Yes, if Noah (Derek Hough) has anything to do with it. Wednesday's episode will pick up moments after Juliette collapsed in his arms, with Noah "trying to take care of her and look after her," Hough says. Noah will also go to great lengths to keep Juliette's baby news hush-hush from everyone else. "He wants her to know that she can trust him, so he's gonna try to keep it on the down-low," the Dancing with the Stars pro says. "But that's easier said than done."

Dancing With the Stars: Scoop on Chelsie Hightower's future on the show from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Dancing With the Stars from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 6/13/13.

If anyone can find the answer to this question, I’m sure it is you, Matt: Is there any chance that we will see Chelsie Hightower return as a pro on Dancing With the Stars? –Lindsey
I perhaps have not watched an episode of DWTS since Kelly Monaco’s Season 1, but I’m game to take this one on. I am told that since Chelsie is still under contract with the ABC series (and last season popped up in some of the “pro dances”), there is at least the possibility she will be part of the Season 17 cast — though we won’t know for sure until late August.

ABC's Midseason Schedule Announced: Where's Cougar Town?!-TVLine

The Cul-de-sac Crew remains banished to ABC’s wine cellar.

The Alphabet network has unveiled its midseason schedule and, shockingly, it doesn’t include any mention of the on-the-bench Cougar Town.


It does, however, include premiere dates for new dramedy GCB (which will replace Pan Am on Sundays at 10 pm beginning in March) and creepy thriller The River (airing Tuesdays at 9 pm beginning Feb. 7) so there’s that.

Other key scheduling shifts:

* New cross-dressing comedy Work It will replace the (essentially) canceled Man Up on Tuesdays at 8:30 pm beginning Jan. 3.

* The Ashley-Judd-fronted drama Missing will air in Charlie’s Angels’ old slot on Thursdays at 8 pm beginning March 15. (Winter Wipeout will fill the slot in January and February.)

* The new cycle of Dancing With the Stars bows Monday, March 19.

Back to Cougar Town, an ABC source assures TVLine that the wine-soaked comedy will return sometime in the spring — which, by our calculations, is still way too late.

Also warming the bench: rookie sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and Shonda Rhimes’ latest drama Scandal.

2 Broke Girls is adding one really funny lady.

Jennifer Coolidge is joining the cast of the hit CBS comedy, Deadline reports. The Legally Blonde and American Pie alumna will play Sophie, a hardworking — and bound-to-be hilarious — woman who moves into Caroline and Max’s Brooklyn apartment building.

• Dorian Missick (The Cape) has booked a recurring gig on TNT’s Southland, playing the new partner of Regina King’s Detective Lydia Adams, Deadline reports. Season 4 of the critically acclaimed drama premieres Jan. 17.

• As a “thank you” to NCIS viewers for keeping the veteran drama No. 1 in viewers, CBS on Wednesday tweeted out a photo of Robert Wagner as Tony’s father, announcing that his encore is slated for November sweeps. Specifically, the DiNozzos’ family reunion is scheduled for Nov. 22.

• Katie Couric on Dancing With the Stars?! If the newest member of the ABC family has any say in the matter, you can count on it. “DWTS is my guilty pleasure!,” the journalist declared via Twitter. “1 day hope I’ll be on it…b4 I’m using a walker! Ha! But there might not be enuf anti perspirant on the planet!”

• NBC is rebooting the 1980s hit drama, Wiseguy. According to Deadline, the contemporary re-imagining will focus on a cop-turned-inmate who begins to work undercover for time off of his sentence.

• MTV has pulled the plug on its inspirational reality show, The Buried Life, after just two seasons, per EW.com.

Premiere Ratings for Two and a Half Men, Castle, Dancing with the Stars, More-TVLine

Ashton Kutcher is indeed packing. Viewers, and a lot of ‘em. The season premiere of CBS’ rejiggered Two and a Half Men on Monday night drew a series-high 27.7 million total viewers, almost doubling the audience of the sitcom’s year-ago opener.

The much-anticipated outing also scored a whopping 10.3 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo, more than doubling its tally there from the 2010 premiere.

All told, CBS’ sitcom line-up had much to smile about. A double helping of How I Met Your Mother delivered 11.7 million viewers and a 4.9 rating, up some 34 percent from a year ago, while 2 Broke Girls cashed in on their one-time lead-in, premiering to 19.2 mil and a 7.0 — up 57 and 79 percent from Mike & Molly‘s series debut.

The night’s other big gainer was ABC’s Castle, which with 13.6 million viewers and a 3.2 rating improved on its previous premiere by 21 and 14 percent, respectively. Elsewhere in the 10 o’clock slot, Hawaii Five-0 returned to 12 million viewers and a 3.4 rating (shedding half of its lead-in and down 10 percent from its 2010 debut, but besting Castle in the demo), while NBC’s The Playboy Club (5 mil/1.6) only drew two-thirds of the numbers Chase chased a year ago — and we all know how that turned out.

And lastly, in the reality-TV realm: The Dancing With the Stars premiere (18.6 mil/3.9) dropped 12 percent from last fall’s opener, while NBC’s The Sing-Off didn’t even manage Chuck numbers, mustering just 5.2 million viewers and a 1.9 rating.

Walking Dead Good News/Bad News, Stacey Dash Exits Single Ladies, DWTS Mulls Same-Sex Pair, and More-TVLine

Now there is literally even more to look forward to when The Walking Dead returns.
AMC announced Thursday that the hotly anticipated Season 2 premiere of the zombie drama will be a supersized 90-minute episode, to air Sunday, Oct. 16 at 9/8c.

Ah, but with this good news comes some bad. Although a half-dozen hour-long installments will air in the weeks to follow, the final six episodes of TWD‘s second cycle won’t unspool until Sunday, Feb. 12 at 9 pm — translating into an 11-week midseason hiatus.

• Stacey Dash has confirmed what has been widely rumored in recent weeks: She’s leaving VH1′s Single Ladies. “I truly enjoyed playing Val … but I have decided to leave the show,” the actress said in a statement to GlobalGrind. Dash cited “shooting location” as the reason for her departure, adding, “I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now.”

• With the news that transgender Chaz Bono would be paired with a female pro this season on Dancing With the Stars, some wondered why fellow celeb hoofer Carson Kressley — who is openly gay — was not paired with a man. “We thought about it,” exec producer Conrad Green tells E! Online. But…? “We try to follow what happens in real ballroom competitions,” Green said. “And while we are aware that there are same-sex couples, the competitions are usually mixed-gendered.”

• TVLine has unveiled exclusive details on Jake Pavelka’s return to The Bold and the Beautiful. In his first go-round the former Bachelor piloted the Forrester jet; this time he’ll be flying several members of the family to Aspen — where the CBS sudser is headed next week for a location shoot.

• Chris McKenna (One Life to Live, Harry’s Law) has landed a multi-ep arc on The CW’s 90210 as a love interest for Annie, per EW.com. As TVLine previously reported, Shenae Grimes’ West Bev gal will dabble in some escort employment in Season 4.

• Cougar Town boss Bill Lawrence has sold a multi-cam comedy pilot to CBS with former How I Met Your Mother exec producer Greg Malins, per Deadline.

• Deadline also reports that NBC is adapting a small screen version of the classic 1980s rom-com Romancing the Stone. The Forgotten creator Mark Friedman will pen the project.

• Fresh out of prison, rapper T.I. has landed a 10-episode docu-series to premiere on VH1 Dec. 5 at 10 pm.

'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 Couples: Their Odds of Winning-TVLine

ABC followed up Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars‘ Season 13 cast announcement by revealing celebs’ dance-pro partners on Wednesday’s edition of Good Morning America. Now that we know who’s hoofin’ with who, it’s time to put some odds on these couples’ chances to take home the Season 13 mirror ball trophy, ranking their potential from Michael Bolton self-immolation to Drew Lachey invincibility. Without further ado…


Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus | Wild-eyed cable hostess who made recent headlines for her raging obsession with the Casey Anthony trial doesn’t immediately present as the embodiment of ballroom elegance. The fact that she’s paired with first-time pro MacManus (formerly a member of the DWTS Troupe) may not help her in the vote-getting department, either. ODDS: 30-1

Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani | Musical nostalgia is a powerful thing, but Phillips seems somehow less suited to the weird and wonderful DWTS dreamscape than, say, a Debbie Gibson or a Jordan Knight. Will she fill the slightly stiff, “elegant” lady role, or is there a fleet-footed dancing queen under her exterior, ready to hold on for one more day? ODDS: 25-1

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff | The Iraq war vet and cast member of soon-to-conclude All My Children certainly has a compelling backstory — while serving as a U.S. army infantryman in 2003, his Humvee hit a land mine and he suffered severe burns to more than 40 percent of his body — but “soap star” and “model” are sometimes code words for “cannon fodder” in the DWTS universe. He’ll need to quickly impress the judges and quickly connect with the viewing audience to avoid an early exit. ODDS: 20-1

Elisabetta Canalis and Val Chmerkovskiy | I’m not the only one who chuckled when Canalis wasn’t introduced as “George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend” during ABC’s cast-announcement special, right? OK, yeah, she was on Leverage for a minute, but little-known beauties like Josie Maran and Petra Nemcova failed to go far in previous seasons. Drawing the lesser-known Chmerkovskiy — Val has appeared in a number of DWTS routines, but never as a full-fledged pro — may not result in a huge built-in voting bloc, either. ODDS: 20-1

Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer | The transgender activist is certainly one of the more intriguing personalities to grace the DWTS stage, and Bono’s inclusion in the Season 13 cast has drawn applause from GLAAD. Still, previous fuller-figured contestants have struggled with DWTS‘ grueling pace, and that could spell trouble as the choreography grows more difficult each week. Immediate bonus points, though, if mama Cher shows up in the ballroom audience. ODDS: 15-1




Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya | Expect plenty of wacky props and costumes from the leading contender for Season 13 Class-Clown Couple. Hard to imagine The Dapper Mr. Kressley will hoof his way into the holiday season, but a mid-pack finish could be possible on personality alone. ODDS: 12-1

Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas | She could very easily be eliminated in the first two weeks, but young, good-looking, and relatively unknown contestants (see: Joanna Krupa, Audrina Patridge) can quickly overcome lack of audience recognition when they’re paired with first-rate pros. I mean, did anyone care about Chelsea Kane heading into Season 12? Still, the icky-cocky Ballas seems kind of overdue for a mid-season exit — especially now that judges’ pet Derek is back in the mix. ODDS: 10-1

Ron Artest and Peta Murgatroyd | Probably a good idea that he’s competing as Ron Artest (and not “Metta World Peace”), and while he’s maybe not as warm and fuzzy as pro-athlete DWTS champs like Hines Ward or Apolo Anton Ohno, he’s certainly not going to be boring, either. Willingness to flash abs during DWTS cast-announcement special shows he’ll be OK with costume department’s sheer shirts and plunging necklines. Neophyte pro partner (a former DWTS Troupe member) is an unknown quantity. ODDS: 8-1

Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke | Like Cavallari, the lesser-known Kardashian could very easily be cut in the first two weeks, but young, good-looking, and relatively unknown contestants can quickly overcome lack of audience recognition when they’re paired with first-rate pros. ODDS: 6-1

David Arquette and Kym Johnson | Arquette is a polarizing presence, but he’s arguably the biggest name in the Season 13 cast, and actors tend to have an innate awareness of their bodies and an inner rhythm that can sometimes elude reality stars and “average people” (see Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin). Plus, he’s paired with DWTS delightful stealth weapon Kym Johnson, which can only help him win over fans. ODDS: 4-1

Ricki Lake and Derek Hough | Whether or not the judges’ fawning over Derek fills you with rage, there’s no denying he’s one of the show’s most astute choreographers. And there are certainly parallels between Lake (who broke through with a dancing role in Hairspray) and Season 11 champ Jennifer Grey (who broke through with a dancing role in Dirty Dancing). ODDS: 5-2

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy | A wildly popular (and undeniably attractive) athlete at peak fitness paired with the torso-baring badboy of the dance floor? Almost guaranteed a spot in the finale — even if she never changes out of her cleets. ODDS: 2-1

Sure, we saw Lake shake it more than 20 years ago in Hairspray, but each one of these stars (and starrish-like people) defies the term "wild card."

"I can finally confirm...I'm on Dancing With The Stars this season!!! Already having so much fun," Cavallari tweeted after the big reveal.

"I've been dying to tell you guys that I am on #DWTS. Can't wait to share the journey with you!," Grace offered, also via Twitter.

"Thx everyone 4 your support," wrote Solo. "I'm excited for this challenge but most importantly to try and raise awareness 4 women's soccer."

Are Chaz Bono and David Arquette Joining Dancing With the Stars? - E! Online

Controversial.
That seems to be the name of the game when it comes to the new season of Dancing With the Stars. Based on the casting rumblings we've heard, many of the new participants will certainly give viewers something to talk about. In just three short days we'll get the final reveal of the season 13 cast.
So who's on board?

We are hearing rumblings that David Arquette and Chaz Bono have signed on; however, nothing can be confirmed at this point. A show rep tells us: "We will unveil the cast this coming Monday night live during Bachelor Pad on ABC."
Rob Kardashian (brother of newlywed Kim) is also rumored to be a part of the cast.
And we first reported the rumor that George Clooney's ex, Elisabetta Canalis would be competing for the disco ball trophy.
We are also told there is at least one more controversial contestant—far more controversial than the names listed above. Hmmm!
