2 Broke Girls: Scoop on the possibility of Nick Zano and Ryan Hansen returning and casting related scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on 2 Broke Girls from this week's (Posted on 9/3/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I recently became addicted to 2 Broke Girls. Any scoop on Season 3, particularly involving Nick Zano and/or Ryan Hansen returning to woo my favorite broke girls again? –Nikki
Ausiello:
When we asked co-creator Michael Patrick King that very question, he said both of the broke girls’ former guys were likely gone for good – or, at least, for the foreseeable future. “My whole thing is, [men] come in and they go,” he said. “At 25, they’re in, they’re out. They’re a memory. You maybe see them. Maybe you don’t.” As for the hot new pastry chef who’ll show up this season, King notes, “At this point, we’re hoping for a different guy who can bring out different things in Max than Johnny did.”

2 Broke Girls: Caroline related scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on 2 Broke Girls from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: First off, I love your column! I have been reading Ask Ausiello since you were on Entertainment Weekly! Second, do you have any 2 Broke Girls scoop? I’m dying! —Richa
Ausiello: Thanks, Richa, but to be precise, I was in Entertainment Weekly, not “on” it. I’m a stickler for details, oh yes I am. Moving on to your query, showrunner Michael Patrick King tells us that Steven Weber will “probably” be back as Caroline’s pop this season and that “you never know” whether Candy Andy will return to romance Caroline. “We loved Ryan [Hansen] so much,” he says, but acknowledges that Hansen’s casting on CBS’ Bad Teacher complicates things a bit.

2 Broke Girls: Scoop on the future of Max and Caroline's cupcake business in season 3 from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on 2 Broke Girls from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 6/21/13.

Anything on my favorite comedy ever? — HIMYMFan
Why, yes I do! Two Broke Girls scoop coming right up!! (I know, I know. But it’s what you get — for now.) As you know, at the end of last season, Max and Caroline’s discovery of a forgotten storage room led to a stroke of genius — the girls wanted to open up a cupcake shop right in the back of the diner. Specifically, they wanted a cupcake walk-up window. So where does the new season pick up? Beth Behrs doesn’t know for sure, but says “I can tease that I hope the girls open it, but [executive producer] Michael Patrick King won’t tell me anything!” What else would she like to see happen? A reconciliation! “I would like to see Andy get back with Caroline. I love Ryan Hansen and I would like to see them together,” she says. My wish list? Scrap the cupcakes. Get into the cronut business. Then send me some.

2 Broke Girls: Scoop on episode 2x06 "And the Candy Manwich" from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on 2 Broke Girls from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 10/25/12.

2 Broke Girls | Nov. 5 marks the debut of Veronica Mars alum Ryan Hansen as “Candy Andy,” the proprietor of a local confectionery who is sweet on Caroline. Alas, Max’s partner in cupcaking shies away from TV’s erstwhile Dick Casablancas because “she definitely does not make the best first impression,” Beth Behrs teases. That said, the Broke Girl touts Andy’s introduction as “my favorite episode that we’ve shot so far” as well as “probably one of the most shocking.” As for Hansen’s performance, “He blows me away,” Behrs raves. “He is so funny and he fits so perfectly into that role and into our show. The studio audience went crazy for him.” Apparently so did the producers, as Andy will recur for at least four episodes. “There is ‘unfinished business,’” Behr teases.

Happy Endings Casts Ryan Hansen in Season 2-TVLine

Because no “Year of Penny” can be complete without a fling with Dick Casablancas, Happy Endings has cast Ryan Hansen as a love interest for Casey Wilson’s future spinster.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that the Veronica Mars and Party Down alum will guest star in an upcoming episode as a successful-but-style challenged guy with whom Penny “revamps” in an attempt to make him more datable.

Sounds like another Penny disaster waiting to happen!

And now for some old news that bears repeating: ABC recently picked up Happy Endings for a full 22-episode season. Amahzing!
