Battle Creek: Casting related scoop from TVGuide's Adam Bryant

Here's some scoop on Battle Creek from TVGuide's Adam Bryant's Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 9/2/14.

I know it doesn't premiere for a while, but I'm really interested in Battle Creek. Anything you can tell me about it? — Justin
I can tell you that the show is assembling a pretty great guest cast. First, the buddy-cop drama from Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan and House's David Shore has enlisted Patton Oswalt to play Mayor Scooter Hardy. Now, I can exclusively reveal that another former House regular — Kal Penn is a series regular — Peter Jacobson will play Darrel, Mayor Hardy's chief of staff and brother. Anyone else think Hugh Laurie might make a good governor?

Parks and Recreation: Leslie, Tom and Ann related scoop and casting related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 2/19/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any Parks and Recreation scoop? —Carrie
Ausiello: Patton Oswalt is guest starring in an upcoming episode (directed by Amy Poehler) as a guy who objects to Leslie making changes to the horribly outdated Pawnee Charter. Basically, he thinks life was better in 1817 when the town was founded, and that the people who wrote the charter were unimpeachable geniuses whose writings should never be altered. Elsewhere in P-town, Tom flirts with a dream — and Ann reacts to it like a nightmare — when a gal-on-the-prowl courts them for a threesome.

Justified: Scoop on the season 4 premiere (Episode 4x01 "Hole in the Wall") from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Justified from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 1/8/13.

SO excited for the return of Justified. Any intel on this new rival for Boyd I’ve been hearing about? — D & B
Boyd will definitely have a bone to pick with the snake-charming preacher you see in this promo, who has put a new substance on the market that is threatening Boyd’s business. On a lighter note, Patton Oswalt is brilliant as a bumbling constable who finds himself working with Raylan quite a bit in the first episode and you’ll see one thing we’ve never seen on the show before: a furry. (Note: I laughed out loud.) For more, check out Mandi Bierly’s chat with Justified EP Graham Yost.
