According to Entertainment Weekly's Dan Snierson, FX has renewed both You're The Worst and Married for a second season, which will both consist of 13 episodes. You're The Worst will be moving to FXX, while Married will remain on FX for its second season. Here's an excerpt from the original article, which gives some information on the ratings for the two show's first seasons:
The two shows wrapped their 10-episode first season on Sept. 18. Married averaged nearly 2 million weekly viewers in season 1, while You’re The Worst averaged 1.65 million.

My thoughts: I've spent a lot of time in the hospital over the past several months, so I've unfortunately only seen the first episode of You're The Worst, but I was able to watch several episodes of Married. While I liked the first episode of You're The Worst and I definitely want to see the rest of the show's first season, Married is definitely my favorite of the two shows. The thing that made want to watch Married when it first started was the fact that Judy Greer is one of the stars of the show. I've been a fan of hers for years, and I've liked her in pretty much everything that I've seen her in. I really like her on Married.
Honestly, I very surprised and happy that both shows have been renewed for a second season considering the fact that neither of the shows had the greatest ratings. I'm especially happy about the fact that both show's second seasons will have 13 episodes instead of just 10 episodes like their first seasons did. Although, FX has always come across as a network that's willing to give new TV shows that have low ratings a chance to let their audiences grow considering the fact that the ratings for It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's first season were apparently very low. Fortunately, FX renewed it and brought in Danny DeVito in the hopes that him joining the cast would bring in new viewers. It worked and now it's going into its 10th season and has also been renewed through season 12.
For the record, I didn't start watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia until the show was in its sixth season, but I now consider it to be my favorite comedy that's currently on TV. (Sorry, Modern Family. I absolutely love you, but at the end of the day It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is still my favorite comedy.) That being said, I really hope that both You're The Worst and Married will be lucky enough to have their ratings grow in season two like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia did. Married is definitely my favorite of the two shows, but I still hope that You're The Worst stays on the air for a long time along with Married.
