White Collar: Scoop on the series finale (Episode 6x06 "Au Revoir") from TVGuide's Adam Bryant

Here's some scoop on White Collar from TVGuide's Adam Bryant's Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 11/25/14.

What can you tell me about the White Collar series finale? — Katie
Although the specifics are being tightly guarded, we can tell you that the show doesn't tie everything up in a pretty little bow. "In typical White Collarfashion, it does end on a big cliff-hanger that is shocking and challenging and open to interpretation," Matt Bomer teases. So show boss Jeff Eastinmight want to leave the country to get away from angry fans, right? Not necessarily. "I think it will create huge passion," Eastin says. "I'm hoping people aren't ready to stone the building. I think it will be satisfying and people will ultimately enjoy it."

White Collar: Scoop on the series finale (Episode 6x06 "Au Revoir") from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on White Collar from this week's (Posted on 11/18/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything on White Collar‘s final season? —Stacey
Ausiello: The series finale will feature quite a few storyline and character callbacks, exec producer Jeff Eastin promises. “My hope is that people who are real fans of the show, who’ve stuck with us this entire time, will not be disappointed,” he tells us. BONUS SPOILER: Eastin vaguely teases that Diana and Jones will “continue on and move up” in the last episode.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Scoop on the possibility of Tim DeKay returning to the show from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 11/4/14.

thisismydesignn: Any idea if/when we'll see more of @TimDeKay on #AgentsOfSHIELD? #SpoilerChat
When DeKay was cast, he was only set to appear in last week's episode. But we just learned that he's back for at least one more episode airing Nov. 18, and it's going to be a huge one for the warring Ward brothers! When Grant kidnaps his older brother, Senator Christian Ward, he takes him on a "violent trip down memory lane." Sounds like Christian is about to seriously regret his decision to have his younger brother transferred from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s high-tech bunker into FBI custody—allowing Ward to break free and escape government custody in that intense and epic fight scene. Thanks, big bro?

White Collar: Peter related scoop on season 6 from TVGuide's Adam Bryant

Here's some scoop on White Collar from TVGuide's Adam Bryant's Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 10/28/14.

I can't believe it's only a few weeks until White Collar's final season! What can you tease? — Jason
There will be a bit of role reversal during the show's final run when it is revealed that Peter, not Neal, is keeping a big secret from everyone. And despite Neal's skills at learning top-secret intel, he actually won't be the first person to find out what Peter is hiding.

White Collar: Scoop on the season 6 premiere, episode 6x02 and Elizabeth related scoop on season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on White Collar from this week's (Posted on 10/24/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

I saw on Twitter that you got the White Collar final season premiere. Anything you could share? — Katie H.
I can share that the final-season storyline, as laid out in the first episode (airing Nov. 6), is pretty damn nifty – a specific, final gambit with enormous stakes all involved, including on the personal front. The highly unexpected return of Ross McCall’s Keller (grrr) only adds to the mercuric, unpredictable nature of this ambitious con. Also: Great fun in Episode 2, where Peter and Neal must pose as father and son; damn if Tim DeKay doesn’t sell it. (That said, someone should have reminded me that plowing through the first two episodes would mean I’m already one-third through the farewell run!)

Anything about Elizabeth Burke on White Collar? –Wahiba
She is still very much D.C.-bound as the season opens, with her and Peter dedicated to managing the medium-distance relationship. Until something rather unanticipated happens.

White Collar: USA Network Announces Season 6 Premiere Date

According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, USA Network has announced that the season premiere of the sixth and final season of White Collar will air on Thursday, November 6 at 9 P.M./8 P.M. Central. White Collar's season premiere will lead into the season 5 mid-season premiere of Covert Affairs. Here's an excerpt from the article, which includes a statement from the president of USA Network, Chris McCumber and the creator of White Collar, Jeff Eastin.

“From its inception, White Collar captured a massive and loyal following, in large part due to the incredible on-screen chemistry between Matt [Bomer] and Tim [DeKay], who deserve credit for one of the most brilliantly performed ‘bromances’ in all of television,” USA Network president Chris McCumber said in a statement. “The series also benefited from smart writing and an extraordinarily talented supporting cast, who helped it become a fan favorite crime drama for five straight years. This season will not disappoint, with an exciting and shocking ending that fans will never forget.”

Adds series creator Jeff Eastin: “Saying goodbye to White Collar — and Neal and Peter — after six successful seasons is incredibly difficult, but I couldn’t be prouder of what our entire team has accomplished over the last six years. I’m grateful to FTVS and USA for giving the show a great home, and I can’t wait for fans to see the twists, surprises and phenomenal performances our final season has in store for them.”

My thoughts: I'm so glad that USA Network has finally announced the premiere date for the final season of White Collar. Hopefully, this means that a release date for the season 5 DVD set will be announced in the near future, because I've been very anxious for them to announce a release date for it. Unfortunately, I never got around to watching the show's fifth season when it was airing on TV, so I'm going to have to get caught up by watching season 5 on DVD. As much as I love White Collar, there's a part of me that feels like it's time for the show to end, so I'm not too incredibly sad that season 6 will be the show's final season. Plus, I get the feeling that Matt Bomer is ready to move on to other things since he's been involved in so many other projects besides White Collar in the past few years. Given the fact that so many TV shows are prematurely canceled these days, and I know that season 5 ended with a cliffhanger, I'm just glad that show is fortunate enough to have been renewed for a sixth and final season where it will hopefully have a proper ending to the series.

White Collar: Scoop on the aftermath of Neal's abduction in season 6 from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on White Collar from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 6/10/14.

I cannot wait for White Collar to come back! What can you say about the new season? — Thomas
Although I can't reveal exactly how Peter and the team will — spoiler alert! — find Neal after his abduction in the Season 5 finale, Neal will be back on the job by the second episode. But things won't be completely back to normal. In fact, it will be Peter who has to run a con in order to get Neal out of a jam. Unfortunately, Peter's acting talents will be further put to the test when he has to start a fight to create a diversion. Let's hope he's not just pretending he can throw a right hook!

White Collar: Scoop on season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on White Collar from this week's (Posted on 5/21/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any news on what White Collar’s final season will bring? —Michael
Ausiello: Here’s an interesting tidbit: The storyline for the six-episode swan song was partly conceived by leading man Matt Bomer himself. “I had this wild idea about how the story should end, and I talked to Tim [DeKay] about it and I talked to Willie [Garson] about it and we talked to [series creator] Jeff Eastin,” he tells us. “Everybody put their two cents in and were vibing on it. I think we came up with something that’s really fun and fitting. When I thought about it, it was really the only way we could end the show. I hope everyone’s happy with it.”

White Collar: Scoop on Diana/Marsha Thomason's return from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on White Collar from this week's (Posted on 11/7/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Loving the new season of White Collar, even Neal’s new girlfriend. But will Diana be coming back? –Adriana
Now that both Diana and her portrayer Marsha Thomason have delivered their babies, you can expect the character to resurface in this season’s final two episodes — and she won’t be alone. As Tim DeKay teases, “Eventually there’s a new cast member on the show — Diana has a baby, and it is the baby who helps one of our characters in an episode. That’s all I can say.”
