Especially now that Sweets is ‘free as a bird.’” I like your thinking, D – and lord knows either of those lasses would be a fine follow-up to Daisy. But as of right now, I am told, neither actress has booked her next appearance.

Grey's Anatomy: Asks Tina Majorino to Scrub In

According to TVGuide's Natalie Abrams and multiple other sources, Tina Majorino has been cast in a recurring guest-star role for season 9 of Grey's Anatomy as an intern named Heather. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some more details on Majorino's role:



"It's really interesting that everybody seems to think we've hired new series regulars," Rhimes said. "It's not. We hired some really lovely guest stars who are doing some really lovely guest-star stuff. It boils down to the fact that all our doctors are attendings and one of the things that I want to see our attendings doing is teach, so that's what we're seeing."

My thoughts: I have say that I'm beyond thrilled that Tina Majorino is going to be guest-starring on Grey's Anatomy next season. I loved her on Big Love and True Blood. Tina Majorino is a very talented actress, and I'm sure that she'll do a great job on Grey's Anatomy. I personally can't wait for season 9 of Grey's Anatomy. It sounds like the way they will be handling the aftermath of the plane crash will be very interesting and a clever way to deal with things. Plus, I love the idea of them showing the characters at various locations since all of the characters will be taking jobs at various hospitals. It will be interesting to see how the writers will handle doing that, and hopefully they will handle doing the show in that format well.

She’ll play a key member of the Vampire Authority’s support staff who first appears in Episode 3, which is scheduled to air June 24.

Ausiello: Agent Shaw resurfaces after Brennan gives birth, to once again assist Booth in the field. “We learn a little bit more about her in the episode,” previews exec producer Stephen Nathan, who says Majorino’s future on the show may be in jeopardy now that pilot season is upon us. “The reality is she’s going to get snatched up by somebody else.”
