possibility
Steph: Love that Jessica Lange is coming back to American Horror Story for the third season, but is there any chance that my bb Zachary Quinto would be on next season, too?
Chances are good, because Quinto told us that he's loved working on AHS and he's sure that Ryan Murphy is cooking something up. "I haven't talked to Ryan because there's a lot going on his world right now, obviously," he tells us. "But I'm sure I'll connect with him soon to hear what his thoughts are. I've had a blast this season." #BBQ (bring back Quinto!)

American Horror Story: Asylum | Now that [SPOILER ALERT!] the identity of Bloody Face has been revealed, prepare to get inside the murderous maniac’s head – as well as a few others. The next episode, titled “The Origins of Monstrosity,” “really dives into a lot of the roots of the characters in this world,” says Zachary Quinto, who plays the duplicitous Dr. Thredson, “so a lot of things will become clearer and probably even more disturbing.” Having played an owner of Season 1′s Murder House and now a vile shrink, is Quinto up for a third turn on the FX drama à la Jessica Lange? “I’m sure I’ll get a call at some point,” he ventures.

Question: Any intel on Zachary Quinto’s character on the second season of American Horror Story? Is he a patient? —Jordan
Ausiello: Negatory. He’s a doctor in the asylum — and a sane one at that! Asked to compare his new alter ego to his Season 1 character of Chad, Quinto says, “He’s much more grounded and in control.”

American Horror Story: Casts Clea Duvall in Season 2-TVLine
According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Clea Duvall has signed a deal to appear in several episodes of the second season of American Horror Story. Here's an excerpt from the article:
There’s no official word on who she’ll be playing, but an insider says Duvall will appear in scenes with returning co-star Sarah Paulson.
Horror Story‘s second season — which started shooting on Tuesday — will be set in the 1960s at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane run by Jessica Lange.
Other new faces on tap for Season 2 of the Emmy nominated hit include Big Love‘s Chloe Sevigny, The Voice‘s Adam Levine, French actress Lizzie Brochere, FlashForward‘s Joseph Fiennes, Oscar nominee James Cromwell, Secret Circle‘s Chris Zylka while Paulson, Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe — who in Season 1 played Constance, Chad, Tate, psychic Billie Dean and doctor’s wife Nora — are all set to return but as new characters.
“Everyone looks so different,” exec producer Ryan Murphy told TVLine on Thursday. “People who were enemies last year are allies this year. The sets are amazing. It’s 1964, so everything looks very different.”
Link to the full article:American Horror Story Casts Clea Duvall -- Season 2 - TVLine
My thoughts: I've never heard of Clea Duvall before, but I have to say that I couldn't be more excited for season 2. The plot for season 2 of American Horror Story sounds very interesting, but I'm especially excited about the fact that Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes, and Zachary Quinto are going to be a part of the cast next season. The whole cast for season 2 is great though.

American Horror Story: Zachary Quinto Back For Season 2-TVLine
According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Zachary Quinto will be returning to American Horror Story for season 2 as a series regular. There aren't too many details on Quinto's role in season 2 that known at the moment other than this quote from the original article:
Details on his new character are scarce, but he will be a nemesis to fellow returnee Jessica Lange.

American Horror Story: Scoop from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos
Here's some scoop on American Horror Story from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat for the week of 1/23/12.
Doug: The new cast of American Horror Story hasn't been announced yet, but do you have any intel on whether the great Zachary Quinto wants to return?
We could not love Z.Q. more, so we're happy to report that yes, Quinto is very up (or is he down? Whatever terms you crazy kids are using) for coming back to AHS for season two. "I had an amazing time and I only did four episodes of the season, so it was just a little bit of an appetizer for me. I would love to work more," he tells us. "We'll see what happens! Next season could get turned on its head completely, but I would love to continue work on that. It was a great experience." Ryan Murphy, are you reading? Bring back Quinto! #BBQ (Ha! Greatest. Hastag. Ever.)

Spoiler Chat: Glee, Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, Revenge and More!-E! Online
A fan-favorite couple may be reuniting, a CW character might meet an untimely end, and an old (dead?) friend is coming back!
These are just three of the juicy little scooplets we have for you in today's roundup of exclusive TV scoop. Plus, did you hear the one about Hugh Laurie quitting TV? We've got that covered too…
@xxLouii anything 90210. Liam and Annie?
Well, if there is no Liam, there can be no Liam and Annie, right? What we're trying to say is…there be a deadly cliffhanger coming up on 90210! "We just filmed the end of our Christmas episode and there is a big cliffhanger coming up with Liam. It's a life or death kind of a thing," Matt Lanter tells us. "He gets physically injured pretty badly, so we're kind of waiting to see if he's coming back." Injured like a broken arm or injured like a broken neck?! "It's pretty serious!" Latner reveals. "He's possibly dead at the end of Christmas break." 90210 without Liam? Nope, we don't like that one bit. Who do you all think is gonna die?
Jackie: You guys have been slacking on the Supernatural scoop lately! Any idea what's coming up on my favorite show?
Bobby's (Jim Beaver) flirting with death after that whole being shot in the head thing that happened last episode. So where does he find himself? Purgatory! Yes, our beloved Bobby will be reliving his life and will come across a dear old friend in the process: Rufus (Steven Williams).
@memetastic: Insert Boring and Obvious Glee question about Boring and Obvious Glee pairing.
Insert vague and intentionally misleading line about boring and obvious Glee pairing. Add in funny jab about said pairing. Beg you to love us. Get shot down. Cry in corner. Finally throw in some scoop: Quinn (Diana Agron) uses a season one tactic to try and "win back" Puck (Mark Salling). And our work here is done.
@beeeez: Glee scoop? What is Rachel's reaction to getting suspended?
Rachel (Lea Michele) takes the punishment for trying to swing the votes in the election very calmly and maturely. Psych! Of course she'll be upset, but if anyone can help her deal with being taken away from show choir, it's her hunky boyfriend Finn (Cory Monteith). Awww….
@imelmooy: Is #Karofsky coming back soon on #Glee? #begging
As far as we know, Max Adler has not filmed anything beyond his cameo in "The First Time." But don't count him out for the back half of the season just yet. After all, Chris Colfer himself told us he'd love to see Kurt and Karofsky having more interaction.
@WemmaLove: How come we never get Wemma?
That's what I'm sayin'! We keep asking our sources for Wemma scoop (over and over!) and they are completely mum (while answering other Q's), which makes me think there's something big in the works. Fingers crossed, anyway!
@chervil: Anything on Once Upon a Time please! When will we found out more about Mr. Gold?
We'll learn more about Mr. Gold (the ah-mah-zing Robert Carlyle), and his fairy-tale counterpart Rumpelstiltskin, in episode eight, penned by Jane Espenson! "Some crucial facts about where Rumpel comes from," are revealed in the episode, Espenson tells us. As for whether or not he's truly evil, that remains to be seen. "He's a wild card," she says. "His ulterior motives are still always very complicated."
@ddwordnerd: Once Upon a Time, please! I am obsessed with this show!
We are too, so clearly, you have flawless taste in television. Congrats! Remember that deal Emma (Jennifer Morrison) made with Mr. Gold? "He's going to hold onto that for a while," Espenson teases. "He's going to make sure that's paid off when he can get the maximum bang."
Margaret: [Spoiler Alert if you haven't seen the last episode!] So, after the last American Horror Story, are we to believe that Zachary Quinto is not Rubber Man? Is it always Tate in the suit?
That's what my source hinted at, so I believe that to be true. However, we do know that Quinto is coming back in a very big way that you won't see coming. In other AHS news, we are off bananas. You?
Sammie: I heard a nasty Internet rumor that Hugh Laurie is done with House. Tell me this is wrong!
The Internet has an awful way of twisting a story into something completely false. And we love it! Except for this one, because House without Hugh Laurie is not a world we want to live in. The correct story is: Laurie recently told the U.K. site Daily Record that he won't do another TV show after House is done. So, he'll still be on House at least until the end of the current season. It's possible the show may go off the air after that.
@FrancesB: More New Girl por favor!
How cute is this BTS photo of Zooey Deschanel learning how to work some serious hand bells? In tomorrow's ep, she teaches some at-risk youths hand bells (because these are the jingle-jangle skills you need to survive the hood, people!) and Winston (Lamorne Morris) joins the group and becomes ultra-competitive, naturally.
@Wendygirl: I am head over heels for New Girl. Scoop please!
Get in line, because I'm fully prepared to make out with that show, and word from a sources is that the Christmas episode is the "best episode yet." Schmidt (Max Greenfield who will always be Deputy Leo, thankyouverymuch) dresses as "Sexy Santa" for his holiday party and everyone goes. Heartwarming ending, too. So who do you think will be the best "sexy" holiday costumer on your TV this season, Max or Katie Holmes (HIMYM's Slutty Pumpkin)? If you have to even think about the answer, take a hard look at yourself.
@roma_7: some Revenge please?
Grandpa Grayson is comin' to town! Yes, Revenge is currently looking for someone to play Donald Grayson (who will first appear in episode 14), an imposing, self-made man who is a little rough around the edges. Donald made his children (including Conrad) work very hard for their share of his fortune as he's a believer in hard work. Seems like just the person to light a fire under Daniel.
Sophia, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla: Bones! Please and thank you!
In this week's episode, Booth (David Boreanaz) is doing his best to keep his feelings under wraps after his grandfather gives him some very troubling news. Meanwhile, the team is busy unwrapping a body that has been sliced, diced and shipped in multiple boxes to the post office. Word to the wise: There are some pretty gruesome guts and squeamish sounds in this episode, so please choose your TV snack carefully. And if you have ever wondered what Corey Matthews look like all grown up then you're in luck! Ben Savage guest stars as a whipped husband who also just so happens to be a murder suspect. Hmmm, wonder what Topanga would think of that…
Lauren in San Clemente, Calif: I need Suburgatory scoop.
There's a new woman coming to Suburgatory in episode 17, "The Black Dalia" and we're getting a strong sense of déjà vu. Tulsa, is Dallas' (Cheryl Hines) sister (sorority sister to be exact) who is beautiful, in great shape, and has a daughter named Talia. Sounding familiar? Well it should. Tusla is extremely competitive when it comes to keeping up with Dallas and we have a feeling that George (Jeremy Sisto) is going to fall prey.
Redlands: How are the ratings on Raising Hope? Do you think it'll survive another season? I love it.
It's doing OK, but needs to hold on to more of New Girl's audience on Tuesday nights (no small feat), so tell yo friends to watch. This week's episode is pretty great…Jimmy and Sabrina develop a baby mop that is way cuter than my ratty old Swiffer.
@fatherdowling: When is Justified coming back? I need my Timothy Olyphant fix now.
Simma down now, girlie. Just for you, FX is bringing the show back Jan. 17 (airing Tuesdays at 10 pm). You are welcome.
@mommydoing: Ringer spoilers might be good!
Would a wedding and another baby be good? 'Cause the show is currently casting several roles for episode 14, including a wedding planner, a dressmaker at a bridal shop and an ob-gyn. Hmmm…the mind reels.
Jessica in San Luis Obispo, Calif: Amy Farrah Fowler and Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Need I say more?
Ooh la la, Shamey fans! We're going to start seeing Sheldon (Jim Parsons) dealing with some new hypotheses, like what gift to buy for your neurobiologist honey? Dr. Cooper will be going to a jewelry store to shop for the perfect present and we're willing to bet our limited edition red light saber (jealous?) that it's gonna make this couple more shmooshy.
@caritogutierrez: How about an early Christmas present in the form of some Modern Family scoop?
We're currently putting the final touches on your gift, big glittery bow and all! We were recently on the set of Modern Family for next Wednesday's Christmas Episode and later this week we'll give you our exclusive behind-the-scenes look. But for now here's a stocking stuffer: Julie Bowen reveals to us, "The family realizes that they are not going to be together for Christmas and they've got six hours to pull it together, so today is the first day of Express Christmas." Oh and Sofia Vergara is in a bikini for the majority of the episode. Too bad they're not gonna get any male viewers with this one. Ahem.
@Hh234: Anything you can tell us about William Shatner's appearance on Psych this week?
Psych stars James Roday and Dulé Hill were over the moon about the Star Trek icon's guest gig as a con man—and Juliet's (Maggie Lawson) father. "William Shatner was absolutely fantastic," Roday told us about Wednesday's episode. "It was the only time in the six-year history of our show we witnessed crew members coming to set with stuff they wanted signed and nervous to talk to someone." "He's a machine," said Dulé. "We felt a little embarrassed, that [an 80-year-old man] has so much energy—the bar has been set." "I can never complain about being tired on set again," J.Ro joked before introducing the cast and crew's new catchphrase: "You just gotta Shat up…I don't care how tired you are or how many hours you spent on set, you just gotta Shat up." Love. It.
Liz: I heard a rumor that Neil Patrick Harris is pushing to get his kids on the show…possibly as Lily and Marshall's new baby?
Here in Hollywood, it's practically a law to believe every rumor you hear, so we say yes to this! Just kidding, Harris shot this down cold on Twitter recently, referring to the baby we saw in last week's episode: "Twas not our daughter on this week's HIMYM. Would never subject her to the rigors of a soundstage. I'm saving her for the pageant circuit."
@lindsx11: The Secret Circle please!
Get ready for someone from Charles (Gale Harold) and Dawn's (Natasha Henstridge) past…one of his ex-girlfriends! Lauren will pop up in episode 13 and while she intimidates Charles' mother, who convinced him to break up with her, she's more than a little intimidated by Dawn. Expect to see Lauren, who is timid but holds dark strength, interact with Diana (Shelley Hennig) as well.
Quinn: I'm dying for some True Blood scoop!
The fangtastic HBO hit is looking to add a few new vampires to the mix in season five. True Blood is currently casting the Authority council members so we're thinking these vamps mean business. Kibwe is gentleman vampire who believes in vampire rehab, while Rosalyn is a Texas fanger with a whole lot of hair. But the most intriguing council member? A 9-year-old vampire named Alexander who loves cigarettes and annoying the rest of the council. Smoking aside, we're stoked for Alexander's debut!
@Brenda33331: Give us something on PLL please!
Prepare for some heartbreak because Pretty Little Liars' core four is breaking apart when the hit show returns in January! About a month has passed since Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) were arrested and they "are at each others' throats!" Meow! Emily in particular has been iced out completely, which might leave her vulnerable to "A."
@ChicaNikki149: One week without #Nikita was bad enough, but a whole month? Please give us some Michael & Nikita scoop before the wait! :)
We hang our heads in shame. But we're totally making up for it! We're actually kidnapping and dragging Maggie Q to our E! headquarters to grill her on what's coming up on Nikita. OK, she's coming voluntarily as a guest, but we are talking to her this week. Better give us some questions to ask Maggie!

American Horror Story Redux: Rubber Man's Identity Revealed! Now What?-E! Online
How did American Horror Story reveal the identity of Rubber Man in the first five minutes, and yet still manage to leave us mystified by the end of the episode?
Tonight's installment, aptly titled "Rubber Man," stayed true to its episode name and gave us pretty much the whole who, what and why of the rubber suit. Plus, someone got shipped off to the loony bin, and wait…
Who got shot?!
WHAT WE LEARNED:
Tate is Rubber Man: There's only so many times you can type "Rubber Man" before you start picturing a super hero. But we digress. Holy crap! Tate (Evan Peters) is the man in the rubber suit! Who called it? Personally, we thought it to be Chad (Zachary Quinto). But he did play his part in the Rubber Man mystery…He's the one who bought the suit to try and please his boyfriend, Patrick (Teddy Sears). The coolest thing about getting the backstory of the suit was flashing back to the pilot, and we found out why Tate put on the suit to have sex with Vivien. That leads us to the other big revelation of the episode…
Babies are the Name of the Game: Why are all the ghosts trippin' in the house? They want a baby! Tate knocked up Vivien (Connie Britton) in an effort to please Nora (Lily Rabe), the original owner of the house who still doesn't quite believe she's dead. Tate murdered Chad and Patrick because they were fighting and no longer trying to get a baby. Hayden (the amazing Kate Mara) is all pissed off because she lost her baby, too. Basically, everyone wants a baby! Wait, correction. Everybody wants Vivien's baby.
So, Hayden and Tate team up to slowly drive her crazy (Emmy nom crazy!) with hauntings and scare tactics so she gets shipped off to a mental hospital. Mission accomplished! But not before Vivien accidentally shot her husband Ben (Dylan McDermott) when she mistook him for an intruder. Whoops. He's fine, of course. But his wife has been institutionalized and his daughter is having sex with a ghost-boy, so…there is that. And that segues us nicely to...
Violet and Tate Get Real Serious: Aw, couldn't you relate to Violet (Taissa Farmiga) having sex for the first time with her ghost boyfriend that also probably knocked up her mom? No? Good, because that'd be weird. During post-sex cuddling, Tate convinces Violet to keep quiet about the ghosts she sees in the house, even though she knows they are real. So when Vivien asks for her daughter to back her up about all the crazy things she's been seeing, Violet feigns ignorance. Kind of a stab in the back, since Vivien gets taken to the mental hospital.
The most telling moment about Violet and Tate? When we flashed back to Tate killing Chad and Patrick, and he says that it's romantic that they died in the house together, because now they'll be together forever. And Tate pushed off Hayden's advances (she complained about the ghost-thing making her extra horny) because he was in love with Violet. Is it possible that if Violet isn't dead already, he'd kill her in the house to stay with her forever?
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Was it Tate in the suit every time we saw Rubber Man?
- Who else is convinced that Violet is dead? We learned tonight that she hasn't been to school in two weeks.
- Will Tate ever tell Violet he (presumably) knocked up her mom?
- Is the gun used to kill Chad and his boyfriend the same one Marcy had?
- Did Britton just lock down her own Emmy-nom for her crazed performance in tonight's episode? We think we know the answer to that one.
- We missed Constance (Jessica Lange). Not a question, but it has to be mentioned.
Demon Baby Time: The birth is coming up real soon, and we know that AHS is casting babies right now, so we'll definitely be seeing at least one normal baby after what will surely be a brutal birth. And the casting notice revealed the sex of the baby, but we won't reveal that. OK, here's a hint: It's either a boy or a girl. Ah, we're such bitches.
Quinto Power: We sure do wish Quinto never left AHS, but our show source eased our fears by revealing that Zach will be back in a "big way." Any ideas what Chad is planning?
More Ghosts to Come: That's probably no surprise to you guys, but it's safe to say that we definitely haven't met everyone who died in that house yet.

Spoilers for Revenge, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, Gossip Girl and other shows from E! Online
Here are some spoilers for Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Cougar Town, Glee, The Lying Game, The Mentalist, Nikita, American Horror Story, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, Psych, The Walking Dead, Bones, Raising Hope, Ringer and Suburgatory from Kristin Dos Santos' spoiler chat collumn for the week. I've included a link to the full article in case anyone wants to read the entire article.
@Marleyakatroy: #revenge scoop!
Revenge is taking a cue from its sister show Once Upon a Time and drawing from fairy tales for inspiration. OK, not really, but Nolan (Gabriel Mann) is the Hamptons' version of the little boy who cried wolf, at least according to Jack (Nick Wechsler). "I continue to try and advise him, but he doesn't want to listen to me anymore," Mann tells us. "I gave him terrible advice as far as he's concerned, but this time he really, really, really should listen to me." Hmmm…we're guessing this has to do with the real Emily Thorne (Margarita Levieva) setting her sights on Jack.
essenceofjay: Revenge question! Will the Real Emily tell Jack that she's 'Amanda'? I don't like those two getting close…
Nor do we, but close they are going to get! The show is currently casting a darkly handsome tattooed local named Lee who will come between "Jack and Amanda." Something tells us the Amanda they are talking about is not played by Emily VanCamp…
Meghan: Revenge is my new favorite show! I'm obsessed. Anything you can share?
Prepare for even more flashback goodness, including "clumsy '90s" Nolan! "Oh, flashback a plenty, yes," Mann says. "Lots of flashback coming. In episode nine, you're going to start to see more of Nolan in the past." Mann says he's excited for the writers "to connect the dots from the person that he was early in that business, and how he made that money, to the person that you see now."
Rebecca: Is Cougar Town in danger?
Depends who you ask. ABC did not put the show on its midseason schedule, as you probably heard, but I'm told by multiple show and network sources that the series will most definitely return this season. Just a bit later than expected. I'm told Cougar Town's return date will be announced in January at ABC's day during the Television Critics Association Press Tour. Also hearing some awesome things about the new season, including a very funny storyline for Sarah Chalke and a plot that sends a main character to the hospital.
@pinsleric: excited about Sam's return on Glee. Got any info on that?
We are hearing that Sam will still be after Mercedes! Amber Riley, get ready for a Trouty Mouth closing in for a smooch! We don't want to get you overly excited, but let's just say we'll be getting tons of scoop on Chord Overstreet's big return to Glee real soon. And we'll be getting it from someone very, very close to the situation. As in, he is the situation.
dancelikeheya: Anything Brittana related??
Brittany (Heather Morris) is definitely there for her girl Santana (Naya Rivera) during her "coming out tour," as we've started to call it. Yes, Santana will be coming out to more than one person in the next episode: Sue (Jane Lynch), Becky (Lauren Potter), and most importantly…her Grandmother. And we anticipate Brittana fans will be smiling so hard at those two during that scene that their faces will be sore the next day. Also, looks like it's time to put all that Finn vs. Santana nonsense behind us, because the pair (Sinn? Fanta?) reconcile in this weeek's episode.
Casey in Chicago, Ill.: What can you tell us about Glee's big Christmas episode?
Well, Matthew Morrison is directing it, and while he tells us that everyone was definitely in the Christmas spirit, he didn't take his directing gig lightly. "[The first person I directed was] Jane Lynch," he says. "I came over and she says, 'Before you say anything, I would just like to remind you that I have an Emmy and I was just nominated for a People's Choice Award.'" And what directing note was he going to give her? "Bring it down a bit. No, I'm just kidding!" He better be, because we don't want to live in a world where Sue Sylvester "brings it down."
troyenne: Do you have anything on Rachel from Glee? Especially if it has something to do with Shelby or Quinn?
This has nothing to do with Shelby or Quinn, but we have to share with this with you guys. We just caught wind of a scene involving Rachel (Lea Michele) and Sam that we simply cannot wait to see. It may or may not involve dancing. OK, it does.
OnceUponaTimeFR: We saw Snow White, Cinderella and soon Belle will arrive. Which other Fairy princesses can we expect on OUAT?
While we're not sure which princesses will be making appearance in Storybrooke soon, we do know the show is currently casting a "beautiful, alluring and seductive" woman to play the siren. It's almost impossibly for any man to ignore her temptations and we hear she may set her sights on a certain charming man.
Noelle: Some Once Upon a Time scoop would be great! Thanks!
Remember Dr. Whale (David Anders), David's slimy doc who was in cahoots with Regina (Lana Parrilla)? We'll soon learn who he was in the fairy tale realm. Speculate away!
Nick: I do not approve of anyone dying on Once Upon a Time! Any hints?!
We love all the characters so we're bummed to see anyone go…but that doesn't mean it isn't happening. We can officially eliminate Henry and Ruby from the guessing game. Also, Don't forget to vote in our OUAT death pool!
Jessi_RS: Any scoop on The Lying Game's Ethan and Emma? Thanks.
From what we're hearing, Ethan (Blair Redford) and Emma (Alexandra Chando) will be going strong when the ABC Family show returns, much to her (or, you know, Sutton's) father Ted's (Andy Buckley) dismay. In fact, the couple is going so strong, there's a moment so cute in episode 13 that might just melt fans' hearts. Also, the show is currently casting a love interest, named Ryan, for Mads (Alice Greczyn).
Carin in Arnhem, Gelderland: Anything on The Mentalist? It's been so long since we were given any clue on where this season is going.
Not sure if this bit of Mentalist scoop will tell you exactly where this season is going, but it's something…so you'll take what you can get! An upcoming episode of the Simon Baker procedural will have our team entering a truly dangerous and dark world: the world of fashion. We're worried about Jane dealing with those models; how could he possibly concentrate on the details when everything is so…fake?
Jane in Columbus, Ohio: I need me some Nikita!
When we talked with our new favorite boy scout Sean, aka Dillon Casey, he told us that Nikita's fall finale is going to be quite the game of Russian roulette. "Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) is going to discover some sketchy things about her family that might produce some inner-conflicts within her and maybe not so black and white within her world anymore." Hopefully Sean will be there for Alex and their long-awaited love will finally bloom. Yay!
Rachel in Tenn.: I loved your article with Dillon Casey, he seems like such a cool guy!
Cool? No way, hot is more like it. In fact Dillon is just so steamy that he is forgoing clothes in the Nikita winter premiere. "I'm pretty much shirtless the entire episode so that should be exciting. I just got a brand new tan, and I'm doing the Navy SEAL workout." Um…yes please! Not only will we get to see some serious eye-candy on January 6th, the episode is supposed to be heart-pounding. Casey teases, "It's amazing; I get goosebumps reading it."
kristenmichele: PLEASE tell me we haven't seen the last of Zachary Quinto and Teddy Sears on#AmericanHorrorStory. I love them!!
We love them more! Sorry, it's not a contest. But we are overjoyed to report that we see them again in this week's episode of AHS, titled "Rubber Man." We'll get a real, um, in-depth insight into Chad (Quinto) and Patrick's (Sears) relationship and where/why it started to go wrong. And we get to see Quinto in head-to-toe latex, which is pretty awesome. But is he the mysterious Rubber Man who slept with Vivien (Connie Britton)? That is something we cannot spoil. But just know that it's a truly killer reveal.
Jeanette in Northville, Mich.: This week's AHS looks soooo good. I'll take any scoop you got!
One of our favorite parts of "Rubber Man?" Kate Freaking Mara. She makes a sensational return as Hayden, Ben's (Dylan McDermott) jilted ex-lover haunting the house. She's very popular with the other ghosts in the house. Almost like…a puppet-master. Her role in the episode raises some very interesting questions.
Lisa: Thanks for all the Gossip Girl scoop! Any other tidbits from the 100th episode party?
Kaylee DeFer (Ivy/Charlie) tells us: "I think Max desperately wants to expose Ivy. Whether or not he's successful, I don't know if he has the chops. But I think she's interested in Van Der Woodsens. She doesn't care much about Nate or Max. I think she is just more so all about the family than anything else at this point." When asked if she thinks Nate and Ivy would make a good couple, Kaylee tells us: "I think so. I think that she is kind of a hopeless romantic and he is in his sense as well. I think they'd be a great couple, plus I really would like to work with Chace. I love working with Chace, so I think that would be awesome."
hezzy76: oh for the love of all things hot please anything vampire diaries!
You want hot? Then hot is what you shall get! The show is currently looking for a handsome, tall and physically imposing guy to take on the possibly recurring role of Finn (Glee shout-out?!). While he's quiet, Finn does have a dark side. Any casting suggestions! Hit us up in the comments!
@hockeygirl1171: anything on The Big Bang Theory??
Mayim Bialik tells us that when it comes to Amy and Sheldon, you ain't seen nothing yet! And yes, it pains us to write a double negative, but we're so distracted by the BBT emotional roller coaster we've been on this season that we don't care! "It's been a really big season," Bialik says. "There's been a lot of movement for Jim Parson's character and mine. There are some upcoming episodes that are dipping a toe into a lot of new emotions for them both and I've even been surprised, so it's going to be fun."
@jvento: Please give us some Psych or Covert Affairs scoop! My USA shows need some love. :)
You obviously have excellent taste, but we've got some bittersweet news for you. Dec. 6 marks the second-season finale of Covert Affairs, and it's a real tear-jerker—especially for Auggie-Annie shippers. After receiving some terrible news, Auggie (Christopher Gorham) abandons Annie (Piper Perabo) along with his hope for a different future. Sadface! At least we have Psych to cheer us up: Its midseason finale (Dec. 14 ), "Neil Simon's Lover's Retreat," serves up a double serving of 9021-awesome with original Beverly Hills star Jason Priestley guesting alongside the relaunched series' Lori Loughlin.
Rob627: Walking Dead scoop?
If you thought certain storylines were dragging out more slowly than a Walker without legs, you'll appreciate the conclusion to Sunday's midseason finale—once (if?) you recover from the shock, that is. And Daryl (Norman Reedus)—that ol' softie—has officially lost his title as the group's volatile killer to Shane (Jon Bernthal) and his rage.
Wes in Los Gatos, Calif: Bones!
The Dec. 1 episode, "The Male in the Mail," will be a real treat for longtime fans of Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz). There is a scene at the end between those two that is so moving and so touching, if you aren't at the very least tearing up, you are a robot and we must find and kill you before you take over the planet! And then of course there is this line: "Do you mind if I spend the whole evening naked?"
Quinn in Sadieville, Ky: Raising Hope scoop please! Preferably Sabrina and Jimmy. :)
Last week we told you all about Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina's (Shannon Woodward) mischievously cute moments pretending to be husband and wife in the Thanksgiving episode. You're welcome! But now it's looking like Jimmy doesn't want to stop playing make-believe. In episode 14, "Jimmy's Fake Girlfriend," the single dad meets Stephie, an improv actress who looks a lot like Sabrina. Hmmm, could we be smelling the faint scent of jealousy in the air? Hopefully this look-a-like will be the final tipping point that the real Sabrina needs to realize that she and Jimmy are positively perfect together.
@coley2020 Heard there was a character death on#Ringer. Any idea who it is?
We recently chatted with Ioan Gruffudd and he leads us to believe that rumor is false, "I can't imagine there will be anybody disappearing at the moment. We'll be discovering a lot of new things about other characters that were led down a certain path and we weren't sure what was going to happen." Speaking of disappearing characters, Ioan teases that Siobhan (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is not long gone, "I think it is going to be inevitable that she comes back at this point, I think it is going to be hard to sustain that. If you keep watching, there will be something juicy in the next couple of weeks." Ohhh, can't wait to see what it is!
Olivia in Hartford, Conn: Suburgtory is by far my favorite new show and it keeps getting better!
Well then get ready because guess what?! Ms. Evans is coming to Suburgatory! (Nope, sorry gleeks, she's not Sam's mom.) She's a super funny and totally hip poetry teacher from San Francisco and in Tessa's (Jane Levy) eyes she can do no wrong. We'll be seeing Tessa jump at any chance to please her new Chatswin faculty fave in episode 16, "Poetic Injustice."
Alexandra in Salt Lake City, Utah: Anything on Suburgatory would be superb!
Gobble gobble Suburbanites! It's Thanksgiving in Chatswin, but Tessa (Jane Levy) has left her heart and appetite back in Manhattan, though when she decides to go back for a visit she discovers a shocking secret. Meanwhile, Lisa Shay (Allie Grant) is trying to win her first argument with her mom (Anna Gasteyer) and our abs are now sore from laughing so hard. But the most hilarious moments are definitely the brief interactions between Dalia (Carly Cahikin) and new puppy Yakult and, in case you were wondering, Yakult is named after a pro-biotic drink and is "some kind of doodle." Bottom-line: you don't want to miss this episode.

@Marleyakatroy: #revenge scoop!
"I came over and she says, 'Before you say anything, I would just like to remind you that I have an Emmy and I was just nominated for a People's Choice Award.'" 'American Horror Story': Tate is on my last twisted nerve-From Inside the Box-Zap2it
"Halloween, Part 2" sure had a lot to live up to - and it more than did.
In the world of Violet and Tate, Tate takes Violet out for a date and they are suddenly harassed by all these high schoolers with horrible wounds. Who knew right away they had to be the ghosts of the kids he shot up? *raises hand* Who did NOT know it was going to be from roughly 18 years before? *raises hand* Having already guessed Tate was Constance's son, I should've done the math on that one, but I did not, so I was pleasantly surprised by the twist when the cheerleader said she should be 34 years old.
So - Tate's a ghost? Are we all in agreement on that front?
For Ben and Vivien, their night of horrors is plagued by Burned Man and Hayden. Hayden's sole purpose is to tell Vivien the truth about Ben and the trip to Boston. She is pretty distraught to hear that Vivien is with child. In the end, Vivien kicks Ben out.
Do you think we've seen the last of Hayden after she disappeared out of the security guard's car? And how many episodes do you think it is until Vivien starts sleeping with the officer? My money might actually be on next week.
It appears for Constance that Addie really is dead, which is a shame because the Jamie Brewer-Jessica Lange scenes provided some of the most twisted and yet poignant (and also well-acted) scenes of the show. We're assuming she won't come back as a ghost since Constance couldn't get her to the lawn in time, but fingers crossed.
Thoughts & Tidbts
- The dog in the microwave thing was an awesome ploy by Hayden (and by extension, the writers). Totally freaked me out, I screamed right out loud along with Connie Britton.
- Love the "ghosts can leave the house on Halloween" thing. Here's hoping next year (because "AHS" got renewed for a second season) they can get Zachary Quinto back because he rules everything, all the time.
- I wonder who the hand under Violet's bed was...

American Horror Story Redux: Hayden Wreaks Some Havoc! And Tate's True Colors Come Out-E! Online
Happy Halloween again, horror fans! Tonight was the second half of American Horror Story's spooky Halloween extravaganza, and it was all about finding out what Hayden (Kate Mara) was up to now, and finding out what Tate (Evan Peters) had been up to in the past.
All the secrets finally came out, so let's break down "Halloween, Part 2," and reveal some secrets of our own concerning what's ahead for the folks on AHS…
WHAT LIES AHEAD
Hayden Be Crazy, Yo! We knew that already, but the whole putting-the-dog-in-the-microwave, stealing-Vivien's-bath (the nerve) and threatening-to-"cut out"-Vivien's-baby thing put her above and beyond a regular jilted ex. But her stalking Ben (Dylan McDermott) and Vivien (Connie Britton) made for the creepiest moments of the show, and we loved seeing Connie at her bitchiest. In the creepy basement, Hayden begged Ben to let his wife know the truth about everything. Larry (Denis O'Hare) decides to just hit him over the head with a shovel (he's really good at that), and while Ben lies unconscious and tied up, Hayden heads upstairs to "deal with" Vivien.
The ghost of Nora Montgomery (Lily Rabe) shows up to untie Ben so he can "save the baby," and he makes it upstairs just as Hayden is about to stab Vivien with a shard of glass. Ben ends up spilling everything to his wife: the affair, knocking up Hayden and the trip to the abortion clinic. He did leave out one thing, though: Hayden was once buried under their gazebo. Who else thinks that'll eventually come up? The hunky security guard bursts in and drags Hayden away, but she disappears from the backseat of his cop car because, duh, she's a ghost.
Tate Has a Secret of His Own: Tate takes Violet (Taissa Farmiga) out for a little date on the beach, and they seemed to really be connecting. Until a group of teenagers who appear to be zombies (blood, wounds, etc.) show up to have a word with Tate. Apparently, they are pissed at him for something. Tate swears he doesn't know who they are, but they keep popping up to haunt him. So they're ghosts of Tate's past, basically. Finally, it's revealed what Tate did to them: the school shooting fantasy from the pilot? Maybe not a fantasy. Sounds like Tate actually did shoot up a school in the past. One of the ghosts tells Tate that she should be 34 with kids by now. Does that make Tate a ghost since he's still a teenager? And why can't he remember doing that when these ghosts clearly remember every detail? The good news is that Ashley Rickards, who plays one of the ghosts, is scheduled to appear in more episodes, so hopefully they'll all be back to give us more answers.
Well, one thing we did find out for sure about Tate: He is Constance's (Jessica Lange) son, which she tells Violet later on while blaming her for Addie's death. She also makes Violet swear to not tell Tate about the death of his sister because it would destroy him. By the end of the episode, the ghosts of the house all return to their stomping grounds, right as the sun is coming up. Just another evening with the Harmon family.
BURNING QUESTIONS
- What will Vivien do now that she knows the truth about Ben?
- Is Hayden going to continue to torment the Harmons?
- Seriously, what's the deal with Vivien and the security guard?
- Why can't Tate remember his past?
More Quinto for Everyone: He really lost it in this episode, but we saw him and his boyfriend coming back to the house at the end of the ep, so we know he's going to be around for a bit longer. Which makes everybody happy. We hear he'll be playing a much bigger part in the Harmons' path to uncovering the secrets of the house, plus Chad (Zachary Quinto) has other pals who will come around for a visit.
Meet Larry's Family: Or at least his daughters. You remember that Larry's loved ones were also victims of the house, right? They'll be coming around again soon.
Legal Troubles: There are some AHS fans who have this theory that it was Constance who ran her daughter over in last week's episode. Now we're not confirming or denying that, but this scrap of casting might sway you one way: AHS is looking for someone to play Constance's appointed attorney. Of course, there are tons of legal issues Constance could find herself involved with, so we're just spitballin'.

American Horror Story Redux: Another Death, Baby Drama and Ghostly Visitors! Plus, Scoop on "Part 2"-E! Online
Happy Halloween! And wow, did American Horror Story roll out the tricks and the treats tonight.
In tonight's episode, "Halloween: Part 1," the theme was all about the legend that All Hallow's Eve was a chance for the dead to walk the earth. So, we got to meet more past occupants of the house (Hi Zachary Quinto!), and Hayden (Kate Mara) rose up to pay an unfriendly visit to Ben (Dylan McDermott). Plus, a major character gets killed off! And that's only "Part 1."
But don't we worry, we have plenty of scoop on "Part 2"…

WHAT WE LEARNED:
Vivien's Baby Is Dangerous: Clearly Vivien (Connie Britton) has a latex-demon baby growing inside of her. When the 8-week old fetus already started kicking (very Breaking Dawn of AHS), Ben took his wife to the hospital. The nurse insisted that the kicking was impossible, but when she looked at the ultrasound monitor, she asked Vivien if she was sure of the timeline. Then the nurse passed out from whatever she saw on the screen. Did we get to see it? No. Blast! But maybe that's for another time.
Constance Does Have a Heart: She may be evil and always plotting something, but how could your heart not break for Constance when her daughter Addy (Jamie Brewer) was hit by that car while trick-or-treating? Constance (Jessica Lange) was so overwhelmed with grief, and she tried to fix the situation by dragging Addy's lifeless body towards the Harmon yard. The supernatural qualities of that house keep piling up. Alas, it seems that Addy is indeed dead for good. At least we got another Emmy-worthy performance by Lange out of the tragic scene.
Quinto Is a Friendly Ghost. Hayden Is Not: We told you in today's preview post that Chad (Quinto) and his boyfriend were actually pretty friendly ghosts. And they were, for the most part. They hung out with the Harmons and helped them decorate for Halloween so the house can sell faster. Quinto of course crushed his role of a sassy and bitter scorned man, and we are deliriously excited for more of him. As for unfriendly ghosts, Hayden popped up at the front door at the very end of the episode wearing what was one of the creepiest smiles we've ever seen. Yep, she's back. And she's pissed.

You know who else is not a friendly ghost? The demon baby from the pilot, Infantata (Ben Woolf). Turns out, in the 1920s, crazy doc Charles Montgomery (Matt Ross) and his wife, Nora (Lily Rabe) had their baby kidnapped and murdered by the boyfriend of one of their poor abortion patients. The doctor put his Frankenstein complex to "good" use by stitching up the remains of his dead offspring, who is probably still haunting the basement to this day.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Was it just us or is there something between Vivien and the security guard?
- Is Addy really dead?
- What else do Chad and his boyfriend want with the Harmons?
- The latex man is back! What/who is that thing?
Hayden Is as Unhinged as It Gets: If Quinto was this ep's star, then Mara is the shining light of "Part 2." She is brilliant as the dissed and crazy ghost of Ben's past, and she does all kinds of creepy things to freak out Vivien. Think bathtubs, urban legends, phone calls…the whole nine yards.

Tate Gets a Lot More Interesting: Or confusing. Depends on how you look at it. The point is, ghosts pay Tate (Evan Peters) a visit in the next episode and they are pissed for something he did to them. Hmmm, now what could ghosts possibly be angry about?
Ben Is Losing It: He's got a girlfriend haunting him, and he's not even sure that she's dead. He's also got Larry (Denis O'Hare) still up in his grill, and a wife who is being stalked by an ex-lover. We don't blame him for going insane, but through it all, he promises one thing to his wife: "I am not giving up on this family!" Does he keep that promise? Tune in next Wednesday to find out.

By hitting us with a two-part episode full of "gotcha!" scares, sharp plot twists and the great Zachary Quinto. Now that's a combination we can really get behind. We've watched both episodes (the second will air this Sunday), and we wanted to prepare you correctly by answering some burning questions you might have about the episode, including telling you what's in store for the mysterious Tate…

AHS, whose pilot episode was recently crowned the number one series premiere in FX history, has put together a truly intriguing and deliciously creepy Halloween extravaganza that makes for one of the most entertaining two hours of television ever. Seriously, so much happens that we find it necessary to give you a bit of a preview to prepare you properly. Here are some questions we can answer right now:
How awesome is Zachary Quinto in the episodes? Very awesome. So awesome, in fact, that we need a new word for his performance. How about: stupendulous! Zach's character, Chad, and his boyfriend are ghosts, but they're definitely the friendliest ones we've dealt with so far. Of course, he doesn't stay friendly.
Anymore info about the history of the house? And how! We go back to the 1920s again to get more backstory on the original owners of the house. And you remember that ghoulish baby-like creature from the pilot? We find out his connection to the house, and how he got there.
How does Tate fit into everything? Tate gets a big storyline this episode, and there are some huge reveals that make you rethink everything you know about his character. One revelation we kind of saw coming, but another one was totally out of left field, and we can't wait to see where AHS goes with it.
Need even more scoop? OK, but don't say we never did anything for you:

- Someone dies. Well, that's not new for AHS. But death comes to a pretty major character this time around. And it's both shocking and sad.
- Vivien gets another clue that something is wrong with her baby.
- There's a nod to an urban legend.
- Ghosts, ghosts, and more ghosts! And Ashley Rickards from Awkward/One Tree Hill is one of them. She's wonderfully creepy, and this won't be her last episode.
- Like we told you last week, Hayden is back full force, and she is very unhinged. Her only wish? To tell Vivien everything.

American Horror Story Ranks as Top Series Premiere in FX History-TVLine
The final Live+7 numbers have been crunched and American Horror Story has officially surpassed The Shield as FX’s No. 1 series premiere ever among adults 18-49.
“These final numbers confirm, without question, that the series premiere was a bona fide success,” said FX prez John Landgraf. “While the ratings for the premiere episode were outstanding, it’s even more impressive that the third episode delivered higher numbers than the premiere. I tip my hat to the producers, our amazing cast and crew, especially to Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk who are proven hitmakers.”
The news comes as AHS is set to air the first of a special two-part Halloween-themed event, guest starring Zachary Quinto. For more on that, check out this week’s Ask Ausiello.

Zachary Quinto: I'm a Gay Man-Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide
When discussing his recent eight-month stint playing Louis Ironson — a man who abandons his AIDS-stricken boyfriend — in Angels in America, the former Heroes star called the role "the most challenging thing I've ever done as an actor and the most rewarding," but also says it opened his eyes. "And at the same time, as a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed."
Check out photos of Zachary Quinto
Quinto refers to himself as a gay man later in the interview when asked about the bullying and subsequent suicide of gay teenager Jamey Rodemeyer. "And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there's a hopelessness that surrounds it, but as a human being I look at it and say 'Why? Where's this disparity coming from, and why can't we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?' We're terrified of facing ourselves."
Speculation about his sexuality has been rampant since the 34-year-old actor rose to stardom on Heroes. However, an interview in The New York Times last year said that Quinto "prefers not to feed the rumor mill with either substantiation or dismissal."
Quinto, also known playing for Spock in the rebooted Star Trek franchise, currently plays a gay man (albeit, a dead one) on FX's American Horror Story. He can also be seen in the romantic comedy What's Your Number?
