Question: Any plans for Jack McBrayer’s Dr. Goodwin to return to The Middle next season? —Dave
Ausiello: Yes, indeed. Exec producer Eileen Heisler says the 30 Rock vet will be back for “four episodes at least” as Frankie’s new boss. Heisler also assures us that even though Axl is going off to college, Charlie McDermott will “still be around” in Season 5. “It gives us a lot of fun storylines with how Brick and Mike deal with [his absence], with how Axl deals with it.”

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on the season 5 premiere from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 9/18/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Ausiello: Thursday’s Parks opener will answer the age-old question, “Is Pawnee big enough for two pigs named Tom?” Also, a couple breaks up in the premiere. (Kind of.) And Leslie and Ben do dirty things on Skype. On the 30 Rock front, Jack McBrayer was on my Tuesday morning flight from New York to L.A. I assume he’s out here for Sunday’s Emmys.
