The Leftovers: Spoiler on the season 3 premiere (Episode 3x01 "The Book of Kevin") and more from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Leftovers from this week's (Posted on 4/6/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Have you seen The Leftovers Season 3 premiere? Any intel on it and/or the final season in general? —Roger
Ausiello: Roger that, Roger. The closing scene of the April 16 opener made me spit my Diet Half ‘n Half Snapple all over my MacBook Air. It’s a massive mind frak that launches a new mystery — and one I’m told we will get an answer to by the series finale. Also, if you enjoyed last season’s alt-reality, standalone ep “International Assassin,” then you are going to fall head over heels for its quasi-sequel, Season 3, Episode 7’s “The Most Powerful Man in the World” — aka the series’ second-to-last episode ever. (Take note that I refrained from referring to it as the “penultimate” episode. I know an overexposed word when I repeatedly type see one.) Oh, here’s one more Leftovers tidbit: Amy Brenneman’s Laurie figures prominently in these final eight episodes.

Reign: Scoop on episode 1x13 "The Consummation" from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Reign from this week's (Posted on 2/20/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Have you got anything on the Reign episode “The Consummation”? Specifically, something Mary and Francis-related? –Bree
Do I have anything on “The Consummation” aka the March 6 episode I watched just this morning? Oh yes. Most simply said, a lot happens. For one, Nostradamus has a new vision that, as he puts it, “changes everything.” Also, news of a significant death sets in motion events that will force Mary to make an impossible decision, and pronto, all while her deliciously devious mum (Private Practice‘s Amy Brenneman) plays puppetmaster in a way that must even impress Catherine.

Reign: Scoop on the introduction of Mary's mother from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Reign from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 12/18/13.

Jared: Obsessed is an understatement for me when it comes to Reign. I demand scoop on what's next for Mary!
Oh, just her mother Marie de Guise (played by Amy Brenneman) coming back into her life and throwing her "off-kilter," Adelaide Kane says. "Her character's kind of delicious and sort of Catherine-esque in her manipulations," she previews. "Where Catherine uses her children, she still ultimately loves them and wants their happiness. With Marie de Guise, she does use Mary, and it's questionable whether or not she's emotionally invested in Mary's emotional well-being."

"That's a fantastic character. When she does come to court, you can imagine that personality, you can imagine Catherine and those two together," showrunner Laurie McCarthy teases of Mary's mother, whose arrival will "throw Mary for a loop." But don't expect any warm and fuzzy moments between the mother and daughter as she previews, "Catherine may start to look like a very warm mother soon." Yikes!

Here's some scoop on Private Practice from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat Daily for Thursday 8/16/12.

Beth: I'm so bummed that Tim Daly won't be back on Private Practice. Will his exit be addressed on the show?
We're sad to see him go, too, and yes, his absence will definitely be felt on the show, especially by Violet. "My character at the beginning of the season, it's all about loss," Amy Brenneman tells us. "Tim is not coming back, and that's pretty much what I'm dealing with." As for Daly's exit, Brenneman says, "It's like life. People come, and then they go, and then [they] write to it. It gets to be like real living."
