Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 1/30/15.

Why did Annalise tell Frank about Sam’s murder, but not Lila on How to Get Away with Murder— Rachel
In short, Frank is less emotional, but Annalise’s decision to keep Bonnie in the dark may come back to haunt her. “There’s probably going to be an exploration of betrayal that we can look forward to,” Liza Weil says. “Frank is able to have this disconnect that’s rather non-human, and I think that’s something that Bonnie is going to have to work on. She’s going to have to gear up on the disconnect if she’s going to be able to keep up with what Annalise’s demands will be for the rest of the season.”

TV_JEN: Anything #Scandal #GreysAnatomy or #HTGAWM literally dying from #TGITWITHDRAWAL
Samesies. How about some romance scoop on How to Get Away With Murder to ease your symptoms? "We get to see more of the resolution of Bonnie and Asher's relationship," Matt McGorry says of HTGAWM's Jan. 29 return. "It gets more complicated, but more fun, too. We get to see two people who are probably not great at relationships trying to work things out, which is painful to watch in some ways."

How to Get Away With Murder: Bonnie related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away With Murder from this week's (Posted on 11/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Do you have any Scandal or How to Get Away With Murder scoop for us? Thanks! —Colleen
Ausiello: Eenie, meenie, miney… Murder! OK, so you know how Annalise un-pink-slipped Bonnie in the immediate aftermath of Sam’s death/disappearance (and all its related shenanigans)? That left us wondering if Viola Davis’ enigmatic defense attorney told the whole truth and nothing but the truth to Liza Weil’s mousy right-hand woman. Showrunner Peter Nowalk kept it pretty vague when we pressed him for an answer, but he did let slip that that particular question won’t linger for too long. “You’ll know pretty early on what Bonnie knows and what she doesn’t know,” he teased of the show’s final half-dozen Season 1 episodes. Um, how many shopping days ’til the Jan. 29 return of #TGIT?

How to Get Away With Murder: Bonnie related scoop on episode 1x09 "Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me" from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 11/14/14.

Is Bonnie really fired on How to Get Away with Murder? — Blake
Yes, but she won’t be away from the firm for long. In fact, we’ll see her back in the winter finale, though the dynamic between Annalise and her protégé has definitely changed. “She desperately wants to be Annalise’s person, but it’s not the same,” Liza Weil says. But her initial firing does lead to that surprising hookup with Doucheface. “Getting fired is a trigger,” she adds. “Where she goes from there definitely informs how she ended up with Asher.”

How to Get Away With Murder: Scoop on episode 1x08 "He Has a Wife" from TVGuide's Adam Bryant

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from TVGuide's Adam Bryant's Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 11/11/14.

Lila was pregnant on How to Get Away with Murder?! Was it Sam's? — Shelly
That's what Annalise will try to find out on Thursday's episode. "There are certainly implications that it's Sam's," Liza Weil teases. But while Annie is trying to get the truth out of Sam, Bonnie will do her own detective work. "She does it on her own," she says. "There's a lot of wavering on Sam's part on how involved he was with Lila. That will get stretched out."

Scandal: Paul Adelstein Cast in a Recurring Guest-Star Role in Season 3-TVLine

Scandal Paul Adelstein

According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, Paul Adelstein has been been cast in a recurring guest-star for Scandal's upcoming third season. Details regarding Adelstein's role are currently being kept top secret, but he will first appear on the show in late October. Here's an except from the article:

Regardless, hopefully Adelstein’s character — who will first surface in late October — fares better than that of real-life wife Liza Weil, who played White House intern Amanda Tanner during Season 1.

Scandal marks Adelstein’s first TV role since Private Practice wrapped its run in January. (Mother’s Day, a pilot in which he played husband to Debra Messing, did not make CBS’ 2013-14 schedule.) The actor’s previous TV credits also include Prison Break (Kellerman!) and Rob Thomas’ Cupid.

Scandal opens Season 3 on Thursday, Oct. 3.

My thoughts: Despite the fact that nothing has been revealed about Paul Adelstein's role yet, I'm beyond excited about this news. I loved him on Private Practice, so I'm very confident that he'll do a great job on Scandal. Honestly, I had completely forgotten that Paul Adelstein is married to Liza Weil until I read the original article. I loved her on Gilmore Girls, and she was great on Scandal too, but I digress. That being said, since Shonda Rhimes clearly has a habit of using the same actors on several of her shows, I would love it if Chris Lowell, KaDee Strickland, Taye Diggs, Benjamin Bratt, or Caterina Scorsone appeared on Scandal at some point in the future. I loved them all on Private Practice, and I think it would be great to see them on Scandal, or any TV show for that matter. One thing is for sure though, Shonda Rhimes pretty much always does a great job of casting good actors to appear on her TV shows.
