Once Upon a Time: Regina and Zelena related scoop on the second half of season 7 from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/whMmGtlp2iM/mqdefault.jpg

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

What can you tease for Once Upon a Time? — Kara
Regina is going to need all the help she can get, hence Zelena will basically be forced to come back to Hyperion Heights with her. “The drive for the back half of the season is for Zelena and Regina to figure out the way to save Lucy, save Henry’s poisoned heart and break the curse,” EP Edward Kitsis teases. But upon their return to town, viewers will discover an interesting tidbit about the sisters’ past cursed feud, which you can spot in a blink-and-you’ll-miss it scene in the promo for the show’s return.

Do you have Chicago Fire scoop? — Daniela
Here’s a little tidbit to tide you over until the New Year: “Boden and Casey are going to share a lot more screen time in the rest of the season as Casey contemplates moving his office to the end of the hall like Boden,” executive producer Derek Haas tells me.

The Blacklist: Scoop on how Liz will deal with the aftermath of Tom's death from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/the-blacklist-fall-finale.jpg?w=620&h=420&crop=1

Here's some scoop on The Blacklist from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

Anything on The Blacklist? — Nancy
It should come as no surprise that Liz Keen is out for blood in the wake of Tom’s death, which will send her down a dark path when the show returns. “She’s really driven by this anger and resentment and yes, she wants revenge for the people who ruined her family,” Megan Boone says. “That’s the only thing that gets her up in the morning and it’s what drives her through the day. I don’t really think that there’s any going back from that.”

Here's some scoop on New Girl from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

Have any New Girl scoop? — Anna
You may have heard that there will be a roughly three-year time jump when the show picks back up — and trust me when I tell you that a lot has happened in that intervening time. In fact, we’ll quickly see the funeral for the death of a beloved character that will bring back many familiar faces from the past six seasons. (But don’t worry, in typical New Girl fashion, the service will be more hilariously heartfelt than heart-tugging.)

Here's some scoop on How to Get Away with Murder from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

What’s next for Annalise on How to Get Away with Murder? — Don
Now that she knows the truth about who killed Wes, Annalise’s redemption tour may be put on hold. “She was really trying to live her life in a controlled, righteous way — the class action, not drinking, going to therapy — and this throws it all for a loop because she’s finding out that Jorge killed Wes, this boy she thought of as her son, so I think she’s going to really be pulled in two directions,” EP Pete Nowalk says. “It’s going to be really fun to see her struggle between her angel and her devil.”

Here's some scoop on 12 Monkeys from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

I will take anything 12 Monkeys for the final season! — Brittany
Remember last season’s amazing rendition of “99 Luftballons”? Well, wait until you see what the final season has in store. I’ll just tease that Emily Hampshire (with EP Terry Matalas and British composer Stephen Barton) actually recorded a song for the final season at Abbey Road — yes, the Abbey Road. As for how it fits into the story, honestly, even if I described the scene in question, you wouldn’t believe me. That’s how delightfully crazy it is.

Here's some scoop on Blindspot from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

Who the heck is Clem on Blindspot? — Rona
This mysterious ally of Jane’s has now been mentioned twice, but we’ve yet to meet him — and don’t expect to meet him until the new year. “Clem was obviously someone Jane worked with during the two-year time gap,” EP Martin Gero explains. “He will play a pivotal role in the back half of the season.”

Fresh Off the Boat: Guest-star related scoop on episode 4x11 "Big Baby" from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Fresh Off the Boat from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

Anything Fresh Off the Boat? — Dana
Here’s some fresh scoop (see what I did there?): The ABC comedy returns Jan. 2 with two big-name guest stars. Cheryl Hines appears as Faye, Honey’s mother, a conservative woman who is opinionated about her daughter’s choices. When she comes to Orlando to help her daughter prepare for her baby, Honey enlists Jessica’s help to buffer against Faye’s meddling and controlling nature. Also, Niecy Nash will appear as Wilhelmina, a “child sage” who teaches a parenting class based on New Age philosophies. She’s calm and centered with an awkward sense of humor. I’d put good money on these two roles being connected.

Marvel's Runaways: Molly related scoop from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c2/Runaways_logo.jpg/250px-Runaways_logo.jpg

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Runaways from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

Molly’s not really gone on Marvel’s Runaways, right? — Percy
Let me toss this one to EP Josh Schwartz: “Nope, that’s the end of Molly, you’ll never see Molly again. It was a hell of a run with Allegra [Acosta], we wish her the best.” Relax! He’s kidding. We’ll see Molly again, but her temporary exit serves as a warning to the others. “It’ll make the threat very real to the rest of the Runaways,” Schwartz says. “They’re going to know that Molly gets sent off in the middle of the night, that the pressure is mounting, tensions are rising and the noose is tightening.”

Here's some scoop on The Gifted from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/21/17.

What do you have on The Gifted? — Catherine
When the show returns, Polaris experiences some surprising side effects from her pregnancy — and when she does, comic-book devotees should be able to spot a visual homage to a signature flourish from legendary X-Men artist Jack Kirby. The return hour has a number of other visual and canonical Easter eggs for the fans, and if viewers tweet their Easter egg finds to @GiftedTVWriters during the Jan. 1 broadcast, they promise some mutant Twitter love for the viewer with the sharpest eyes.

A.P. Bio (NBC): Promo (HD) (Glenn Howerton comedy series)

Here's a promo for the upcoming new NBC series, A.P. Bio. I'm a huge fan of Glenn Howerton, especially when it comes to his acting on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I think this show looks pretty good, so I'm definitely going to watch A.P. Bio when it premieres. :)

OwlCrate Unboxing: December 2017 (Seize The Day)

Here's what I got in my December 2017 OwlCrate box, which came in the mail today. The theme for December's box is "Seize The Day".

My December @owlcrate box came in the mail today, and I absolutely love it! This month’s box is full of so many fun items, it’s too hard for me to pick just one of them as my favorite. I love Harry Potter themed tote bag. It’s the third tote bag that I’ve received from OwlCrate, and it’s definitely my favorite of the three tote bags. I love the double sided bookmark with two quotes on it. @jeffzentner’s The Serpent King continues to be my favorite OwlCrate book of the month, so that’s definitely my favorite side of the bookmark. I also consider it to be one of my top favorite books that I’ve ever read, behind only his other book, Goodbye Days which I loved even more. ☺️ I absolutely love the Christmas tree ornament. I think it’s really cool. 😀 I ended loving @kasiewest’s book P.S. I Like You, which I read after I got it from OwlCrate, so much that I bought Lucky in Love when it was released. I ended up loving it even more than P.S. I Like You. 😀 I think it’s really cool that the owners of OwlCrate were able to have West write a note to OwlCrate subscribers about Lucky in love. My favorite memory of high school is the unit my ninth grade English class did on Romeo & Juliet, and I’ve been a huge fan of Shakespeare’s plays ever since then, which is one of the reasons why I’m so excited about Foolish Hearts being this month’s OwlCrate book of the month. I’m really excited to read Foolish Hearts, and to see how Emma Mills incorporated Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream into the plot. All in all, this is definitely a really fun OwlCrate box. 😀 #owlcrate #bookstagram #bookhaul #bookaholic #bookaddict #foolishhearts #emmamills #amidsummernightsdream #williamshakespeare #harrypotter #jkrowling #theserpentking #jeffzentner

Subscription plans start at $29.99, plus shipping. The people who run OwlCrate are all very nice, and they’re really great at answering any questions that people may have about OwlCrate on Twitter, Instagram, or via email. I highly recommend subscribing to OwlCrate, especially if you’re a fan of YA books. If you’re interested in learning more about OwlCrate, or subscribing to it, you can check out their website here. For the record, I wasn’t asked by the people who run OwlCrate to promote their business on my blog; I’m only mentioning OwlCrate here because I really love OwlCrate a lot, especially now that I’m reviewing books for my blog instead of TV shows.

Finally, in case you’re unaware, I've reviewed Jeff Zentner’s debut novel, The Serpent King, which was OwlCrate’s book of the month for March of last year when the theme was "Writer’s Block". I've also reviewed P.S. I Like You by Kasie Westwhich was the book of the month for August of last year when the theme was "Fast Times at Y.A. High"; as well Audrey Coulthurst's book, Of Fire and Stars, which was the December 2016 book of the month when the theme was "Epic".

Here are links to all of the other previous OwlCrate unboxings that I've posted on my blog. However, I have a lot more OwlCrate unboxings that I've posted on my Instagram page in case anybody is interested in checking those out.

Supernatural: Donna related scoop on episode 13x11 from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://ewedit.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/sn1008a_0569b.jpg

Here's some scoop on Supernatural from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/14/17.

I’m bummed we haven’t seen Donna yet this season on Supernatural. Please tell me she gets a lot of screen time in the Wayward Sisters pilot! — Kelly
Donna will appear in the Wayward Sisters backdoor pilot, but it’s actually the episode after Wayward that you’ll want to pay extra attention to. “Donna is featured heavily in episode 11, and it really takes her character to a place we have not seen her,” EP Andrew Dabb says. “It changes her a little bit and sets her up for, should we be lucky enough for [Wayward] to move forward, the next chapter of her life. Everyone else we front-loaded, and Donna we’ll tie up an episode after, but it gets everyone to the place where if we go ahead, all of these characters are prepared for that next chapter.”

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/the-blacklist-fall-finale.jpg?w=620&h=420&crop=1

Here's some scoop on The Blacklist from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/14/17.

Will Liz blame Tom’s death on Red on The Blacklist? — Sean
It sounds like all signs point to yes considering it won’t be long before she learns why Tom really died. “She will learn some truths,” EP John Eisendrath tells me. “Obviously she’ll learn about the suitcase. The most important thing she’ll learn at some point is that Tom died trying to unpack a secret of Red’s. Right there, that is a huge fact that is like an emotional bomb. Once she learns that, Red is going to have some explaining to do.”

The Brave: Jaz related scoop on the season 1 winter premiere (Episode 1x10 "Desperate Measures") from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/41/The_Brave_logo.png

Here's some scoop on The Brave from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 12/14/17.

Do you know if the team will save Jaz when The Brave returns? — Kyle
It should come as no surprise that the team will stop at nothing to save Jaz, putting their own lives on the line in the winter premiere, which is just as tense, if not more, than the fall finale. While Jaz is facing, hmmm, an interesting form of torture that I haven’t seen before, the team back at home will make a risky decision that will put at least one job in jeopardy.

Is Mack really going to quit the team on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? — Lee
Going from the Framework to space has definitely given Mack pause, but whether he follows through on his premiere declaration remains to be seen. “I think he’s pretty fed up, but they’re all pretty close, they all like each other quite a bit, so it’s hard to leave your friends behind,” EP Jed Whedon tells me. “One of the things that’s fun for us this year is we really are just a family. At the end last year, Daisy says ‘We all go down together,’ and now we’re putting that to the test.”
