I can tell you that in the season’s antepenultimate episode (airing April 28), Matt Jones reprises his role as NCIS Special Agent Ned Dorneget (and for multiple episodes) and Jamie Bamber returns as Bishop’s husband. (If you also watch NCIS: New Orleans, know that Steven Weber will be back as Councilman Hamilton in the final two episodes, while Stacy Keach returns as Pride’s pop in the May 12 season finale.)

Body of Proof Casts Jamie Bamber as Love Interest For Dana Delany-TVLine

It looks like Dr. Megan Hunt’s personal life suddenly has a pulse.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Battlestar Galactica vet Jamie Bamber is joining the cast of ABC’s Body of Proof as a love interest for Dana Delany’s medical examiner.

His character, Scott Decker, is described as a blue collar and (duh) sexy. I’m told Bamber is on board for at least three episodes, the first of which is slated to air in late November.

As TVLine just reported, Bamber is also set to guest star as a patient with a big secret in the Nov. 7 episode of House.

House Scoop: BSG's Jamie Bamber Checks In-TVLine

Buried within Fox’s just-released November sweeps release was a rather fraktacular casting nugget: Battlestar Galactica‘s Jamie Bamber is headed to House!


The actor is set to guest star in the Nov. 7 episode as a man who “suddenly collapses, and in the process of diagnosing his symptoms, the team discovers that he has been hiding dark secrets and lying about his personal and professional life… But when he openly confesses his wrongdoings to his family and community, he compromises his chances of receiving the proper medical treatment that could save his life.”

The episode also marks Chase and Taub’s official return to House’s team.
