Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 2/24/15.

MannyLee: What an you say to prepare us for the Parks and Recreation final hour?
Just that it isn't a flashy finale, but the kind that the more you think of it, the more you love it. It also probably closes the door on the idea of having any kind of Parks and Recreation reunion or movie someday....But we can still always hope, right?! Suffice to say, TV will get a little less awesome when P&R bows its head tonight. We miss you already, Pawnee. Check back here tonight right when the East Coast airing ends for scoop from boss Mike Schur!

Did anyone else besides Jerry (Terry?) go to work for Leslie on Parks and Recreation? — Geena
Yes, but I can’t tell you who. I will tell you that it’s not Ron and there’s a good reason for that. Bonus: There will be an entire episode that’s pretty much a walk down memory lane for Ron and Leslie’s friendship and it will give you all the feels.

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe's return in season 7 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

NUP_157954_1118.JPG

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 12/23/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got any scoop on the final season of Parks and Rec? —Serena
Ausiello: The one-episode return of Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be “warm, happy and upbeat,” reports exec producer Mike Schur, who teases that viewers will get “some cool glimpses into what [Ann and Chris] have been up to in the years that they’ve been gone. It’s going to be a really nice thing for people to see them.” Bringing Jones back for the farewell season was among Schur’s top priorities. “The entire series is predicated on Ann Perkins coming to a small public forum and complaining about something in her neighborhood,” the EP reminds us. “That was literally the design of the show, and it just wouldn’t have felt right if we didn’t have Ann back in one episode, at least. I’m really happy that it all worked out.”

It has a wonderfully sweet resolution.” BONUS SPOILER: We’ll meet Ben and Leslie’s nanny in Season 7. Who’s playing her? Parks and Recreation: Leslie and Ben related scoop on season 7 from TVGuide's Adam Bryant

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from TVGuide's Adam Bryant's Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 11/18/14.

How will Leslie and Ben be different when Parks and Recreation returns? — Eddie
Other than the obvious — aka being parents to three kids — and the ridiculous — "We're just inventing stupid 2017 technology," Amy Poehler jokes —  viewers should keep their eyes peeled for small, Easter egg-like nods to things that have changed. "The writers did a good job of just finding those little differences and advancements that you'll definitely notice this season," Adam Scott says. The other most notable difference will be seen in Leslie and Ben's professional lives. "You're going to see a bit more experienced Leslie and Ben," Scott says. "It's three years later and they're good at this. Not that they weren't before, but they have a little more blood under the bridge."

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on the possibility of Mayor Gunderson being introduced on the show in season 7 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 11/18/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m seriously missing my Pawnee pals. How dare they keep us waiting after a season closer like that?! I may be a little premature, but do you have any hints of what’s coming on Parks and Rec? —Grace
Ausiello: I can tell you what — or, rather, who — is not coming: Mayor Gunderson. Exec Producer Mike Schur tells us it’s unlikely the final season will introduce us to the MIA politico. “I don’t think you’ll ever meet him,” he says. “There’s an episode that has Mayor Gunderson in its fabric, so there is some discussion of him. But I don’t think you’ll ever see him walk on camera and wave and say hi.”

"You are going to see a lot of familiar faces over the past seven seasons," Jim O'Heir promised when we chatted with him. One person definitely returning for the final season is Lucy, Tom's girlfriend from season two, played by Natalie Morales. Someone who has yet to make an appearance? Rob Lowe, as O'Heir said, "I can tell you he has not walked the halls." Blergh. Boo.

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.EL.D. and Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 9/25/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

I was so surprised that Lucy Lawless’ character died in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season premiere! Is there a chance to see her in any of the following episodes? Or is there any chance to watch Lucy on other shows, like Parks and Recreation? –Natalie
Sorry, but plan to be Hartley-broken – that was Lawless’ one and only appearance. As for returning to Pawnee, she discussed that in our Q&A.

Parks and Recreation: Ron related scoop on season 7 from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 5/20/14.

I'm worried about why Ron Swanson wasn't in that final scene on Parks and Recreation?! — Kenya
Don't worry, Ron will be back! (Only those working for Leslie were shown in the flash-forward.) However, Ron's life may not be so stable — especially since he'll be dealing with teenagers now! "The reality is that if you're content in life, you're never content for long," executive producer Mike Schur says. "The fact that he has a home life that is very satisfying doesn't mean that there are no new challenges for Ron Swanson."

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on the possibility of Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones appearing in season 7 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 5/7/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any chance Chris and Ann will pop back up on Parks and Rec next season — even if for just an episode? —Joel
Ausiello: At the very least we’ll get an update about them via one of the show’s regulars, per exec producer Mike Schur, who tells us, “They were such a huge part of the show that I don’t think it would be appropriate to go a whole season without knowing what’s happening to them or seeing them.” The fact that their portrayers, Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones, have already booked follow-up gigs — he has the NBC pilot The Pro, she’s starring in a new TBS comedy — could create “practical production” challenges, notes Schur, “But no matter what, the show will keep tabs on the two of them.”

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on Billy Eichner's future on the show in season 7 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 5/5/14.

Dan: I'm probably one of the few people who likes Billy Eichner's character on Parks and Rec. Whatever, don't hate. Is he coming back next year? He wasn't in the flash forward and I must know!
Was that your best Craig impersonation? Because kudos. We took the question straight to Billy Eichner at the 2014 American Comedy Awards. "I believe I'm coming back, yes," Eichner told us. And he has some ideas for Craig in the future. "I'm excited to see what the writers come up with. They're so smart. We'll see, maybe we'll fast forward and Craig will have taken some Xanax and come down to earth a little bit." We think that's unlikely, but…"I just want to see him married to a lovely woman with kids…just kidding!…I'd like to flesh him out a little bit. He kind of came on as a bit of a novelty almost, not knowing that he would be sticking around so long. He's a very polarizing character, which I kind of love, and we'll see. I'd like him to get fleshed out and figure out where he came from and figure out why he is the way he is."

Question: Will we find out next season on Parks and Rec why Andy’s arm was in a sling in the finale? —Kim
Ausiello: Maybe. “It’s just a fun, little detail we threw in there,” explains EP Mike Schur. “I’m not a hundred percent sure whether you’re going to [learn] what happened to him or not.”

Parks and Recreation: Tom related scoop on the season 6 finale (Episode 6x21 and Episode 6x22 "Moving Up") from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 4/23/14.

Andrew: My kingdom for Parks and Rec spoilers.
Sounds like a fair trade to us! "The season finale is pretty crazy," Aziz Ansari spilled to us at an event for the Hilary Charity held in NYC. As for Tom, he revealed, "He is actually finally getting some actual business smarts and you see him put it all to good use. You also see him success in ways, so that's been cool to see this character go from a total clown to someone that is a clown, but kind of smart at the same time."

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on the return of Tammy 2 in the season 6 finale (Episode 6x21 and Episode 6x22 "Moving Up") from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 4/15/14.

Why is Tammy 2 returning in the Parks and Recreation finale?
To win back Ron, of course! "She basically says to him... 'Just because you're married to some woman and you're playing daddy doesn't mean I can't still work my magic on you,' executive producer Mike Schur says. "The rest of the episode is about whether or not that's true." Fear not, I hear Xena Diane proves why she's Ron's true love during the hour.

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 4/14/14.

Olivia: I cried during last week's episode of Parks and Rec. Is Leslie still going to take that big job in Chicago?
We were bawling our Parks-loving eyes out as well! To find out what's next for Leslie, we caught up with the blonde beauty herself, Amy Poehler. And to answer a question you didn't ask—yes, she is just as wonderful in person as you could imagine. So what's coming up for Knope? "Big stuff happening. Really big. We have a huge finale, it's very exciting and it's an hour long and major things are changing," the actress teased. "Big big changes, so tell everybody to make sure you watch the last five minutes." Better set those DVR's, TV fans!

It affects everyone. It’s a very big, seismic shift.” Theories?! Also, BONUS SCOOP from Adam Scott: “There’s an episode coming up where Ron and Ben have some real quality time together.
