Molly Shannon to Guest Star on Up All Night Season 1-TVLine

Up All Night is staging a Saturday Night Live reunion this fall between funny ladies Maya Rudolph and Molly Shannon.
 
Shannon is set to bring the laughs on a November episode of the freshman NBC comedy, playing an “incompetent associate producer” on Ava, the talk show hosted by Rudolph’s Oprah-like character. (SNL vet Will Forte guest-starred on Up All Night earlier this season, yet sadly didn’t interact onscreen with his former castmate.)

This isn’t the first time Rudolph and Shannon have collaborated post-SNL. Rudolph dropped by Shannon’s short-lived Kath & Kim sitcom back in 2008. (Here, the two enjoy a mutual lovefest.)

Shannon — who most recently filled a vacant seat over on CBS’ The Talk — enjoyed a brief stint on Glee last season, playing Sue Sylvester’s nemesis.
