White Collar: Casts Pablo Schreiber in a Season 4 Episode-TVLine
According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, Pablo Schreiber will be guest-starring in an upcoming season 4 episode of White Collar. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Schreiber's role:
Schreiber appears in Episode 15 as JB Bellmiere, a brilliant and volatile avant-guarde artist who studied under a legendary New York sculptor. (But can he top Neal’s New York City sandcastle?) JB emerges as a “person of interest” for Peter’s team when several multimillion-dollar forgeries of his mentor’s work appear on the market.

My thoughts: I've always loved Pablo Schreiber on Weeds, so I'm thrilled that he's going to be guest-starring in an episode of White Collar. The plot of Episode 15 of season 4 sounds very interesting, so I can't wait to see the episode.

Weeds: Casts Natasha Lyonne in the Series Finale-TVLine
According to TVLine's Kimberly Roots, Natasha Lyonne has been cast in a guest-star role for the series finale of Weeds. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Lyonne's role and the series finale:
Lyonne, who recently guest-starred on New Girl and Law & Order: SVU, will play a character named Tiffani, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She’ll show up in the Showtime dramedy’s final episode, a two-parter slated for Sept. 16.
The details we do have about the series’ parting shot come from reliable sources: star Mary-Louise Parker and creator Jenji Kohan. Kohan recently told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills that the hour would be “a trip down memory lane” featuring characters from the series’ eight seasons.
Parker, who at the press tour said the finale’s script moved her to tears, praised Kohan’s masterful touch. “She didn’t make it a ‘happily ever after thing,’” the actress said, “but there was hope in it and there was some sort of benediction.”

My thoughts: I loved Natasha Lyonne in American Pie, so I'm excited to see her in the series finale of Weeds. The fact that Weeds is ending is a very bittersweet occasion for me personally for several reasons. Weeds is one of my top favorite shows, so I'm really sad to see it coming to an end. On the other hand, a part of me also thinks it's time for the show end. Finally, Weeds was actually the first show that I ever wrote a review for. I wrote a review of the show's first season for a creative writing class that I took my junior year of high school, and that's a part of why it's sad for me personally that the show is ending.

Revenge: Returns With a Blast from Emily's Past, a Lady Love for Nolan and One Big, Bad Mama-TVLine
Here are some spoilers from TVLine's Vlada Gelman on what will be happening with Emily, Daniel, Nolan, Jack and Emily's mother in season 2 of Revenge:
EMILY | After getting burned just as she was about to confess her feelings to Jack, Emily will be back to her closed-off ways. “She’s spent a lot of time trying to keep her feelings at bay and cauterize them [at the start of Season 2],” previews Kelley. But a face from the past — played by British actor Barry Sloane — who resurfaces in the Hamptons will expose a new side of the revenge-seeking gal’s heart – and maybe some secrets. “It’ll be a really satisfying exploration of who Emily was when she was turning into Emily Thorne,” shares the EP. (As it turns out, this mystery man was going through an identity transformation of his own when he met Amanda. “It [was] very volatile. They [were] very angry kids, and they’re both from the same situation,” says Kelley. “They’ve lost similar things, and they [came] together.”
DANIEL | “He still misses Emily,” Josh Bowman reports. “She broke his heart, and nothing’s been the same since. He’s back to that give-a-s–t party guy. … But his conscience is still guilt-ridden because of his mother. He’s very weighed down.” That, however, won’t stop him from getting involved with social climber Ashley — though their “relationship” will be much more about lustful feelings than real ones. “He using her just as much as she’s using him,” explains the actor. “His body might be [with her] at times, but mentally he’s in a different realm.”
NOLAN | Everyone’s favorite prepster is getting some lovin’! “We’re bringing in a female love interest,” reveals Kelley. And like with the Nolan/Tyler storyline, the EP doesn’t believe viewers “are going to blink [an eye]” at the billionaire’s new romance. “He’s quite open about whatever he is. I think it’s about the person who’s in front of him.” Meanwhile, Nolan and Emily will be “very much together” as a team, says Mann. “We are definitely in it to win it at this point. I would do anything for her, including compromise my own safety and, to a degree, my own morals.” And now that the show is in its second season, it’ll be expanding its scope to explore Nolan’s own story. “You’re going to find out much more about his background,” hints Mann. “We will start to live maybe a little bit more in the world of Nolcorp.”
JACK | Will the ever-loyal bartender be suspicious about the paternity of Fauxmanda’s rapidly growing baby, which in the season opener is just weeks away from being born? “There’s no way he doesn’t have questions,” says Nick Wechsler. “But his obligation is making him turn a blind eye to certain things.” That said, “At a certain point, he’s going to have to face it.” As for whether torn-apart lovebirds Jack and Emily will have a moment in the premiere, he replies, “No in word, yes in deed” — meaning, expect lots more secret glances. Adds Mann, “Emily [VanCamp] and Nick Wechsler had me crying watching the monitor yesterday. And that was just the first day [of shooting].”
MAMA CLARKE | “As [Emily] learns more and more about what exactly happened and who’s at stake, things evolve,” says Kelley. “The world this year gets much bigger.” To that end, the show will introduce a very major new character in Emily’s mother, to be played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. “She’s one of my very favorite actresses,” gushes the EP. “I was pretty much floored when her representation called and said she’s a huge fan of the show and asked, ‘What do you think about her for the mother?’ I said, ‘How fast can we get this done?’ She can do Single White Female all over this show! We’ll take it!”

My thoughts: After reading these spoilers, I personally am really excited to see what's going to be happening with Emily and Nolan this season. I'm also really excited about Jennifer Jason Leigh being cast as Emily's mom. I've always loved Jennifer Jason Leigh whenever she has guest-starred on Weeds. I also think it's cool that Nolan will be getting a love interest in season 2. That should definitely be interesting. I'm still upset that Amanda came back in the season finale and that Margarita Levieva will be sticking around for at least seven episodes in season 2. I can't stand the character Amanda, and Margarita Levieva annoys the hell out of me when it comes to her acting.

Revenge: Casts Emily’s Mom—Look Who Scored the Plum Role!-TVLine
According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Jennifer Jason Leigh has been cast as Emily's mother on Revenge. The role is a recurring guest-star role, and she will first appear early in the second season. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Leigh's role:
“This [character] is going to have some deep psychological issues,” Revenge creator Mike Kelley told TVLine back in May. “So we’re going to need somebody that can play volatile and dangerous; all of the scariest parts of Emily’s personality are going to be present and apparent and a little bit out of control in her mother. But at the same time, what works so great for Emily is that sweet façade, so this woman needs to feel like she’s got potential for kindness. You look at her and you don’t know that she’s as damaged as she is inside. But you’ll quickly learn that this is a very dangerous person.”

My thoughts: I have say that Jennifer Jason Leigh being cast as Emily's mother comes a complete surprise to me given how much I've heard people talk about the possibility of Elizabeth Mitchell or Marcia Gay Harden being cast as Emily's mother. I was really expecting Elizabeth or Marcia to get the part. I've always loved Jennifer Jason Leigh on Weeds, so I'm not definitely not disappointed that she's been cast as Emily's mother though. I'm simply very surprised by this casting news, because Jennifer Jason Leigh wasn't an actress that I had even thought of when I was thinking about who I thought should play Emily's mother. That being said, I'm sure that Jennifer Jason Leigh will do a great job playing the part, because based on her work on Weeds, I think she's a fantastic actress.

Hunter in Hollywood, Calif.: I absolutely loved the season premiere of Weeds! I had a hunch it was going to be Nancy, but the shooter was still a huge mystery to me!
More like a game of Clue! We were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was an all-grown-up Tim, in the bushes with the rifle. Phew! Glad to finally say that out loud, but we're forgetting what this show is really about: weed! In next week's episode not only do we see a pretty significant time jump, we also meet Nancy's newest competitor and he's quite the clown. Not to worry, in true Botwin style she'll wipe that painted smile off his face quicker than you can say "balloon animal."

Weeds: Andy and Jill related scoop on season 8 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos
Here's some scoop on Weeds from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat Daily for Thursday 6/28/12.
Nate in Yorba Linda, Calif: I'd like some Weeds please!
Ask and you shall receive! Get ready to see a lot more of Jill this season, Nancy's neurotic yet hilarious little sister. Remember back in season five when she and Andy had a brief but intense…erm…fling? Well, now that the Botwin-Price-Grey group has moved into their mansion-esque compound in Old Sandwich, Conn. (not a real place, bee-tee-dubs) the shooting causes these two to revisit their feelings for one another. In a very inappropriate place we might add.

Trust us: Go with the excited feelings. We just watched the season eight premiere, and we're pleased to announce that the Botwins are back and better than ever! Not only do you find out in the first ten seconds exactly who was shot, but in the last ten seconds you learn the identity of the shooter. Dun-dun-dun! Talk about a blast from the past! Although we're keeping our lips sealed on the details of "Messy," we will tell you there is a really sweet bromance scene between Silas and Shane that will remind you of their times in Agrestic. "You can't miss the bear!" Ahh memories.

Question: Ausi, help me! I just watched all seven seasons of Weeds in 11 days and now I’m desperate for anything you can dig up on the eighth and final season! —Nathan
Ausiello: Seven seasons in 11 days? Are you high?! (The classics never go out of style.) Nancy spends much of the July 1 opener fighting for her life in the wake of that cliffhanger shooting, leaving her friends and family to grieve in their own special way — two of ‘em have sex in her hospital room while she’s unconscious and a third feels her up (also while she’s unconscious).

Girls: Details on the season 2 premiere-TVLine
TVLine Megan Masters is reporting that according to exec producer Judd Apatow, Girls‘ second season is slated to debut in January on HBO.

My thoughts: I don't have HBO, because there are only a couple of shows on HBO that I like to watch, namely True Blood, so I never felt like I watched enough shows on HBO to justify paying for an HBO subscription every month; unlike Showtime, which has a lot of of my favorite shows on it, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Shameless, and Californication to name a few, so I have a subscription to Showtime. The only way that I can usually watch shows that air on HBO is by buying the DVD sets of them. I've heard a lot of really great things about Girls, and I've read a lot of good reviews for the show, so I really want to see it. I hope they don't wait too long to release the first season of Girls on DVD.
