #bookstagram #bookblogger #bookblog #bookaholic #bookaddict #acourtoffrostandstarlight #acofas #aceofshades #owlcrate #everlife #everlifetrilogy #thequeensofinnislear #tessagratton #genashowalter #aleatharomig #infidelityseries #icontrilogy #theicontrilogy #vanessafewings #nealasher

Bookstagram Post: A Recurring Thought About Aleatha Romig's Infidelity series

Here's a Bookstagram picture that I posted on Instagram, which is related to Aleatha Romig's Infidelity series.

I’m really hoping to reading at least one of these books, or possibly both of these books from @aleatharomig’s Infidelity series, next month so I can review it for my blog. When it comes to Romig’s Infidelity series, one thing I’ve been wondering about a lot is, why is the name of the series “Infidelity” if the series is supposedly not about cheating? The fact pretty much all of Romig’s tweets about the Infidelity series on Twitter include the disclaimer “Not about cheating” has always really given me the impression that Romig is worried that people will be turned off by the Infidelity series, and won’t be willing to give the series a chance due to its name. I personally don’t have a problem with the name of the series being “Infidelity”. I’m actually very intrigued by the series and the fact it’s called the “Infidelity” series;!but I can definitely see why some people would be bothered by the name of the series being “Infidelity”, and for that reason, wouldn’t be willing to give the series a chance. I do kind of think that Romig shot herself in the foot with the Infidelity series by calling it that. If Romig is indeed worried that people won’t be willing to give the Infidelity series a chance because of its name, I can’t help but wonder, why did she call it that in the first place? 🤷🏽‍♂️ That being said, as I said earlier, I don’t have a problem with the name of the series being “Infidelity”. I’m actually rather intrigued by the series’ title. I’m really excited to read both of these books soon; especially after reading her book Plus One, which I absolutely loved. 😀 This is simply something that I’ve been thinking about a lot when it comes to the Infidelity series. 😀 #bookstagram #bookblogger #bookblog #infidelityseries #infidelity #aleatharomig #randomthoughts #readinggoals
