As of now, Caroline will appear in two of the first 10 episodes, so while she’s important, she’s also not taking over the entire family story.

She’s not really meant to be a threat to Klaus’ love life.”

We can't say who Klaus is finally hooking up with, but we can tell you that Joseph Morgan says fans will not want to miss episode 18. And says it's a big Klaroline episode. Hmmm, As for the shirtlessness, Morgan says, "He hasn't really ever kissed anyone! I mean in the form of Tyler her has, but I think he's finally going to get some action. It's going to be interesting. Also, I've gotten away with a year and half of keeping my clothes on, on the CW, which I think must be a record! They probably thought, ‘Hang on a minute, he's getting that spin off,' so I've spending a lot of time in the gym."

"There are going to be characters that cross over between the two worlds. The whole world is going to be richer," he explains. "It would imagine all the fans that have been so generous to me are going to want to see what happens with Caroline…I feel like I owe it to the fans for there to be some resolve and for her to possibly turn up in New Orleans at some point. The Vampire Diaries: Scoop on the future of Klaus and Caroline's relationship from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on The Vampire Diaries from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 10/22/12.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: HOPE FOR KLAROLINE?
I was so on board the Klaroline train, people — and AM on board — but with Klaus on his usual string of bad behavior, am I the only one feeling like it’s looking less and less likely that this pairing will ever get a chance to play out? Probably not. But Joseph Morgan recently gave me a reason to turn my fan-frown upside down.

When EW recently hit the set of The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta, Morgan said in the first few episode of this season, fans will definitely see a little bit more between these two. “We’ll certainly see their relationship — but I don’t mean relationship in the sense that they’re dating — but we’ll certainly see the dynamic between them develop,” he says.

How? He wouldn’t say. Though he said he relishes the opportunity to show new shades of Klaus. “[The Klaus/Caroline storyline] brings out Klaus’ humanity. I love playing the more charming side of him and the scenes with Caroline really allow me to do that,” he says. “So I hope he has a shot with her. I think everyone deserves love and a second chance.”

If/When his chance comes, however, it will be easier said than done. “I wonder how much of a compromise he’d have to make in order for her to come around to him and whether he will be able to make that compromise,” says Morgan.
