House of Lies: Clyde related scoop on season 4 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from this week's (Posted on 10/14/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I need some scoop about House of Lies, please. —Hani
Ausiello: Clyde will come face-to-face with his own Ghost of Christmas Future in Season 4 when his super-slick dad appears on the scene and proceeds to charm the pants off everyone (except his son, natch). Look for pops to stick around for at least four episodes.

Max: House of Lies scoop would be great!
We recently chatted with Kristen Bell about House of Lies' upcoming season, and while she couldn't say much, she called this year "dirty" and says, "I'm not nice this season. I'm kicking ass." Watch out, boys!

House of Lies: Clyde related scoop on season 3 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 8/15/13.

Adam in St. Louis: Waiting for Parks and Rec to return is the woooooorst! Imagine that being sung like Jean-Ralphio. Can I get scoop on his character in both House of Lies and Parks? I love him in both!
If you think Parks and Rec will soon become the Jean-Ralphio show, you are very wrong. Sources tell us that the writers are very aware that too much Jean-Ralphio could be a bad thing, and they won't overuse him in season six. That being said, he will be involved with Tom's battle against a rival Rent-a-Swag type company. As for House of Lies, Ben Schwartz told us recently that the Showtime series will explore a "darker" Clyde in the new season.

House of Lies: Marty related scoop on season 3 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 8/8/13.

Kyle in Austin: The only show I watch is House of Lies. Scoop me!
First of all, you really need to expand your TV horizons. It's a great big world out there! But since you are so desperately loyal, we shall reward you with some tidbits from Marty himself.  We caught up with Don Cheadle last week at the big Showtime bash and got right to the goods: How on earth is Marty going to schmooze his way out of this mess? "We left the end of season two with Marty having blown up all of his relationships," Cheadle says, "So, you know, third season is really about damage control and the wreckage and trying to figure out a way to get back, or if he can get back, maybe not. Maybe all of the pieces won't come back together." As for Marty and Jeanie (Meanie?) Cheadle says we will eventually see him address her declaration of love, "I think there's too much wreckage for him to just sort of skirt around it, he's going to deal with things in a different way than he has."

House of Lies: Scoop on Jeannie and Marty's relationship and more from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Matt Damon, House of Lies

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat for Friday 2/8/13.

George Z.: Love the Matt Damon on House of Lies photo. Any more scoop you can give us?
Kristen Bell tells us that the new season is going to be "very offbeat," and "a little bit funnier and a little bit darker" than last season. Plus, there is the whole will-they-won't they thing with her character and Marty. "The last season of House of Lies ended with Don Cheadle's character and my character sort of making some intense eye contact and the question was posed, ‘Are we going to hook up tonight?'  Which is, I think, a great cliffhanger for the end of any season," Bell tells us. "So this season is all about did we or didn't we? And in the beginning no one can really remember because there was a lot of alcohol involved. So, it's kind of about the dynamic shifts at the office. There are a lot of really great guest stars this year, so it's pretty star-studded."

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Carina Adly MacKenzie's Monday Kickstart column for the week of 1/14/13.

"House of Lies": Doug is getting a girlfriend! Although he's still "somewhat oblivious," star and executive producer Don Cheadle tells Zap2it that the numbers cruncher's love interest is "starting to pull his coat a little bit and hip him to the fact that he better open his eyes." Adds Kristen Bell: "So for the first time he's almost attempting to make a power play that shakes up the whole dynamic."

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Carina Adly MacKenzie's Monday Kickstart column for the week of 10/22/12.

"House of Lies": Producers are currently looking for actors to play Alex and Kyle Dushkin... AKA "the douchebag twins." They're a pair of handsome, spray-tanned, well-dressed brothers who used to be doormen, and now own nightclubs in Vegas. We'll see them a lot in the first part of Season 2, and producers are open to having one actor play both parts.

Parks and Recreation: Jean Ralphio related scoop on season 5 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat Daily for Tuesday 8/7/12.

Tad: I won't watch Parks and Rec next season if Jean Ralphio isn't on it.
Wow, that is a bold statement if we ever heard one. But lucky for you, we got Ben Schwartz to confirm to us that Jean Ralphio will indeed be back in Pawnee next season. And not just for a quick one-episode appearance. "I'm super excited to get on there, it's really fun," he tells us. "And there's enough time for me to play him, before House of Lies starts, for a couple episodes."

House of Lies: Scoop on the season 1 finale from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on House of Lies from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat Daily for Friday 3/30/12.

Jaime in Austin: Any scoop on House of Lies' finale? I get the feeling Marty and Monica aren't going to kiss and make up.
You got that right—but something will happen to forever alter their twisted, ex-with-benefits relationship. Showrunner Matthew Carnahan teased to us, "There is continued push-pull, but I think what I'm interested in is Monica [Dawn Olivieri] undergoing a radical transformation and how that could upset their relationship." Added Ben Schwartz (Clyde, and of course P.Rex's Jean-Ralphio): "There's a huge moment also [with the] custody battle…[their son] Roscoe is the thing that above all else Marty [Don Cheadle] doesn't want to lose. That's his rock when he comes home. To see what happens in the finale, to see who gets the child, it will just change the entire essence of the second season…what home base is for this person, if he goes home and no one's there. It's a totally different human being. What does he do with his free time? A lot of stuff that happens in the finale will change everything that happens in the second season. It changes how all of us act toward each other." Whoa! Sounds like the foundation is crumbling on Marty's House.

Jenna Elfman Cast in Shameless Season 2 Finale-TVLine

The new season of Shameless has found a funny lady.

Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) will guest-star in the Season 2 finale of the Showtime dramedy as Jill, “a woman with a dangerous past and an awkward present,” AOL TV reports.

Other recent gets for the dysfunctional family drama’s second season include James Wolk (Lone Star) as an investment executive who makes a connection with Emmy Rossum’s Fiona, and Zach McGowan (Body of Proof) as a love interest for Karen (Laura Wiggins).

Shameless returns Jan. 8 at 9/8c. To make the wait more bearable, check out a Showtime promo pairing Rossum with Kristen Bell, who stars in House of Lies, the new series that will be leading out of Shameless.

House of Lies: Key Art First Look-TVLine

Here’s your first look at the key art for Showtime’s highly anticipated new Don Cheadle-Kristen Bell comedy House of Lies, bowing Sunday, Jan. 8 after the Season 2 premiere of Shameless.

The series, based on Martin Kihn’s hit tell-all book How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time, revolves around dueling corporate management consulting firms. The cast also includes Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Dawn Olivieri and Glynn Turman.

My snappy judgement: Jaws is a little too close to KB for my comfort. Thoughts?

Which Fan Favorite Vampire/Bad Boy Just Joined Sarah Michelle Gellar's Ringer?-E! Online

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ringer

Have you been waiting for a Veronica Mars comeback? Well, you're in luck. Kind of!

Kristen Bell is coming back to TV (finally!) on Showtime's House of Lies, Max Greenfield (a.k.a. the always smilin' Deputy Leo!) is starring in FOX's endearing and hilarious new comedy New Girl and FOX just green-lit a new comedy from VM creator Rob Thomas. All is right in the world, especially because the news broke today that a certain bad boy/vampire is coming on board Sarah Michelle Gellar's Ringer...

Sarah Michelle Gellar Answers the Big Question: Why Is She Back on TV?

Logan Echolls himself, Jason Dohring, is joining the cast of the new CW drama.

The Veronica Mars and Moonlight fan favorite has been cast in the recurring role of Mr. Carpenter, a high school teacher at Siobhan Martin's (Gellar) stepdaughter Juliet's (Zoey Deutch) new school in Manhattan. EW first reported the news of Dohring's casting.

So any chance Logan and Buffy will hook up? (After all, we know she has a thing for bad boys/vampires.)

Gellar herself told us: "All my characters have multiple love interests. That's how I like it." So the numbers are in her favor.

Let's recap, shall we? We've got a Buffy alum (What up, SMG?!), a Lost vet (Nestor Carbonell) and now a Veronica Mars star?! Be still our TV-lovin' hearts. If Ringer, which premieres Tuesday, Sept. 13, wasn't must-see TV before, it is now.
