Is it possible for someone to find out why there have only been two sightings of Kate Beckett’s engagement ring on Castle this season? –Dan
I am your someone, Dan. And this someone hand-delivered your Q to Stana Katic. “The important thing to remember is that Beckett is a detective, so she can’t wear things that will identify her, she can’t wear things like that on her hands that would distract from the conversation, that could be stolen, that could possibly hinder her when she’s shooting or hand-fighting,” she explained. Also, Katic said, the ring “is something that Beckett’s very protective of, because she loves it, so on occasion, if it’s like a big event or maybe a private moment outside of being in bed, she can wear it. But having it on display at the work place is not appropriate, especially as a detective.”

This week’s episode of Castle was great, I don’t think they’ll be able to top that this season. What should we expect in the next episodes? –Cami
As you may have read, Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield will guest-star in Episode 19, “The Greater Good,” as Captain Gates’ estranged, U.S. Attorney sister. Up after that is the already buzzy “That ’70s Show” episode, in which character actor Jon Polito (Millers Crossing, Barton Fink) will play Harold Leone, the onetime consigliere to an infamous mobster who disappeared in 1978.

IMDb lists Ruben Santiago-Hudson in the credits for Castle Episode 18. Any truth to that? –Jenn
None — though bringing Capt. Montgomery back would be a neat trick, amiright?

Get ready to meets Capt. Gates' sister! Eureka star Salli Richardson-Whitfield will play Elizabeth Watts, a U.S. Attorney with ties to Castle and Beckett's latest murder. "We end up with a victim who it turns out is a confidential informant for the U.S. Attorney's office," creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. But don't expect a lot of sisterly love during the investigation; they're apparently estranged. "Gates doesn't talk about her," Marlowe says.

You’re timing is actually perfect because the Bones spinoff moves into its new Friday death perch this week with an episode that, ahem, finds Walter enlisting young Willa to help him cyberhack a DJ while Leo is off reconnecting with an old flame (played by Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield). You’ll also see 50 Cent playing a gun-toting, angry music producer and Walter channeling his inner white rapper.

The Finder Casts Salli Richardson-Whitfield in Season 1-TVLine

The Finder has located an attorney for 50 Cent.

The Bones spinoff has cast Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Athena Brooks, the lawyer representing the music mogul played by special guest star 50 Cent.

As TVLine reported on Thursday, the actor-rapper-entrepreneur will appear in a February episode as Big Glade, a successful, intimidating hip-hop bigwig who is desperate to find the lost tracks of a deceased rap artist on his music label.

Whitfield’s character — who shares a past with Michael Clarke Duncan’s Leo — is responsible for hooking Big Glade up with professional finder Walter (Geoff Stults).

Fun Fact No. 1: This isn’t Whitfield’s first brush with the Bones-verse. Back in 2006, she guest-starred on the mothership as Assistant U.S. Attorney Kim Kurland.

Fun Fact No. 2: Kim Kurland is the name of Bones‘ longtime publicist.
