Star Trek: Discovery: Official Season 5 Trailer (Final Season)

Here's the official trailer for the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery. I know that there are a lot of people out there who don't like Star Trek: Discovery, and while I definitely don't think that it's perfect, I have still really enjoyed Star Trek: Discovery, and I personally am sad that the show is ending this season. That being said, it does look like season 5 of Star Trek: Discovery is going to be really good. I just hope that it gets a better ending than Star Trek: Enterprise got for a series finale. 😬

A question for Star Trek fans

Hi, Everybody!
I’m contemplating reviewing each season of one of the Star Trek TV series, but I can’t decide between reviewing each season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or reviewing each season of Star Trek: Enterprise first. Those are the only Star Trek TV series that I own every season of on DVD, so it would be a choice between those two shows. Admittedly, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise are my personal favorite series when it comes to which of the various Star Trek TV series that I like the most.

I only own the season 6 DVD set of Star Trek: Voyager at the moment though. I would eventually like to buy the other six seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, so I might do the same thing with that series at some point in the future. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate people’s feedback on whether I should start by reviewing Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or if you would be more interested in me reviewing Star Trek: Enterprise first. If you could please, leave your response to my inquiry in the comment section of this post that would be wonderful. Thanks! :)

Star Trek: Enterprise-I miss this show so much

I don’t know why, but I’ve really been getting back into Star Trek lately. Perhaps it’s partially due to Star Trek Into Darkness being released in theaters. Anyway, I’ve been watching a lot of Star Trek: Voyager episodes again for the first time in years, and I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing with Star Trek: Enterprise.

I know that there are a lot of people who have issues with Star Trek: Enterprise and how it messed with the continuity and history of the franchise, but I for one really liked it. It was really interesting to see what Starfleet was like in its early days before they had fairly advanced ships and technology and before they had all the rules and regulations that frequently came into play in the previous TV series, such as the Prime Directive.

I love pretty much all of the characters on the show with the possible exception of Travis Mayweather. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike the character Travis. It’s just that he has never really stood out to me like the rest of the characters on the show did.

It’s such a shame that the show was canceled when it was. Personally, I thought season 4 was pretty good. The final episode was far from great due to the fact that it focused a lot on Counselor Troi and Commander Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation instead of the cast of Star Trek: Enterprise, but the series finale could have been a lot worse, if you ask me. I definitely think I’ll watch some episodes of Star Trek; Enterprise again in the near future.

Grey’s Anatomy: Desperate Housewives’ Steven Culp to Play Doctor-TVLine

According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, Steven Culp has been cast in a recurring guest-star role for season 9 of Grey's Anatomy. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Culp's role:

As reported by our sister site Deadline, Culp will recur during Season 9 of the ABC drama in the role of Dr. Parker, a top surgeon. It is not clear if Parker practices at Seattle Grace or elsewhere, given that some of the residents’ fates were in play at the close of last season.

My thoughts: I've always loved Steven Culp as an actor. I loved him on Star Trek: Enterprise, and he was great on Desperate Housewives, so I'm sure that he'll do a good job on Grey's Anatomy. Given the information that the producers and stars of Grey's Anatomy have revealed so far about season 9, I'm really excited to see for myself what the show is going to be like next season. Grey's Anatomy is definitely one of the returning shows that I'm most excited about this upcoming season, because it sounds like season 9 is going to be very different from the previous seasons of the show. I know that I've said this before, but I just hope the writers will handle the new format of the show well next season.
