Here's some scoop on Person of Interest from this week's (Posted on 5/5/16) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Some Person of Interest scoop, please? —Ashley
Ausiello: Carrie Preston’s Grace will be back for POI‘s June 21 series finale, which suggests to me a happy ending for Finch. (No, not that kind of happy ending. I’m talking about the one you get at the conclusion of a slightly illegal massage.)

The Good Wife: Scoop on the possibility of Carrie Preston returning to the show in season 7 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 5/12/15.

Mia: Carrie Preston has a new show, does that mean she's done for on The Good Wife?
A Good Wife season without Elsbeth Tascioni? Don't bet on it! We caught up with Carrie at the NBC Upfronts where she was promoting her new comedy Crowded and of course the topic of conversation turned toward Elsbeth. Will she be back? "I mean, I wish. That's all I can say," she tells us. So did she work her magic like she did back on True Blood to get some TGW into there? "I did, yeah." PHEW!!!!

Getting On: Scoop on Carrie Preston's role in season 2 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Getting On from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 10/28/14.

Millie: I love that you all love Getting On. What's the scoop?
We love that you love that we love Getting On. We chatted with everybody's favorite, Carrie Preston, who revealed a little nuggets about her upcoming guest appearance. "It was a very different character for me, that was cool to do that," Preston told us. As for what's next, Preston is open and waiting for the call! "Now that I'm done with True Blood, which I'm so sad about, I'm back on the market looking for the next thing." Is that "next thing" a TV series? "I would love that. I really do love TV, I love watching it. I love doing it. If I can win the lottery twice I will be a happy girl. It's very hard to do that, but I would be very happy."

The Good Wife: Scoop on Carrie Preston's return in episode 6x06 "Old Spice" from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 10/21/14.

Scott: Carrie Preston for president! Or at least a spinoff. She's so good on The Good Wife. I read she's back next week, but she wasn't in the promo. Any details you can spare?
Carrie Preston is indeed back for the Sunday, Oct. 26 episode of The Good Wife and she's sharing scenes with another returning fan-favorite guest star: Ana Gasteyer. "I'm a fan of hers, we have a lot of mutual friends. That was fun to work with her, they've written a really great part for her and she really relishes it," Preston told us. "That was fun to see Elsbeth interact with that character because she's never gone before her as a judge before…she's a very rigid judge, so that's fun." In our opinion (see what we did there?), seeing the ultra-quirky Elsbeth Tascioni go in front of Gasteyer's Judge Patrice Lessner is a can't miss event.

Person of Interest: Scoop on Grace's return in episode 3x21 "Beta" from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Person of Interest from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 4/15/14.

Got any Person of Interest spoilers? — Brent
Carrie Preston will return in the April 29 episode as Finch's former flame Grace, but don't expect a romantic reunion. In fact, given the war between Decima and Team Machine, Grace's return is probably the last thing Finch wants.  "Finch created [the Machine] as a black box... to avoid a situation where someone with absolute power could corrupt absolutely," executive producer Jonathan Nolan says. "Samaritan doesn't have any of those checks in place, so Greer and Decima are free to use it to give them as much leverage as possible over their enemies. Harold Finch has precisely one point of leverage — and that's Grace."

The Following: Mandy related scoop on episode 2x03 "Trust Me" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Following from this week's (Posted on 1/28/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Do you think Mandy on The Following is going to be Joe’s new apprentice? Sure seemed like it from last night’s episode. –Walt
Ausiello: It’s possible, especially after Tiffany Boone told us that next week’s installment “will definitely be a shocking episode for Mandy” and that the hour will spend time exploring Mandy’s relationship with her mom, Carrie Preston’s Judy. “You’ll see the fractures in their relationship and what they’re going to do about that going forward,” Boone teases.

Person of Interest: Scoop on the possibility of Finch being reunited with Grace from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Person of Interest from this week's (Posted on 12/5/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Will we ever see Finch reunite with his love on Person of Interest? Will Grace at least find out why he had to leave, since they obviously still love each other? –Norma
Carrie Preston, who pops up now and again as her real-life husband’s TV soulmate, agrees with you, saying, “It would be really wonderful to have Harold and Grace meet up in the present day. He’s protecting her by not letting her know, but maybe there could be some way for him to let her know that he is OK. It would be nice to see Harold have that love in his life.” That said, between carefully portioned Good Wife encores and her No. 1 True Blood commitment, there are no plans for a POI return at this time.

The Good Wife: Scoop on the possibility of Carrie Preston returning to the show from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from this week's (Posted on 11/19/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Is it true? Carrie Preston’s doing another episode of The Good Wife? —Joshua
Ausiello: It’s true! “I got permission from HBO to do one last [episode] before I go back to work [on True Blood],” Preston tells us. “It’s not that they don’t want to support me; it’s just a contractual thing.” Storyline-wise, the Emmy winner insists she has no idea what brings Elsbeth back into the fold. Seems like a safe bet that she’ll get caught in the middle of the war between Team LG and Team FA though. “That would be tough for her,” concedes Peston, although… “I think she can play both sides of things. Wherever she’s needed, that’s where she wants to be!”

Question: You are a person of great interest and I would like to know if your Blind Item is about Person of Interest? —Aaron
Ausiello: I see what you did there and I’m mildly amused by it. No, the actor getting killed off POI this week is not the subject of my Blind Item. But while we’re on the subject, Carrie Preston — who recurs on the CBS drama and is married to its star, Michael Emerson — warns viewers to stock up on the Puffs Plus. “It will be very sad,” she confirms of [SPOILER'S] swan song. “It’s going to be sad for everybody — not just the fans but also the cast. But I think the way [the show] is handling it is quite remarkable.”

What scoop can you give on The Good Wife? –Ella
Carrie Preston – on the verge of winning her Emmy last Sunday – told us that when Elsbeth Tascioni resurfaces this season, it will be to represent Lockhart/Gardner against frequent foe Viola Walsh (played by Rita Wilson). In that episode, she teased, “There’s a really fun thing that I get to do that I can’t wait for people to see!” I’m thinking… b**chslap?
