The Lying Game: Scoop on the possibility of the show being renewed from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 3/20/13.

Any word on The Lying Game renewal? This delay is making me nervous! — B.A.
No word yet, according to Andy Buckley, but he is feeling confident. “Technically they have a month to tell us, but I tend to think they will pick us up,” he says. “I would be very surprised [if we didn’t].”

The Lying Game: Laurel and Jordan related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from this week's (Posted on 2/12/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I need some scoop on The Lying Game! Any new love interests on the horizon for Laurel now that Jordan is out of the picture? —Stacie
Ausiello: Who says Jordan is out of the picture? Certainly not Allie Gonino (aka Laurel), who tells us the twosome “end up doing something together” in the very near future. “It’s not anything serious,” she clarifies. “Laurel just goes along with it.” OK, sounds like he is out of the picture. Regardless, Gonino says Laurel is “pretty apathetic” about romance at the moment, adding, “She’s a strong girl. I don’t think she seeks validation or associates who she is with whatever guy she’s involved with. She’s kind of just along for the ride.”

The Lying Game: Emma, Sutton and Derek related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from this week's (Posted on 1/8/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Big-picture Lying Game question — do the producers envision a show where both twins are out in the open? —Tara
Ausiello: Big-picture answer: Yes. “I don’t want to say exactly, but from the very beginning we’ve called it The Twin Show, and that’s the logical next thing to happen,” explains exec producer Chuck Pratt Jr. “You’ll see in this season we’ve kind of already accomplished that. [Emma and Sutton] are in more scenes together than they’ve ever been; one’s living in secret and they switch back and forth a couple of times. So, we really feel like we’re already doing it. When the story of the past and what happened to Derek and all of that comes out, at some point they’ll have to find out. Mads found out [last season], and other people are going to find out this season until it gets to the point of, well, who doesn’t know? We just want to make sure we’ve gotten the most we can out of The Prince and the Pauper before we move into The Parent Trap.”

The Lying Game: Laurel related scoop on season 2 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from this week's (Posted on 12/18/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I was wondering if you have any scoop on The Lying Game. — Kristi
Ausiello: In fact, I do — straight from showrunner Chuck Pratt. “Laurel’s music will propel her into the beginning of the season,” he says, “but then Laurel’s going to take on a whole new dynamic in the show. She’ll become more of a force and an equal with Mads. She and Emma really start to bond, too, which will cause Emma problems because she’s lying to her.” If it sounds like the boss is a Laurel fan, it should. “One of our goals was to bring her to more of the forefront and really feature her this season,” he admits, “because we just think the world of [her portrayer] Allie Gonino.”

The Lying Game: Scoop on the season 2 premiere (Episode 2x01 "The Revengers") from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/17/12.

When will the adults find out about the twins? #TheLyingGame — @JcanTediBear
Well, as season 1 revealed, Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) and Alec (Adrian Pasdar) definitely know more than they let on, so I guess it’s just Kristin (Helen Slater) and Ted (Andy Buckley) that we’re waiting on. And based off what I saw in the season premiere, the pair couldn’t be more oblivious. I can’t blame them, though. With their marriage in rocky times, much of their focus is going toward trying to be civil. Surprise!: It doesn’t work.

Any Lying Game spoilers? — Bonnie
The Mercer household is going to open its doors to a friend in need, and if you thought the Rebecca-is-the-mother reveal was big, be prepared for a moment at the end of the season premiere that will knock your socks off! It involves a family connection you won’t see coming.

The Lying Game: Rebecca related scoop on season 2 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 8/30/12.

The Lying Game | While speaking with Charisma Carpenter about her new gig for Investigation Discovery, I ran by her what TLG castmate Andy Buckley recently told me, that Rebecca will be pulling many strings during Season 2. “She is a puppet master,” she responded (with a certain amount of pride). “She’s got her fingers in everybody’s lives.” Carpenter said that when the show returns this winter, with only 10 days having passed on screen, viewers will see how Sutton came to learn of her true birth mother as well as why the two women are keeping the news under wraps (“It’s for Emma’s protection…. The less people who know, the better”). As for Rebecca’s nascent marriage to Alec (Adrian Pasdar), Carpenter laughed, “Well, he’s in jail [for Derek's murder], so it’s not going that well! But he’s a very smart man, so I’m not worried about him. But [as Rebecca] I’m worried for myself, so I’d rather keep him in jail!”

The Lying Game: More scoop on the season 2 premiere from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from this week's (Posted on 7/3/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any Lying Game scoop?! —Georgia
Ausiello: Although it may seem like fans are enduring an epic poem between seasons — even now, Season 2 is only penciled in for “winter” — I can exclusively report that only 10 days will have passed since the events of the freshman finale, which included Alec’s arrest for suspicion of murder and the reveal that Rebecca is the twins’ mother. Adrian Pasdar, who plays Alec (as well as portrays POTUS in USA’s Political Animals, debuting July 15) recently lunched with Lying Game EP Chuck Pratt, and tells us, “It sounds like [Season 2] is going to go in a direction that nobody is going to expect.”

The Lying Game: Season 2 Preview--Charisma Carpenter-TVLine

Here's an article by TVLine's Megan Masters, which gives a preview of season 2 of The Lying Game with some scoop directly from Charisma Carpenter. Here's an excerpt from the article:

The producers haven’t yet revealed everything to Carpenter, but she’s certain of one thing: Rebecca is getting her Emily Thorne on in a major way.

“I suspect [her agenda is] revenge,” the actress shared with TVLine at Tuesday’s Thirst Gala in Los Angeles. “Rebecca’s upset from the early years. She flowered and bloomed and came into her own. She found confidence. Now, she’s back to wreak havoc on those that had made her life so hard.”

So, perhaps Rebecca, not unlike her kindred spirit over on Revenge, is at least somewhat in the right? Carpenter says she thinks so. “If there isn’t an element of victimhood, it would be hard to relate to her,” she explained. “Nobody likes coldblooded. There has to be a good reason [for her behavior]. But we don’t know exactly what was done to her” — other than that it’s “related to the fact that Rebecca was forced to give up the twins,” Carpenter teased.

Speaking of the kiddos, it seems as though Carpenter’s mother scorned has unjustifiably taken one daughter under her wing — the evilish Sutton — while naïve Emma remains their unknowing victim.

Carpenter conceded that while it may feel like “she’s ganging up on Emma,” things are probably not what they seem. “She could be playing Sutton.” Added the actress with a laugh, “I just don’t feel that she’s the best mom ever.”

The Lying Game: Charisma Carpenter Nearing a Deal to Become a Series Regular for Season 2-TVLine

According to TVLine's Megan Masters, Charisma Carpenter who played the recurring guest-star role of Annie “Rebecca” Sewell in season 1 of The Lying Game is finalizing a deal to become a series regular for season 2. Here's an excerpt from the original article, which give some details on Carpenter's promotion:

Given the manner in which the finale wrapped — Spoiler Alert: It was revealed that Rebecca is the twins’ mom — Carpenter’s expanded presence in Lying Game‘s upcoming sophomore season would seem imperative.

Lying Game Season 2 is due to premiere this winter. Carpenter, meanwhile, can next be seen on the big screen in The Expendables 2, which hits theaters Aug. 16.

The Lying Game: Scoop on the season 2 premiere from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Lying Game from this week's (Posted on 6/12/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Okay, so I’m 27 years old, but I will admit that ABC Family’s The Lying Game is quickly moving up my list of favorite television obsessions. Don’t judge me! Can you give me any scoop? —Gina
Ausiello: I just turned 40 and still collect Smurfs, so I think you’re good. Here’s a Lying Game scooplet: There will be a time jump between Seasons 1 and 2, but it will be teensy. We’re talking a few seconds, which, technically, still qualifies as a time jump in my book. (Said book, How to Make a Lame Scoop Sound Much More Exciting Than It Actually Is During the Dog Days of Summer, is due out around Christmas.)

Photos: Charisma Carpenter Joins The Lying Game Season 1-TVLine

ABC Family’s addictive The Lying Game resumes its freshman run on Monday, Jan. 2 at 9/8c, and with it comes the addition of beloved Whedonverse alumna Charisma Carpenter as Char’s mysterious aunt Rebecca Sewell, whose sudden return to town rattles the über-secretive Ted and Alec — and TVLine has your exclusive first look at the lovely lady in action opposite Adrian Pasdar.

No word on what Rebecca’s agenda is — or whether her slight resemblance to Sutton and Emma could be a plot point — but expect to see her and Alec to take an interest in one another pretty early on.

“She comes on as a foxy lady and stirs up some trouble,” series lead Alexandra Chando told TVLine’s Inside Line earlier this month. “She definitely has a past with Alec and Ted (played by Andy Buckley), and that’s revealed as soon as she sees both of them.”

Matt's Inside Line Scoop-Vampire Diaries, Chuck, Good Wife, Criminal MInds-TVLine

What has Vampire Diaries‘ Stefan been up to? Is Will bitter over his break-up with Good mom Alicia? What’s nudes with Chuck and Sarah? Read on for those answers, plus other teases from TV’s hottest shows.

The Vampire Diaries | Let’s start by dipping into the mailbag and helping fans of this CW drama cope a bit with the holiday hiatus. Amy asks, “Can you give me any TVD scoop? Specifically, Caroline and/or Stefan scoop?” Amy, here is exec producer Julie Plec’s holiday gift to you: “When the show returns [on Jan. 5], Stefan has been MIA since he stole Klaus’s family coffins, but we’ll learn he’s been busy trying to figure out a way to stay one step ahead of Klaus. When Elena and Damon finally have the opportunity to confront him about his recent actions, his response makes Damon think twice about acting on his feelings for Elena.” Caroline, meanwhile, doesn’t resurface until Jan. 12, when, Plec says, “she and Tyler come to terms with their recent breakup and what Tyler’s sire bond means for their future. Oh, and it’s her 18th birthday!”

Criminal Minds | Iris tweeted at me, “Can you get some scoop on the 150th episode? Need more ‘intense plane scene’ deets!” Well, the milestone hour, as TVLine previously scooped, guest-stars Dina Meyer (Birds of Prey) as a rape victim who takes into custody her own suspect (The Shield‘s Jay Karnes), leaving the BAU to determine A) if she got it right and B) what to do with this lady vigilante. As exec producer Erica Messer explains, “We took a typical episode where the good guys find the bad guys and put it on its head. We’ve got a victim who thinks she’s found her offender… but she may be holding the wrong man captive.” As for the “intense plane scene” Iris alluded to, I am hearing that it’s not so much intense as… different.

The Good Wife | In the wake of Alicia breaking up with Will, there’ve been a lot of questions, so I went digging around for answers. For starters, an insider tells me, yes, Will was in fact set to become a “commitment” guy and be there for Alicia when she gave him the hook. And though she cut him off at the pass, I am assured that Will will not be bitter – in part because, in his heart, he knows it’s best for the firm. As for those of you fretting that Good Wife will now amp up the flirtation between Will and newbie Caitlin (played by Anna Camp), I hear that will not be the case – if only because, my source notes, “Will is going to have a lot going on” with the State’s Attorney’s investigation and eventual legal action against him.

Chuck | If a guest-starring turn by Community‘s Danny Pudi isn’t enough to make you check out this Friday’s episode, know that significant skin will also be on display as Chuck and Sarah go undercover at nudist colony — and that created quite a challenge for Zachary Levi, who also directed the hour. “When I read the script the first time, I thought, ‘How the hell am I supposed to do this?!” Levi relates. “I haven’t seen this done on television before. Well, I have, but Game of Thrones is not really throwing blur boxes on it — and thank God for that.” The bigger challenge may have been sporting the (sparse) wardrobe. As series cocreator Chris Fedak quips, “I was like, ‘Zach’s robe is shorter than Yvonne’s. We made a mistake here.’”

The Lying Game | Speaking with series star Alexandra Chando at ABC Family’s Winter Wonderland party, I was sure to ask for the 411 on Char’s aunt, Annie Sewell, to be played by Buffyverse alum Charisma Carpenter. “She comes on as a foxy lady and stirs up some trouble,” Chando teased. “She definitely has a past with Alec (Adrian Pasdar) and Ted (Andy Buckley), and that’s revealed as soon as she sees both of them.” I then shared my take that the resemblance between Carpenter and Chando should not go unnoticed on the show. In fact, could this Annie be Emma and Sutton’s real mom? “I don’t know, maybe…,” Chando shrugged. “She very well could be!” (Lying Game returns Jan. 2.)

Against the Wall | I’ve had some readers ask if this Lifetime drama will be renewed for a second season, and as of Tuesday, Treat Williams claimed to not have “the faintest idea.” With a nod to the drama’s so-so ratings, he said, “[Lifetime is] a corporation and they’re going to make money, and if the show helps them, we’re on; if the show doesn’t, we’re not on…. If you look at the numbers, we were very much on the fence.” Whatever the outcome, Williams said, “I loved working there and it is a great cast to be with. But as an actor you just have to sit on the river and go with the flow.”

Casting About…. | Maybe the American Horror Story season finale won’t be as ugly as Taissa Farmiga makes it sound? The show’s final, yet-to-be-filled guest-starring role for Season 1 is “Helen,” a Jewish beautician. Let’s hope the shampoo girl is good at rinsing out blood…. 30 Rock, which launches its new season on Jan. 12, will be flashing back to Jack’s childhood, and as such is looking to cast a younger version of Emmy winner Elaine Stritch (who plays mom to Alec Baldwin). Applicants should probably have a Words With Friends account.

Spoilers for Revenge, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, Gossip Girl and other shows from E! Online

Here are some spoilers for Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Cougar Town, Glee, The Lying Game, The Mentalist, Nikita, American Horror Story, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, Psych, The Walking Dead, Bones, Raising Hope, Ringer and Suburgatory from Kristin Dos Santos' spoiler chat collumn for the week. I've included a link to the full article in case anyone wants to read the entire article.

@Marleyakatroy: #revenge scoop!
Revenge is taking a cue from its sister show Once Upon a Time and drawing from fairy tales for inspiration. OK, not really, but Nolan (Gabriel Mann) is the Hamptons' version of the little boy who cried wolf, at least according to Jack (Nick Wechsler). "I continue to try and advise him, but he doesn't want to listen to me anymore," Mann tells us. "I gave him terrible advice as far as he's concerned, but this time he really, really, really should listen to me." Hmmm…we're guessing this has to do with the real Emily Thorne (Margarita Levieva) setting her sights on Jack.

essenceofjay: Revenge question! Will the Real Emily tell Jack that she's 'Amanda'? I don't like those two getting close…
Nor do we, but close they are going to get! The show is currently casting a darkly handsome tattooed local named Lee who will come between "Jack and Amanda." Something tells us the Amanda they are talking about is not played by Emily VanCamp…

Meghan: Revenge is my new favorite show! I'm obsessed. Anything you can share?
Prepare for even more flashback goodness, including "clumsy '90s" Nolan! "Oh, flashback a plenty, yes," Mann says. "Lots of flashback coming. In episode nine, you're going to start to see more of Nolan in the past." Mann says he's excited for the writers "to connect the dots from the person that he was early in that business, and how he made that money, to the person that you see now."

Rebecca: Is Cougar Town in danger?
Depends who you ask. ABC did not put the show on its midseason schedule, as you probably heard, but I'm told by multiple show and network sources that the series will most definitely return this season. Just a bit later than expected. I'm told Cougar Town's return date will be announced in January at ABC's day during the Television Critics Association Press Tour. Also hearing some awesome things about the new season, including a very funny storyline for Sarah Chalke and a plot that sends a main character to the hospital.

@pinsleric: excited about Sam's return on Glee. Got any info on that?
We are hearing that Sam will still be after Mercedes! Amber Riley, get ready for a Trouty Mouth closing in for a smooch! We don't want to get you overly excited, but let's just say we'll be getting tons of scoop on Chord Overstreet's big return to Glee real soon. And we'll be getting it from someone very, very close to the situation. As in, he is the situation.

dancelikeheya: Anything Brittana related??
Brittany (Heather Morris) is definitely there for her girl Santana (Naya Rivera) during her "coming out tour," as we've started to call it. Yes, Santana will be coming out to more than one person in the next episode: Sue (Jane Lynch), Becky (Lauren Potter), and most importantly…her Grandmother. And we anticipate Brittana fans will be smiling so hard at those two during that scene that their faces will be sore the next day. Also, looks like it's time to put all that Finn vs. Santana nonsense behind us, because the pair (Sinn? Fanta?) reconcile in this weeek's episode.

Casey in Chicago, Ill.: What can you tell us about Glee's big Christmas episode?
Well, Matthew Morrison is directing it, and while he tells us that everyone was definitely in the Christmas spirit, he didn't take his directing gig lightly. "[The first person I directed was] Jane Lynch," he says. "I came over and she says, 'Before you say anything, I would just like to remind you that I have an Emmy and I was just nominated for a People's Choice Award.'" And what directing note was he going to give her? "Bring it down a bit. No, I'm just kidding!" He better be, because we don't want to live in a world where Sue Sylvester "brings it down."

troyenne: Do you have anything on Rachel from Glee? Especially if it has something to do with Shelby or Quinn?
This has nothing to do with Shelby or Quinn, but we have to share with this with you guys. We just caught wind of a scene involving Rachel (Lea Michele) and Sam that we simply cannot wait to see. It may or may not involve dancing. OK, it does.

OnceUponaTimeFR: We saw Snow White, Cinderella and soon Belle will arrive. Which other Fairy princesses can we expect on OUAT?
While we're not sure which princesses will be making appearance in Storybrooke soon, we do know the show is currently casting a "beautiful, alluring and seductive" woman to play the siren. It's almost impossibly for any man to ignore her temptations and we hear she may set her sights on a certain charming man.

Noelle: Some Once Upon a Time scoop would be great! Thanks!
Remember Dr. Whale (David Anders), David's slimy doc who was in cahoots with Regina (Lana Parrilla)? We'll soon learn who he was in the fairy tale realm. Speculate away!

Nick: I do not approve of anyone dying on Once Upon a Time! Any hints?!
We love all the characters so we're bummed to see anyone go…but that doesn't mean it isn't happening. We can officially eliminate Henry and Ruby from the guessing game. Also, Don't forget to vote in our OUAT death pool!

Jessi_RS: Any scoop on The Lying Game's Ethan and Emma? Thanks.
From what we're hearing, Ethan (Blair Redford) and Emma (Alexandra Chando) will be going strong when the ABC Family show returns, much to her (or, you know, Sutton's) father Ted's (Andy Buckley) dismay. In fact, the couple is going so strong, there's a moment so cute in episode 13 that might just melt fans' hearts. Also, the show is currently casting a love interest, named Ryan, for Mads (Alice Greczyn).

Carin in Arnhem, Gelderland: Anything on The Mentalist? It's been so long since we were given any clue on where this season is going.
Not sure if this bit of Mentalist scoop will tell you exactly where this season is going, but it's something…so you'll take what you can get! An upcoming episode of the Simon Baker procedural will have our team entering a truly dangerous and dark world: the world of fashion. We're worried about Jane dealing with those models; how could he possibly concentrate on the details when everything is so…fake?

Jane in Columbus, Ohio: I need me some Nikita!
When we talked with our new favorite boy scout Sean, aka Dillon Casey, he told us that Nikita's fall finale is going to be quite the game of Russian roulette. "Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) is going to discover some sketchy things about her family that might produce some inner-conflicts within her and maybe not so black and white within her world anymore." Hopefully Sean will be there for Alex and their long-awaited love will finally bloom. Yay!

Rachel in Tenn.: I loved your article with Dillon Casey, he seems like such a cool guy!
Cool? No way, hot is more like it. In fact Dillon is just so steamy that he is forgoing clothes in the Nikita winter premiere. "I'm pretty much shirtless the entire episode so that should be exciting. I just got a brand new tan, and I'm doing the Navy SEAL workout." Um…yes please! Not only will we get to see some serious eye-candy on January 6th, the episode is supposed to be heart-pounding. Casey teases, "It's amazing; I get goosebumps reading it."

kristenmichele: PLEASE tell me we haven't seen the last of Zachary Quinto and Teddy Sears on #AmericanHorrorStory. I love them!!
We love them more! Sorry, it's not a contest. But we are overjoyed to report that we see them again in this week's episode of AHS, titled "Rubber Man." We'll get a real, um, in-depth insight into Chad (Quinto) and Patrick's (Sears) relationship and where/why it started to go wrong. And we get to see Quinto in head-to-toe latex, which is pretty awesome. But is he the mysterious Rubber Man who slept with Vivien (Connie Britton)? That is something we cannot spoil. But just know that it's a truly killer reveal.

Jeanette in Northville, Mich.: This week's AHS looks soooo good. I'll take any scoop you got!
One of our favorite parts of "Rubber Man?" Kate Freaking Mara. She makes a sensational return as Hayden, Ben's (Dylan McDermott) jilted ex-lover haunting the house. She's very popular with the other ghosts in the house. Almost like…a puppet-master. Her role in the episode raises some very interesting questions.

Lisa: Thanks for all the Gossip Girl scoop! Any other tidbits from the 100th episode party?
Kaylee DeFer
(Ivy/Charlie) tells us: "I think Max desperately wants to expose Ivy. Whether or not he's successful, I don't know if he has the chops. But I think she's interested in Van Der Woodsens. She doesn't care much about Nate or Max. I think she is just more so all about the family than anything else at this point." When asked if she thinks Nate and Ivy would make a good couple, Kaylee tells us: "I think so. I think that she is kind of a hopeless romantic and he is in his sense as well. I think they'd be a great couple, plus I really would like to work with Chace. I love working with Chace, so I think that would be awesome."

hezzy76: oh for the love of all things hot please anything vampire diaries!
You want hot? Then hot is what you shall get! The show is currently looking for a handsome, tall and physically imposing guy to take on the possibly recurring role of Finn (Glee shout-out?!). While he's quiet, Finn does have a dark side. Any casting suggestions! Hit us up in the comments!

@hockeygirl1171: anything on The Big Bang Theory??
Mayim Bialik
tells us that when it comes to Amy and Sheldon, you ain't seen nothing yet! And yes, it pains us to write a double negative, but we're so distracted by the BBT emotional roller coaster we've been on this season that we don't care! "It's been a really big season," Bialik says. "There's been a lot of movement for Jim Parson's character and mine. There are some upcoming episodes that are dipping a toe into a lot of new emotions for them both and I've even been surprised, so it's going to be fun."

@jvento: Please give us some Psych or Covert Affairs scoop! My USA shows need some love. :)
You obviously have excellent taste, but we've got some bittersweet news for you. Dec. 6 marks the second-season finale of Covert Affairs, and it's a real tear-jerker—especially for Auggie-Annie shippers. After receiving some terrible news, Auggie (Christopher Gorham) abandons Annie (Piper Perabo) along with his hope for a different future. Sadface! At least we have Psych to cheer us up: Its midseason finale (Dec. 14 ), "Neil Simon's Lover's Retreat," serves up a double serving of 9021-awesome with original Beverly Hills star Jason Priestley guesting alongside the relaunched series' Lori Loughlin.

Rob627: Walking Dead scoop?
If you thought certain storylines were dragging out more slowly than a Walker without legs, you'll appreciate the conclusion to Sunday's midseason finale—once (if?) you recover from the shock, that is. And Daryl (Norman Reedus)—that ol' softie—has officially lost his title as the group's volatile killer to Shane (Jon Bernthal) and his rage.

Wes in Los Gatos, Calif: Bones!
The Dec. 1 episode, "The Male in the Mail," will be a real treat for longtime fans of Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz). There is a scene at the end between those two that is so moving and so touching, if you aren't at the very least tearing up, you are a robot and we must find and kill you before you take over the planet! And then of course there is this line: "Do you mind if I spend the whole evening naked?"

Quinn in Sadieville, Ky: Raising Hope scoop please! Preferably Sabrina and Jimmy. :)
Last week we told you all about Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina's (Shannon Woodward) mischievously cute moments pretending to be husband and wife in the Thanksgiving episode. You're welcome! But now it's looking like Jimmy doesn't want to stop playing make-believe. In episode 14, "Jimmy's Fake Girlfriend," the single dad meets Stephie, an improv actress who looks a lot like Sabrina. Hmmm, could we be smelling the faint scent of jealousy in the air? Hopefully this look-a-like will be the final tipping point that the real Sabrina needs to realize that she and Jimmy are positively perfect together.

@coley2020 Heard there was a character death on #Ringer. Any idea who it is?
We recently chatted with Ioan Gruffudd and he leads us to believe that rumor is false, "I can't imagine there will be anybody disappearing at the moment. We'll be discovering a lot of new things about other characters that were led down a certain path and we weren't sure what was going to happen." Speaking of disappearing characters, Ioan teases that Siobhan (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is not long gone, "I think it is going to be inevitable that she comes back at this point, I think it is going to be hard to sustain that. If you keep watching, there will be something juicy in the next couple of weeks." Ohhh, can't wait to see what it is!

Olivia in Hartford, Conn: Suburgtory is by far my favorite new show and it keeps getting better!
Well then get ready because guess what?! Ms. Evans is coming to Suburgatory! (Nope, sorry gleeks, she's not Sam's mom.) She's a super funny and totally hip poetry teacher from San Francisco and in Tessa's (Jane Levy) eyes she can do no wrong. We'll be seeing Tessa jump at any chance to please her new Chatswin faculty fave in episode 16, "Poetic Injustice."

Alexandra in Salt Lake City, Utah: Anything on Suburgatory would be superb!
Gobble gobble Suburbanites! It's Thanksgiving in Chatswin, but Tessa (Jane Levy) has left her heart and appetite back in Manhattan, though when she decides to go back for a visit she discovers a shocking secret. Meanwhile, Lisa Shay (Allie Grant) is trying to win her first argument with her mom (Anna Gasteyer) and our abs are now sore from laughing so hard. But the most hilarious moments are definitely the brief interactions between Dalia (Carly Cahikin) and new puppy Yakult and, in case you were wondering, Yakult is named after a pro-biotic drink and is "some kind of doodle." Bottom-line: you don't want to miss this episode.

The Lying Game Casts Charisma Carpenter in Season 1A, Patricia Cornwell Guest Stars on Criminal Minds-TVLine

Fresh off her celebrated visit to Supernatural, Whedonverse alum Charisma Carpenter has landed a recurring role on the upcoming season of ABC Family’s The Lying Game, playing Char’s aunt Rebecca aka “Annie, ” TVGuide.com reports. The nickname might be slightly confusing for viewers given the fact that it’s also the name of the twins’ long-lost birth mother, but rest assured these two are vastly different women.

If you’re wondering if anything will be made of Carpenter’s slight resemblance to series lead Alexandra Chando, a source tells us that Rebecca will factor into the larger mystery of who the twins’ birth mother is.

Ready for more of today’s TV dish? Well…

• Crime novelist Patricia Cornwell (she of the sometimes literally mouth-watering Kay Scarpetta series) will guest-star on CBS’ Criminal Minds as herself, TVLine has confirmed. In the hit procedural’s Jan. 18 episode, Cornwell will be seen speaking at the “2012 Great Lakes Violent Crime Seminar” in Chicago, before she introduces Reid (played by Matthew Gray Gubler) as the next speaker.

• One Life to Live creator Agnes Nixon will guest-star this January on the sudser before it ends its run on ABC, TV Guide Magazine reports. The soap opera legend is set to play Agnes Dixon, the creator of One Life‘s soap-within-a-soap, Fraternity Row.

• Mary Steenburgen has landed a multi-ep arc on NBC’s 30 Rock, playing Charlotte, “the highly spirited and attractive” mother of Elizabeth Banks’ Avery, per EW.com. 30 Rock returns with new episodes at midseason.

• And just like that, all is right with the world… ABC’s Suburgatory has officially promoted Ana Gasteyer to series regular, EW.com reports. The Saturday Night Live vet had been recurring on the quirky freshman comedy as George and Tessa’s nosy neighbor, Sheila.

• Showtime has renewed the docu-series The Real L Word for a third season, which for the first time will go bi(-coastal), shooting in both Los Angeles and New York.

• Syndicated game show Family Feud has been renewed through 2015, per The Hollywood Reporter. Comedian Steve Harvey currently acts as host.

ABC Family Renews Make it or Break It, Orders More Lying Game and Cancels Chloe King-TVLine

In a surprise move, ABC Family is mounting another season of its gymnastics drama Make it or Break It. Additionally, the network has given a 12-episode back-order to one freshman series (The Lying Game) and canceled another (The Nine Lives of Chloe King).

“ABC Family expanded its schedule to present three nights of original programming this summer, and we saw our most successful on record, one that gave us our very own ‘triple-threat’ — Switched at Birth, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Pretty Little Liars,” said ABC Family prez Michael Riley. “Joining this group of series will be another season of Make It or Break It, just in time to ignite Olympic fever, and a back-order of The Lying Game. Our momentum continues to grow, and I’m thrilled with the strength of our schedule which includes a great mix of returning favorites, breakout series and what are sure to be new hits.”

Spoiler Chat: Exclusive Scoop on Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Glee and More! - E! Online

Here's some scoop from Kristin Dos Santos' weekly spoiler chat column for the week on various TV shows. There are more shows that Kristin Dos Santos gave scoop on this week, but I decided to only post the questions pertaining to the TV shows that I blog about in this post. I've included a link to the full article at the bottom of the page for anyone who wants to read it.

Rebecca: What can you tell us about Dan and Blair? Or Chuck and Blair? Is there any hope for either?
Not hearing of anything the works for Dan and Blair, and it quite honestly pains me to tell you that! But Chuck and Blair fans, there is some good news for you. Aside from what I've mentioned about Blair's feelings for Chuck being quite the issue with her fiance prince, I can also tell you that despite the photo above, which looks like a meet cute between the Chuckster and a new love interest, a source tells me this little gem of good news: Chuck does not have any sort of new love interest in the works. At least not early on in the season. Cause to celebrate, mayhaps?

rrrrrrroxanne: Is it true that Blaine will be joining the New Directions? #GLEE
Let's just say Darren Criss has already been spotted at McKinley High with his boy Kurt (Chris Colfer) not in his Dalton uniform. First step transfer. Next step…New Directions!

redfox1998: any wemma scoop will do...seriously....anything you've got.
Er, call this scoop Wemma-adjacent. Flashback time! Glee is looking for someone to play a young Emma (Jayma Mays). It'll probably be a quick flashback, because this Emma won't have any lines. Maybe we'll finally get some insight into why Emma is the way she is. How about this for some speculation (you know how we love to do that): Emma is spilling to Will (Matthew Morrison) about her past. She cries. He cries. They hug and kiss. Then get married. The end!

MamatoMicah: We haven't heard anything about Finn in season 3! I want to make sure Cory's cute mug keeps gracing my TV!
Don't worry, Cory Monteith's cute mug isn't going anywhere! He's one-half of one of the most fan-obsessed couples on TV right now! But what's even better news is the fact that we hear he'll be getting lots of solo storylines…meaning stuff that has to do with being just Finn, and not half of Finchel.

Monica: Hey, any scoop on Lauren Graham on Parenthood? I'm slightly obsessed with her.
Get in line. Sources tell me that Lauren's character Sarah will be doing a very good deed in the coming season: Helping her ex Seth, aka John Corbett, find his way back to rehab. (Poor dude really just never got over Carrie! Oh wait, wrong show.) Corbett's back for multiple episodes and I'm hearing great things about the storyline. Word is the scenes with Lauren and John could be some of the best ever on the show.

Phoebe in Northville, Mich.: I love Rachel Bilson! Do you have anything on Hart of Dixie?
I'll be on the set of Hart of Dixie this week, so to answer you question with another question: Would you send us your Q's for the cast? Hit the comments or tweet me @kristindsantos. I'll probably tweet out a photo of me trying to break into Scott Porter's dressing room cause that's how this FNL fan rolls.

OTHMIOBIFreak: OTH scoop please, After CMM and Barbara Alyn Woods returning, any chance Ashley Rickards that played Sam in s6 might too?
When we chatted with the Awkward. star, she told us:"I would definitely be open to coming back for some sort of closure for Sam, absolutely. It would be wonderful to go back there because I kept in touch with everybody. I talked to Hilary [Burton] about a week ago." But has she been approached to return to Tree Hill? "I'm still waiting on my contract for Avatar 4," she jokes, "So we'll see."

Cathy: One Tree Hill's final season is going to be epic! Any scoop?
Now that Chad Michael Murray is coming back, season nine is indeed going to be epic. According to Tyler Hilton, creator Mark Schwahn is going all out. "One of the reasons why I am such a fan of this last season is because Mark said that last season he thought it might be the last season, so he ended it the way fans wanted it to end," he tells us. "This season he knows it is going to be the last season, and since he already kind of gave the fans their season last time, he said that he really wants to make this season what he wants. He said that since the show is done after this season, he has no one to impress, he can just do whatever he wants." Mark Schwahn writing without anyone holding him back? OTH's final season is going to be cray-cray!

Suzanne in Portland, Ore.: Modern Family? Can't wait for it to come back!
Get your chaps ready, because the season premiere is all about the Wild West. "The family went to a dude ranch and there are going to be a lot of surprises in that episode," Nolan Gould tells us. What kind of surprises? Well, Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) wants to capture the memory of the dude ranch by posing with guns, and Phil (Ty Burrell) takes up the fine art of skeet shooting. We also hear there's going to be some truly authentic-looking cowboy gear involved.

wingster55: What major couple will be splitting on Parks and Recreation?
Not Andy and April. As far as we know, there are no current plans to split 'em up. So that's something?

Lance in Orlando, Fla.: Anything on Happy Endings? Particularly on my favorite non-couple: Max and Penny?
Remember when Max (Adam Pally) and Penny (Casey Wilson) were "double Snooki's" for Halloween? Prepare for another double costume in a big Halloween episode this season. Wilson wouldn't give us any hints on what the costumes entail, but she seemed borderline giddy over it. Can't wait!

Moira in Nashville, Tenn.: What do you know about Megan Mullally's episode of Happy Endings?
Three words: song and dance. One more word: duet. A few more words: The Happy Endings people sent their food truck to our place of business to feed us today so I am changing this column title to "Watch Happy Endings with Kristin." Everyone's cool with that, right? I'm easy.

ParisDreamer93: The Lying Game—any news??? Please please please! I'm shamelessly obsessed :)
Remember that smokin' hot (and slightly rude) ballet teacher Eduardo (Rick Malambri)? Expect Nisha (Sharon Pierre-Louis) to put the moves on him when she goes to the studio for dance lessons, something her tennis coach is forcing her to do. The ice queen doesn't mind working on her footwork quite as much after Eduardo agrees to give her private lessons.

haustonst: What can you tell me about Secret Circle that hasn't been told yet?
Hmm...How about that fans of the original book series (written by L.J. Smith) may see some familiar faces pop up in unexpected ways? "I think it's a really fun way to introduce characters, especially for people who love the book series," executive producer Andrew Miller tells us. "We'll definitely do that." Black John, perhaps? "We might incorporate a character like Black John," Miller teases. "He might be renamed."

secret_circle: Any Secret Circle goodies?
A key difference between TSC and Vampire Diaries? Cassie (Britt Robertson) isn't exactly a goody two-shoes like Elena (Nina Dobrev). Cassie falling in love with Adam (Thomas Dekker), even though she shouldn't, "brings her into these dark feelings in herself," Miller explains. "We start this journey with Cassie between good and evil inside herself that relates to her mom and dad."

Maureen: Will Alison Brie be back on Mad Men next season?
Seems very likely! Alison Brie coyly tells us: "I've heard that I may be able to get back over there and so that's good news. I'm excited that that's seeming to work out." So did she blab about Trudy Campbell's role on the award-winning drama? Nope. Brie remains tight-lipped: "I'm just terrified. I'm really not allowed to say anything else."

Kb_toyzz: Any hints on Degrassi? ;)
After Thursday's sure-to-be intense finale, fans can get their next Degrassi fix in October when TeenNick will air a one-hour Halloween special. What can fans expect from Mr. Eli Goldsworthy (Munro Chambers)? "That's like his New Year's," Munro teases. "He does New Year's on Halloween." Sounds like a party!

zindzijade: can you help ease some concerns for Brenda on The Closer? please? thank you!
Wish we could, but it sounds like Brenda is in for a rocky season. "This whole season is about this lawsuit and Brenda operating under this specter of this lawsuit that she is responsible for," Kyra Sedgwick tells us. "So I think that that takes its toll on her, but I don't know how [the show] will finally, finally end." But here's some silver lining: looks like Brenda and Fritz will not be on the fritz. (We love puns!) "Well, I think Brenda and Fritz stay together," Jon Tenney says. "I don't know what's going to happen with Fritz, that's all up in the air. But I would like to believe that Brenda and Fritz stay together." So would we, Jon.

Harrison: Can. Not. Wait. For The Vampire Diaries to return. Can you tell us what's up with Jeremy seeing the dead chicks? How long will they be on? And does this mean things are over with Bonnie?
Nothing like some "dead chicks" to really liven up the place, eh? I'm hearing some very good things about that storyline—It's gonna be twisty and turny and cool. Also hearing Malese Jow (Anna) and Kayla Ewell (Vicki) will be in about a handful of episodes (somewhere around six) and they will be recurring throughout the season. So you'll get some fun "dead chick" splashes there for a while, but they won't be around enough to muck things up with Bonnie. Win-win-win.

brandon120: Is there going to be paintball this year on Community?
We think there is always going to be a special place for paintball on Community but Yvette Nicole Brown tells us the first episodes of the season are less zombies and space shuttles and more "grounded." She dishes: "I think they are going to take some time now and find out why these people are friends...There've been quieter but more intensive adventures." Quiet intensive adventures you say? We think this calls for a Dungeons and Dragons redux! Oh, and speaking of "quieter" and "grounded," we also heard from our friend Joel McHale that there was a turtle on set last week. Sorry, forgot the major spoiler alert warning on that one! Is the whole season ruined?
