Code Black: Leanne related spoiler on the final two episodes of season 2 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/229/files/2017/01/109379_0671b.jpg

Here's some scoop on Code Black from this week's (Posted on 1/9/17) Matt's Inside Line column.

Will Code Black‘s Leanne get more action? She’s my No. 1 cowboy! —Astrid
First off, can I tell you how delighted Marcia Gay Harden was to hear you call her character a “cowboy”? (“That’s my favorite thing that I’ve heard,” she kvelled, “and if I’m not careful I’m going to cry!”) As for what’s to come for Leanne, “The last two episodes are amazing. It’s a two-parter where we’re combatting a viral disease, and we have to go out into the city to figure out where it’s coming from, and Leanne is compromised, in many, many ways.”

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 2/6/15.

What’s going to happen now that Sam’s body has been found on How to Get Away with Murder? — Kylie
As you may have spotted in the promo, Hannah has a very good idea of what really happened to her brother. “She becomes wildly suspicious once he turns up dead,” Marcia Gay Harden says. “It’s obvious why she would become wildly suspicious. At that point, it feels like her attention is focused on Annalise and she goes for the jugular.”

How to Get Away with Murder: Scoop on episode 1x10 "Hello Raskolnikov" and scoop on Marcia Gay Harden's role from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://images.bwwstatic.com/columnpic6/E383DD3A-A0D2-8266-0FBC1899DDAB35B7.jpg

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from this week's (Posted on 1/27/15) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Hi, Aus! Totally love Ask Ausiello. I read it religiously. I would love some scoop on my latest obsession, HTGAWM. —Andrew
Ausiello: There are no sex scenes in Thursday’s midseason premiere. I. Kid. You. Not. The episode is coitus-free. But what the hour lacks in nooky, it makes up for in awkward morning-after energy (I’m looking at you, Bonnie and Asher) and additional Murder Night flashbacks (you’ll learn just how involved Annalise was in the events of the evening). Bonus Scoop: While EP Pete Nowalk doesn’t want to spoil what role Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden has signed on to play, he’s kind enough to provide a little tease. “We meet her character at the end of [Thursday’s episode]. She plays this really powerful, smart woman to be in scenes with Viola,” Nowalk says. “You can expect their interactions to be big and emotional.”

How to Get Away With Murder: Scoop on Marcia Gay Harden's role from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

2014 Marcia Gay Harden Hairstyles: Center Part Hairstyle for Long Hair

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away With Murder from this week's (Posted on 11/7/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Do you have any Scandal or How to Get Away With Murder scoop? –Colleen
I choose Murder (and always do, heh….), if only because I’ve got a few details on Marcia Gay Harden’s recurring role, which sounds right in her wheelhouse. The character is described as intelligent, well educated, confident and friendly, if not also a but intimidating. Hailing from an academic family, she does not suffer trophy wives fools, and was raised to speak her mind — and that is exactly what she does, especially if witness to an injustice.

The Newsroom: Will and Maggie related scoop and more on season 2 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Newsroom from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 7/11/13.

Do you have any scoop on what The Newsroom will bring us when it returns? —Erica
We now go to TVLine’s Kim Roots, live on the screener-watching scene! “The Tea Party hasn’t forgotten about the ‘American Taliban’ comment Will made in last season’s finale, and ACN takes a few major hits because of it,” Roots reports. “But that’s nothing compared to the huge trouble the network – and News Night, in particular – are in as the season opens. Elsewhere: Maggie’s got a terrible new haircut (with an even more terrible story behind it), a NewsNight staffer gets arrested, Marcia Gay Harden is a lot of fun as a sharp-dressed attorney, Jim spends a lot of time on a bus with Grace Gummer (Smash) and we finally find out exactly what Will said in the rest of his stoned voicemail to Mackenzie.” Thanks, Kim!

Revenge: Stars Tease Season Two and Reveal Who They Want to Play Emily's Mother!-E! Online

Madeleine Stowe, Revenge

Here's an article by E! Online's Lisa Abdolian, which gives some scoop on season 2 of Revenge. In the article, Madeleine Stowe basically comfirms that Victoria didn't die in the airplane explosion at the end of the season 1 finale. (Not that I believed for one second that Mike Kelley would action kill Victoria off the show.) Stowe also gives some scoop on Victoria's relationship with Emily's mother, and several stars from the show share their thoughts on who should play Emily's mother. Here's an excerpt from the article where Stowe talks about the dynamic of Victoria's relationship with Emily's mother and the cast talk about who they think should be cast as Emily's mother:

Fret not, Revenge fans: We all know it would take more than a little bomb to kill Victoria Grayson, queen of the Hamptons!

"She's not dead," Bowman tells us exclusively. "You can't kill off Victoria!"

So yes, you can all put down the red Sharpies as there's no need to exact revenge on creator Mike Kelley just yet. But what will the next season bring? Stowe let slip a juicy season-two tease while chatting with us about Emily's mother, who was revealed to be alive in the season finale.

"My understanding is we're antagonistic toward each other," she says, before quickly adding that this will happen if Victoria returns, of course. Her top choice for the part? Marcia Gay Harden!

"I would love a wonderful, strong actress who is a contemporary to play with. I'd love Marcia Gay Harden, but I don't know if she's been discussed for this," Madeleine tells us. "She would be fantastic. There are great actors on the show, but it would be fun to work with someone who is my contemporary."

Marcia Gay Harden
And just like his onscreen mother, Bowman would also like to see Harden take on the role, telling us, "Marcia Gay Harden would be great. It's got to be someone who's got a little bit of a screw loose and can do that well. Marcia's done that a few times; she's good at it."

As for Daniel, Bowman speculates that Daniel is going to get as dark as ABC will allow, a turn possibly fueled, in part, by his guilt about the intense conversation he had with his mother before she boarded the plane.

"I mean if your mother died, I'm sure you'd be plagued with guilt," he reasons. "Within the ABC parameter, [Daniel] can't get too dark, but I'm sure that he's going to have this kind of M.O. throughout in terms of this sort of darker side to him."

My thoughts: I have to say that I couldn't love the idea of Marcia Gay Harden playing Emily's mother more than I already do if I tried. The first thing I ever saw Marcia Gay Harden in was the movie The First Wives Club, and she was hilarious in that movie. I recently watched season 2 of Damages for the first time on DVD, and Marcia was brilliant on Damages. If you've never seen Damages already, I highly recommend that you buy the DVDs of the first three seasons and season 4, which will be released on DVD next Tuesday. The DVDs of Damages are worth every penny, if you ask me. While I'm beyond grateful to DirectTV for purchasing Damages from FX when they decided to cancel it, I hate that I have to wait until the DVDs come out to watch the show now since I don't have DirectTV. Damages is definitely one of the most brilliant shows on TV right now, if you ask me, but I digress. If Marcia Gay Harden isn't cast as Emily's mother, then my next choice would be Elizabeth Mitchell. I think she would be great on Revenge.

Marcia Gay Harden to Guest-Star in Season 1 of NBC Comedy Bent-TVLine

Marcia Gay Harden is about to get Bent out of shape with George Bluth.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Oscar winner will appear opposite Arrested Development alum Jeffrey Tambor in an episode of the yet-to-be-scheduled midseason NBC comedy, Bent.

Harden will play the sexy, flirtatious ex-wife of Tambor’s Walt, and her sudden return to town results in an unhealthy rekindled romance of sorts between the two exes.

The sitcom stars Amanda Peet as a newly divorced single mom who enlists the help of a notorious womanizer (Perfect Couples‘ David Walton) to remodel her home. Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s J.B. Smoove, Brothers & Sisters‘ Matt Lestcher and Friday Night Lights’ Jesse Plemons round out the impressive cast.

Harden can also be seen can be seen this Tuesday in Innocent, the debut installment of TNT’s new Mystery Movie Night franchise.
