USA Network has renewed a trio of series:
Covert Affairs,
Royal Pains and newbie
Necessary Roughness.
The cabler has ordered 16 episodes of each show. Veterans
Covert Affairs and
Royal Pains will head into their third and fourth seasons, respectively, while
Roughness will return for a sophomore run.
They join the previously renewed
White Collar,
Suits and
Burn Notice.
In Plain Sight will also be back for a fifth and final season.
“USA’s original programming blew through all expectations this summer. We had an unprecedented number of original series on our air — and every single one of them was great,” USA Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel said in a statement. “It’s a rare and wonderful thing to announce the pick-up of our entire summer of programming.”
The final six episodes of
Covert Affairs‘ second season air beginning Nov. 1 at 10/9c.
Royal Pains will finish out its third season later this winter.
