Ausiello: The ubiquitous Annie Wersching (Vampire Diaries, Bosch) guest-stars in the third episode of Season 5 (premiering June 13) as FBI Special Agent Soto, a “smart, calculating” G-woman angling for a big win to push her career forward. The Vampire Diaries: Scoop on the future of Stefan and Damon's relationship with their mother from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on The Vampire Diaries from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 3/20/15.

Will Stefan and Damon ever have a normal relationship with their mother on The Vampire Diaries? — Susie
That probably depends on your definition of normal. After all, much like Stefan, Lily is a creature of extreme guilt. “She has a lot of torment inside of her,” Annie Wersching says. “And then adding this guilt that she feels for what the boys think of her and think that she did to them, [it] really messes with her.” According to Wersching, Mama Salvatore will have a bit of trouble adjusting to her present-day life, and the same goes for her relationship with her sons. However, she does note, “They do eventually become their own version of a mother-son relationship.”

Hi! Do you have any spoilers about Castle after the winter hiatus? — Fred
How about some scoop on Annie Wersching’s return as Dr. Kelly Nieman? She’ll play a big role in February’s two-parter. “There’s a murder that our cops are investigating at the beginning of the episode that seems to connect to her,” showrunner David Amann says. “That puts us on what we think is going to be a fun, dramatic journey for the audience as we try to solve that murder and figure out what her involvement is in it, if any.”

Got any casting news or episode info for all the Castle fans out there? Thanks. — Sandra
24 alum Jeffrey Nordling will guest-star in an upcoming episode as a real estate developer building a luxury mall along the Hudson river. Surely he’ll end up on Beckett’s radar, but wouldn’t it be cool if he appeared in the same episode as the long-awaited return of Annie Wersching’s Dr. Kelly Nieman so it’s a 24 reunion? Alas, my sources say there’s no update on when Wersching will actually be back this season.
