Revenge: Casts Justin Hartley as Victoria's Long-Lost Son! | E! Online

Revenge Season 3 Justin Hartley

According to E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos, Justin Hartley has been cast as Victoria's long-lost son, Patrick, for a multi-episode arc and his first appearance will be in the season 3 premiere of Revenge. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some more details on the role of Patrick:

Revenge's season two finale ended with a smashing cliffhanger—Patrick appeared at the Graysons' doorstep, and though we never saw his face, the very sight of him shocked Victoria enough to make her drop her glass, shattering it on the floor. Patrick's return will assuredly send shockwaves through the Hamptons in the new season.

Justin Hartley was a fan favorite on Smallville, playing Oliver Queen (Arrow) in the final seasons as a series regular. The 36-year-old actor also played the title role of Aquaman in a failed pilot for the CW, and last appeared on television in the canceled series Emily Owens M.D.

Though fans don't yet know much about Patrick, we know Victoria gave birth to him at age 16 and then gave him away to a nun when he was only 6 months old so that she could attend art school in Paris. (Priorities, people! Beauty before babies!) When Patrick started looking for Victoria later on, she paid him $5 million to disappear. Guess that didn't work?

My thoughts: I've been a huge fan of Justin Hartley ever since he joined the cast of the now canceled soap opera, Passions, and I also liked him on Smallvile, so I'm really excited that he has been cast as Victoria's long-lost son. Although, I have to admit that I fell behind on watching Revenge an episode or two past the halfway point of season two. I'm definitely going to get caught up on watching season 2 in the near future though.

As for season 3, I'm really excited for next season, especially now that they've killed off Declan. I never liked Declan as a character, and I've especially never been a fan of Connor Paolo as an actor. I always thought that his acting wasn't very good when he was on Gossip Girl, and his acting on Revenge was always mediocre at best in my opinion. Justin Hartley being cast as Patrick is definitely the best and most exciting news that I've heard about Revenge's third season at the moment.

Haven: Nathan and Audrey related scoop and more from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Haven from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 11/1/12.

Any chance that fans of Haven‘s Nathan/Audrey (Naudrey) will have something to look forward to anytime soon? All this angst and moments with other people *cough* Jordan *cough* is killing us. Aimee
Your patience, it seems, will be rewarded. “Audrey has been pushing Nathan away to protect him from her own fate,” EP Jim Dunn notes. “But very soon, Audrey will confront a tragedy that makes her realize just how deep her feelings for Nathan really are.” In other news, I have nailed down Laura Vandervoort’s Haven visit: The Smallville alum will appear in the final two episodes of the season, airing Friday, December 14 and Friday, December 21.

First Look: Smallville's Cassidy Freeman On The Playboy Club-TVLine

Tess Mercer in satin dinner gloves? Don’t mind if we do.

Smallville alum Cassidy Freeman, as we first told you, has shot a recurring role for NBC’s recently debuted The Playboy Club — playing a socialite with a secret — and TVLine has an exclusive first look at how she matches up with the Dean Cain-like Eddie Cibrian.

Starting with the third episode of Playboy Club (Mondays at 10/9c), Freeman will play Frances Dunhill, a well-heeled Chicago beauty who helps Cibrian’s Nick Dalton with his bid for State’s Attorney by giving him a proper lady (versus a corseted bunny) to have on his arm at public events. The arrangement also benefits Frances, who is putting on this show as a way to please her status-minded father. But trust us, she’d rather be with… someone else.

Check ‘em out, then read on for more….

Before hitting The Playboy Club, Freeman can be seen in the CSI: NY season premiere, airing this Friday on CBS. She also is a cast member of the new A&E drama Longmire, which also stars Robert Taylor (The Matrix) and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and recently received a 10-episode order.
