Bookstagram Post: My May TBR Dilemma

Here's a picture of almost all of the books that I'm considering including in my May TBR.

I’m definitely having a really hard time finalizing my May TBR. These are the books that I’m currently considering the possibility of including in my May TBR, along with A Court of Frost and Starlight by @therealsjmaas and The Soldier by Neal Asher, which aren’t included in this picture due to the fact that they don’t come out until next month. Obviously I won’t be able to read all of these books next month, which is why I’m in the process of trying to narrow this selection of books to a more manageable number of books to read next month. I already know for sure that I’m definitely going to read A Court of Frost and Starlight, Ace of Shades by @amandafoody, and The Queens of Innis Lear by @tessa.gratton. I’m also hoping to listen to @stephanie_garber’s book, Caraval, on audiobook again in preparation and anticipation for the release of Legendary on May 29th. Listening to @genashowalter’s Everlife trilogy on audiobook is also pretty high on my list of priorities when it comes to reading at the moment, so I’m really hoping that I’ll be able to make that happen next month, too. I really want next month to be the month where I finally read @vanessafewings’ book, The Chase, because I’ve wanted to read it for a very long time. 😀 I would also love it if next month could also be the month where I FINALLY read @adamsilvera’s debut novel, More Happy Than Not, because all three of his books have been in my TBR pile for the longest time. Of the three @aleatharomig books that are in consideration for my May TBR, I’ll most likely read two of them at most. I’ll probably at least read Plus One again next month so I can write a review for the book. If I end up reading a second Aleatha Romig book next month, I’m leaning towards reading Respect. The plot synopsis just has me feeling really, really, really excited to read it, so I’m really glad that Romig wrote it as a standalone book that people can read, even if they haven’t read the rest of the Infidelity series. 😀 It really is proving to be very difficult to finalize my May TBR, because these are all books that I really want to read or re-read for various reasons. 😀 #bookstagram #bookblogger #bookblog

OwlCrate Unboxing: April 2018 (Shadows & Secrets)

Here's what I got in my April 2018 OwlCrate box, which came in the mail yesterday. The theme for March's box is "Shadows & Secrets".

My April @owlcrate box came in the mail today, and I absolutely love it! I’m beyond excited about the April book of the month being Ace of Shades by @amandafoody, because based on everything that I’ve heard about Ace of Shades, it couldn’t be any more up my alley if it tried to be. I absolutely love morally ambiguous characters, so Ace of Shades sounds perfect for me. 😀 I’m planning to read it at the beginning of next month. 😀 My favorite thing in this month’s box is without a doubt the coffee. 😀 Even though I’m 30 years old, I’ve actually never drank hot coffee before, because I used to hate the smell of coffee, and I prefer to drink cold beverages. However, I’m really excited to try the coffee that they included in this month’s box. 😀 I also love the pillowcase. 😀 @stephanie_garber’s Caraval continues to be one of my top five favorite OwlCrate books of the month that I’ve received, and Legendary is one of my most anticipated May book releases, so I’m beyond thrilled that they included a sampler for Legendary that includes the first four chapters of the book in this month’s box, along with a note from Stephanie Garber. OwlCrate really went above and beyond with the Legendary sampler by getting Garber to write a note to include with the sampler. 😀 All in all, the owners of OwlCrate really did a fantastic job on the April OwlCrate box. 😀 #owlcrate #bookstagram #bookhaul #bookbox #bookaholic #bookaddict #bookblogger #bookblog #aceofshades #amandafoody #caraval #legendary #stephaniegarber

Here's what I got in my February 2017 OwlCrate box, which came in the mail today. The theme for February's box is "Run away with the Circus".

My February @owlcrate box came in the mail today, and I absolutely love it! While I really like red version of the Night Circus themed tote bag that some people received, I definitely like the black version of the tote bag more, so I'm thrilled that I got a black tote bag. I absolutely love the note pad that's made out of recycled playing cards. I think the candle smells great. 😀 As someone who mostly listens to audiobooks, I love that they included a free download code for the audiobook of Caraval. I really hope that OwlCrate does that again in the future. While I'm always excited to get my OwlCrate box, the wait for this month's box was especially brutal since I had originally planned on getting a copy of @stephanie_garber's Caraval the day it was released (1/31) so I could read and review it right away, but when OwlCrate announced the theme for the February box, I knew that I was going to have to change my plans. I'll definitely start reading it very soon now that I finally own a copy of Caraval. 😀 This is definitely another fantastic OwlCrate box. 😀 #owlcrate #bookstagram #bookhaul #bookworm #bookaddict #bookaholic #caraval #stephaniegarber #thenightcircus
