The Vampire Diaries: Scoop on the resurrection of dead characters and Caroline related scoop on the season 4 finale from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Vampire Diaries from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: So we know there are ghosts appearing on The Vampire Diaries soon. Do you know if any characters are actually getting resurrected permanently? Or are they all just ghosts? —Audrey
Ausiello: Rumor has it that one resurrection may stick.

Question: I need some Vampire Diaries scoop on Caroline. —Calleigh
Ausiello: These 15 words will leave her mouth in the May 16 season finale, per exec producer Julie Plec: “Come hell or high water, hell will freeze over before I let anybody cancel graduation.” As Plec explains, “The instinct to miss graduation is going to be on [everyone's] minds because there’s greater things afoot. And Caroline, as we know, finds these moments and high school events very precious and gets very angry when anybody tries to mess with them.”

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on the cast of the potential spin-off and Regina related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I have a Q about Once Upon a Time and its potential spin-off: If we decide not to watch the spin-off, will we still understand everything that’s going on in Once Upon a Time? Or are the two shows completely connected? Thanks! —Emily
Ausiello: Worry not. Should the Wonderland-based limited-run offshoot get the green light from ABC on May 14 — and even though Barbara Hershey’s Cora and even Lana Parrilla’s Regina could appear in flashbacks — “It is intended to exist as its own thing,” says Once cocreator Eddy Kitsis. Adds Adam Horowitz, “If you’ve never seen Once, you can actually watch Wonderland and not worry.”

Question: Got any scoop on Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Nashville, Hannibal or Orphan Black? —Danae
Ausiello: On the Once Upon a Time front, expect to see Mulan, Aurora and Prince Phillip once again, before the season is over. And lest you think Regina’s “trigger” to implode Storybrooke is just a MacGuffin for us to gaze upon and imagine its potential, “We’re definitely going to see what that black diamond does,” EP Eddy Kitsis warns.

Grey's Anatomy: Scoop on the Owen/Ethan storyline from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Grey's Anatomy from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Do you have any scoop on Grey’s Anatomy? —BP
Ausiello: If you are among the few who believe that this Owen/Ethan storyline will have a shiny, happy ending — with the motherless, potentially fatherless lad skipping off to live with his grandma Nancy — I’d like to introduce you to this thing called television. “There are a lot of interesting twists coming up, ones that I did not expect,” All My Children alum Jennifer Bassey, who plays Nancy, tells us. “It will really tear your heart out…. It’s heavy-duty stuff!” In other Grey’s news, Shonda Rhimes tweeted the following finale tease on Tuesday and I can’t get it out of my damn head! “On set at Grey’s. A piece of this scene was so top-secret that I had to whisper it to the director instead of writing it in the script.” Anyone by chance know what supermarket Rob Corn shops at? The Good Wife: Peter and Will related scoop on season 5 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Is the vote-tampering secret between Peter and Will going to resurface on The Good Wife next season? Seems too juicy of a storyline to just let end in the finale. —Kathy
Ausiello: I’m with you, Kath. Even though Peter didn’t end up needing those votes to win, it could still wreak havoc on his political career — and jeopardize his relationship with Alicia. But as Josh Charles points out, even if the political scandal stays under wraps, it still “adds a really neat dynamic” to Peter and Will’s relationship. “It’s now something that lives between them,” he adds, “Whether that becomes something that’s explored literally — or it’s just there sort of hanging in the air – will remain to be seen.” Speaking of The Good Wife, series co-creators Robert and Michelle King have agreed to answer reader questions about the finale. So, stop what you’re doing, compose a really intelligent question pertaining to the finale and/or Season 5, and send it to askausiello@tvline.com with the words “Good Wife Q” in the subject line.

Bones: Scoop on episode 9x02 “El Carnicero en el Coche” from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Bones from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: After Monday’s Bones finale, can you divert our attention for a bit and tell us a bit more about Bones‘ Season 9 episode “El Carnicero en el Coche” that the cast and crew are shooting right now? From a pic that David Boreanaz tweeted, it appears that Sweets might have quit his job. —Rex
Ausiello: It’s the second episode of Season 9 and, yes, it revolves around Sweets’ new gig. As exec producer Stephen Nathan reveals, the events of the season finale will drive the Jeffersonian’s resident shrink out the door. “He has some leave coming from the FBI, and considering all the stress and guilt he feels after Pelant’s [latest killing spree], he decides to take his leave and explore another opportunity,” Nathan previews. “We’re going to see in Sweets that crime-fighting isn’t the only thing he’s focused on. We’re going to open up his life a little more.” Nathan, however, stresses that the leave is only a temporary one, adding, “He’s going to be around. He’s just going to explore his character a little bit more.”

Glee: Kurt and Blaine related scoop on episode 5x21 "Wonder-ful" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Glee from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Will Glee‘s Blaine actually go through with the marriage proposal to Kurt? Hope not. They’re freakin’ teenagers! —Jonathan
Ausiello: That’s just the kind of common sense advice Blaine needs right now. Cue a special appearance by Kurt’s pa, Burt! “Blaine is considering marrying Kurt and [I offer] my point of view on that,” Mike O’Malley tells TVLine of his May 2 encore. “I had some beautiful scenes with Darren Criss, who is just turning into such a remarkable actor. Well, turning into, he was – but this year they’ve given him strong, strong material and a really nice, beautiful arc to play. And oftentimes, my scenes with him are triangulated with the presence of Chris Colfer, and in this episode, they’re not. I have one really beautiful scene with just Darren, and I loved it.”

Scandal: Scoop on the reveal of the mole's identity in the season 2 finale from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Scandal from this week's (Posted on 4/30/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Do you have anything particularly scandalous about the season finale of Scandal you can share? —Daniela
Ausiello: I see what you did there. Scandalous. Scandal. Clever. I may steal that for next week’s AA. In the meantime, conventional wisdom points to the elusive mole being unmasked in the May 16 finale. Kerry Washington, meanwhile, points to it being the person you’d least expect. “It’s so shocking,” the actress tells us with a huge, hearty laugh. “So, so shocking. And so good. One of the things the show does so well is they mostly do these, like, one-two or one-two-three punches. So it’s not usually one cliffhanger; it’s usually a shock, and then another couple of shocks — and that’s kind of how that goes down.”

Dallas: Renewed for a third season | Inside TV | EW.com

DALLAS.jpg

According to Entertainment Weekly's James Hibberd, TNT has renewed Dallas for a 15-episode third season, which is scheduled to premiere early next year. Here's an excerpt from the article:

Dallas has built a passionately loyal following with its expertly woven storylines, clever twists and turns, and numerous outstanding performances by a cast that spans generations,” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT. “Although we said goodbye to Larry Hagman and his iconic character J.R. Ewing this year, Dallas has many more stories left to tell, and the Ewing clan will continue to honor J.R.’s memory by keeping its audience surprised and delighted.”

Indeed, some wondered if Dallas would continue beyond the second season after Hagman passed away late last year. The season has averaged 3.8 million viewers per episode when including seven days of DVR playback, and 1.4 million adults 18-49.

My thoughts: I'm beyond thrilled that Dallas has been renewed for a third season, because it along with Revenge has managed to more than satisfy my constant craving for nighttime soap operas. I have to admit that I think that Revenge ended up really stumbling creatively in its second season to the point where I now love Dallas more than Revenge these days. Although, Revenge has been pretty good lately. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that a lot of people realize that the show has really gone back to its roots since the ratings have declined significantly this season, but I digress.

While I did love season 2 of Dallas, and some ways I loved it even more than the first season, I didn't think that the second season was perfect. There were definitely some aspects of the season that were a bit rushed and handled somewhat poorly, such as Ann shooting Harris, admitting to shooting him and having the trial and her simply being sentenced to probation pretty much all in the span of just two episodes. I really wish they had done a little bit more with Ann being sentenced to probation. Given the fact that Cynthia Cidre was forced to write Larry Hagman's death into the show on fairly short notice, I'm more willing to overlook some of the season's flaws than I'm willing to overlook Revenge's flaws this season. I'm planning on writing a review of the second season of Dallas once it's summer time and most of my favorite shows are on a break until the fall, so I'll talk about my thoughts on the season as a whole in more detail then.

That being said, I have to admit that I was getting worried that Dallas might be canceled since the second season finished airing several weeks ago and yet there hadn't been any renewal news until now. If the worst had happened and Dallas had been canceled, at least I would have been left feeling fairly satisfied with how the show ended. Whether or not it was the writers' intention to write the last episode of season two in a way where it could be a good season finale, or a good series finale if need be, I'm not sure. The season finale did a pretty good job of having the Ewing/Barnes family feud seemingly come to an end, while also setting up a potential feud between the Ewings and Elena's family. Now that the show has been renewed it will definitely be interesting to see how that plays out in season 3. Honestly, the only thing that I truly hated about the season 2 finale was the whole thing with John Ross hooking up with Emma at the very end of the episode. I'm a huge fan of the John Ross and Pamela pairing, so I didn't like that one bit. If you're not already watching TNT's Dallas, then you definitely need to buy the first season on DVD right now and start watching it immediately. I consider it to be one of the most addictive shows currently on TV right along with Scandal.

Can you wrap your mind around a global Joe Carroll cult? Because according to James Purefoy, that's where we are headed. "All we've seen so far is a quite small geographical area where most of the action took place, and that was in Richmond, Virginia," he tells us. "I also am very aware that Joe's Internet chat rooms and his websites, and all those things, some of which have been found some haven't, are going full. So frankly, Joe can go anywhere." Now that is a frightening thought.

"Beauty and the Beast": Gabe has been a rather mysterious character on "Beauty and the Beast" ever since his arrival. We know he's causing trouble and has an agenda, but there's no way -- so far -- to know if that agenda is on the side of good or the side of evil. Look forward to finding out soon. According to executive producer Jennifer Levin, "[Gabe] is going to cause a lot of problems for Catherine and Vincent ... So we're sort of playing that: Is he good or is he bad?" Although Levin wouldn't give many more clues -- saying only that Gabe might "face" or "kill" Vincent and Catherine -- she did promise an answer would come before the end of Season 1. She also promised that that answer would be very much worth the wait.

"Supernatural": The hug between the Winchesters in last week's episode marked a turning point for them -- and a return to the sort of solid bond they haven't had in a few seasons. "Given how the boys reunited at the beginning of this season, not on the best terms, the one thing that did unite them was this sense of revenge against Crowley and the demons," says executive producer Jeremy Carver. "Now, we're going to see things start moving pretty quickly and pretty wildly. A lot of balls in the air. The boys are really going to be constantly confronted with the idea of, 'Okay, we want revenge, but how far are we willing to go? How much are we willing to sacrifice?'" It's a theme that drove them when "Supernatural" began, and we'll find them looking at the question in a new light toward the finale.

When we see him as an adult, he's slightly less dreamy. One of our favorite parts of the episode doesn't have anything to do with Jess -- just wait until you see what happened when Nick's dad took him and Winston went on a trip to New York as kids. There's a woman named Octopussy involved. We're pretty sure that's not her real name.

All My Children: The citizens of Pine Valley are finally be back! (My thoughts on the online premiere)

I’m not going to deny that I was very skeptical about the idea of All My Children becoming an online soap opera when the news of Prospect Park wanting to take the show, as well as One Life to Live, online for a variety of reasons. For starters, the news that they might be able save All My Children and One Life to Live from cancellation just seemed too good to be true, so sadly I wasn’t all that surprised when Prospect Park announced that they wouldn’t be able to go through with their plans to do that. When Prospect Park announced their second attempt at reviving All My Children and One Life To Live, I chose to remain skeptical just in case things once again didn’t work out.

Even when it was announced that things were indeed going to work after all with taking All My Children online, I continued to feel rather skeptical about the whole thing, only this time my skepticism was more about whether or not the quality of the writing and over all production values for the online relaunch would be good since the quality of online web series has often been hit, miss, or a mix of good and bad in my experience. Given the fact that this relaunch features quite a few recasts for the characters from the younger generation who have been SORASed, as well as some completely new faces, I was also skeptical about of all these cast changes. That being said, I’m very pleased to say that this is the best online production that I’ve ever seen for a show.

With the exception of Eric Nelsen who plays the now teenage AJ Chandler, I was immediately impressed with all of the new cast members. Although, to be fair to Eric and his portrayal of AJ, he did start to grow on me as the episode progressed. He especially started grow on me once I got to his scenes with Denyse Tontz, who now plays Miranda, who’s also a teenager now. As I was watching their scenes together, I got a very strong feeling that AJ and Miranda will become a couple at some point, and I’d like to see that happen since Eric Nelsen and Denyse Tontz definitely have great chemistry together. It doesn’t look like they will be getting together any time soon though since Miranda was obsessing over another guy right in front of AJ. I have to say that I loved AJ’s reaction to Miranda fixating over the guy she apparently has a crush on despite the fact that it sounds like that the guy has pretty much only said hi to her at this point in time.

Given the fact that I’ve watched a lot of teen dramas over the years, such as 90210 and Gossip Girl, I’ve never been one to get too bent out of shape over the age of actors playing teenagers or the age gap between the actors playing teenagers and the age of the actors playing their parents. That being said, I found myself thinking that Eric Nelsen is too old to play a teenager as I was watched this episode. As soon as Eric first appeared, I was instantly reminded of David Hornsby, who’s a writer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and also plays the role of Rickety Cricket on the show as well. Personally, I think that Eric Nelsen looks an awful lot like David Hornsby, but I digress. Although, for the record, I don’t know how old he is in real life, and I found myself not fixating on wondering how old Eric is in real life as the episode progressed. That being said, based on the preview for the next episode Eden Regal looks too young to be playing the mother of a teenager, if you ask me. Instead it looked like Bianca and Miranda were two sisters talking. I’ll try to reserve judgment about Eden playing the mother of a teenager until I actually see some scenes between Bianca and Miranda though.

CW orders 'Vampire Diaries' spinoff, renews two dramas | Inside TV | EW.com

The-Vampire-Diaries-The-Originals-EW-Exclusive-01_612x380.jpg

According to Entertainment Weekly's Lynette Rice, The CW has ordered The Vampire Diaries' spinoff, The Originals, to series. Hart of Dixie has also been renewed for a third season, while Beauty and the Beast has been renewed for a second season. Here's an excerpt from the article:

On Thursday, the Diaries’ spinoff averaged 2.2 million viewers and a 0.9 among adults 18-49 — down 31 percent from The Vampire Diaries‘ average this season. But the CW gives equal attention to a show’s impact in social media and online streaming, which is why CW topper Mark Pedowitz released this statement: “As soon as we saw last night’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, we knew we wanted more of The Originals. Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson have done a fantastic job with The Vampire Diaries, which is as fast-paced and well-written as ever, and Julie has created an equally compelling world for The Originals.”

The CW says Beauty and Hart get big boosts from live-plus-7 day viewership. Hart averages a 53% increase among adults 18-34 and a 61% gain among women 18-34, while Beauty enjoys a 43% jump in adults 18-34 and a 45% bump in women 18-34.

My thoughts: I'm several seasons behind on watching The Vampire Diaries, so I haven't seen any of the characters that will be featured in The Originals yet, so I have no idea if I would like the characters on The Originals. I'll probably check it out at some point though since I love TV shows, movies and books about vampires. Although, based on the comments that I've read about the backdoor pilot for The Originals, a lot of people seem to have problems with it and didn't like it very much, so it will be interesting to see how the series itself does in the fall. That being said, I absolutely love Hart of Dixie, so I couldn't be more thrilled that it has been renewed for a third season. Out of all this news, Hart of Dixie's renewal is definitely the news that I'm most excited about. I truly believe that Hart of Dixie is an extremely underrated TV show that deserves a lot more recognition and attention than it gets. I've never watched Beauty and the Beast, but from what I've seen the fans of the show are very passionate about it and seem to really love the show, so I'm happy for the fans that the show has been renewed.

NBC renews 'Parenthood,' 'Revolution,' 3 more | Inside TV | EW.com

Monica-Potter-Parenthood.jpg

According to Entertainment Weekly's James Hibberd, NBC has renewed Parenthood, Revolution, Grimm, Law & Order: SVU,  and Chicago Fire for the 2013/2014 TV season. Each show has received 22-episode orders for next season. Here's an excerpt from the article:

“On the verge of our 2013 fall scheduling decisions, we’re pleased to renew five drama series that will be important to our new season line-up,” said Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment. “We’re proud and very appreciative of all of the actors, producers, writers and directors who work so hard to deliver such high-quality work week in and week out. These complex shows represent a broad range of genres and tones, and all of them stand out for us in a television landscape now filled with one-hour series. We’re especially pleased to be renewing Revolution and Chicago Fire — two first-season successes — and there will be more returning series announcements made in the next couple of weeks.”

Link to the full article:NBC renews 'Parenthood,' 'Revolution,' 3 more | Inside TV | EW.com

My thoughts: Out of all these shows that NBC has renewed for next season, the only show that I don't watch is Law & Order: SVU, so I don't really have much a reaction to that renewal other than the fact that I'm not the least bit surprised that it has been renewed for next season. That being said, I'm absolutely thrilled that Parenthood, Revolution, Grimm, and Chicago Fire have all been renewed. I absolutely love Grimm, Parenthood and Chicago Fire, and while I don't love Revolution, I do kind of like it, so I'm glad that it has been renewed.

Honestly, the only thing that I find surprising about this renewal news is the fact that NBC has renewed Parenthood for 22 episodes, mainly because the only season of the show that has a had a full season of 22 episodes is season 2. I was pretty confident that Parenthood would get renewed for another season, but I didn't necessarily think that it would be for a 22-episode season. Parenthood definitely deserves to be renewed for a full season though, because I truly believe that it's an extremely underrated show.

That being said, it will be very interesting to see what the NBC network executives do with their scheduling next season, especially when it comes to Grimm, Chicago Fire and Revolution. The fact that they have moved Grimm to Tuesday nights after The Voice for the rest of the season starting on April 30th makes me wonder if they are thinking about moving Grimm to another night next season. Assuming NBC decides to have the potential Chicago Fire spin-off go to series, I'm guessing that they will air it after Chicago Fire, but I suppose they could do something else with the scheduling for the spin-off if it goes to series.

It will also be interesting to see what NBC decides to do about Revolution next season. Personally, I think they will probably decide to give one of their new shows the Monday night post The Voice time slot and move Revolution to another night. I wouldn't completely blame them if they did that considering the fact that the two post The Voice time slots on Monday and Tuesday nights are basically the best time slots that they could give their new shows. There's no denying that Revolution is hemorrhaging The Voice's viewers, so I don't think that the two shows share much of an audience to begin with. On the other hand, I kind of feel like The Voice is the only thing that's propping Revolution up right now, regardless of how little having The Voice for a lead-in seems to be helping the show's ratings at the moment.

A part of me thinks that Revolution would completely collapse in the ratings if it didn't air after The Voice, especially after seeing how much Smash plummeted in the ratings this season when they moved it away from The Voice. If they decide to keep Revolution in the same time slot next season, I wouldn't entirely question that decision either if they wanted to try and prevent that from happening to Revolution. Although, I do think that it's important for Revolution to be able to stand on its own at some point, because I don't think that it would be fair to other new shows in the future if they didn't get a chance to air after The Voice simply because NBC network executives might think that they need to prop Revolution up by always airing it after The Voice, but I digress.

As I said earlier, I wouldn't say that I love Revolution, but I definitely like it at least a little bit. Now that I know that the show will indeed be back for a second season, I'm planning to continue with my whole project that I started with watching Revolution and taking notes on the episodes, but I'm not planning to write my review of the show until season one has ended. My review of the show will now be of the entire first season instead of just the first ten episodes like I had originally wanted to do, but for a variety of reasons I didn't get a chance to finish watching the first half of the season and write my review before the show returned in March, so I ultimately decided to wait until after the season ended to write my review.

Also: Danny wears a speedo for a lot of the episode, so if that doesn't get you to tune in, look at your life and look at your choices.

Castle: Castle and Beckett related scoop on the season 5 finale from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Tell us Castle and Beckett are not breaking up in the finale! OK, I know you can’t answer that, but give us something to make us feel better? –Rida
Hmm. Would it make you feel better to have insight into how Andrew W. Marlowe decided wherever it is that Kate and Rick end up at 10:55 pm on May 13? When first planning a finale, the series creator explains, “You have a great map, but it’s like driving through fog a little bit – the closer you get, the clearer it gets. So about seven or eight episodes out, I knew ballpark where I wanted to land.” And versus yet another capper tied to Beckett’s mother’s murder, “I wanted a quieter, more emotional finale, without the fireworks,” he says. “In this one, something comes out of left field that both characters have to wrestle with, something that would be a challenge to any relationship.”

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 4/25/13.

The Good Wife | As interesting as what does happen on CBS’ acclaimed drama – in Sunday’s finale, for example, Colin Sweeney resurfaces (though far from a courtroom), while Cary makes a surprising enemy while forming his upstart firm – is what doesn’t. For example, the April 14 episode was set to revisit the Vampire Diaries fan fiction scandal that nearly upended Diane’s Supreme Court bid, but the scene didn’t make it into the episode. (In the lost sequence, Florrick campaign operative Jim Moody opened up to Diane about his own obsession with the CW soap.) “I’m kicking myself now because the episode was so long we had to cut it,” laments exec producer Robert King. “We will get it online or something. It was a [great] shout-out to Kevin Williamson.”

Eenie, meenie, miney… Schmidt! Next Tuesday’s New Girl, which reveals how the characters lost their virginity, is filled with expectedly hilarious awkwardness (and braces for Nick!). At the risk of sounding like SNL‘s Stefon, you have prostitutes, a kids’ castle, a dead hobo, tears and a whole lotta lube involved. While Jess’ prom night with Teen Wolf‘s Dylan O’Brien doesn’t go exactly as planned, Cece loses her V-card in a very model way and Nick plays an (unwilling!) role in Schmidt’s first time. And yes, that big Nick/Jess moment that Jake Johnson teased is indeed huge.

Ariel: I am on the edge of my seat waiting for The Following finale! Seriously, I've been sitting on the edge of my seat since Monday night. It's very uncomfortable and I need scoop to help take my mind off of it.
Ouch, just shimmy back to a more comfortable position! But we did just talk to Joe Carroll himself, aka James Purefoy about the finale, so we'll give up some teases. He told us that the finale will be "explosive, but literally and figuratively," and that the confrontation with Joe, Ryan and Claire is not to be missed! (Duh). But our favorite bit of scoop from Purefoy (or Pure Joy, as we call him) was this: He said we're going to need an inhaler for Agent Parker's storyline in the finale, because it's especially "gripping." Now we're the ones sitting uncomfortably on the edge of our seats!

So Glee then? Well as you can see in the photo at the top of the story, Sue's plan to protect Becky will quickly unravel after Blaine becomes suspicious about the whole school shooting incident. But at least Sue found another job pretty quickly! "Sue is teaching aerobics at a 23 Hour Fitness. They need that extra hour to…I don't want to tell you what it is!" Jane Lynch laughs to us. "It's too dirty. It has something to do with the steam room, though." Let your imagination run wild with that. But if it were up to Lynch, Sue will be back and around for the rest of this season…and the next two! "I hope my throne will be restored. I hope to be back," she says.

SO MANY things happen in this finale. I can’t even begin to describe it all. So we’ll play a game: There’s a ****, [Spoiler] makes a decision that will end up being a crazy secret [he/she] will share with an unexpected person, and there’s a phonecall that will stop your heart mid-beat. Can’t say who makes it nor the person on the other end. #thisshowisthebest

April 30′s “Triathalon” is a huge treat. It marks the arrival of Chloe Sevigny as Danny’s ex-wife, and she’s as great as she is…unyielding. But what brings her into town is actually going to cause a riff between Danny and Morgan. Meanwhile, Mindy and her religious BF Casey are going to hit a rough patch when he brings up the big C-word…conversion!

Executive producer Eric Kripke is the king of the tease, so I present his comment on the upcoming season finale, uninterrupted: “There’s a pretty huge — I don’t want to give anything away — but there’s a series of fairly massive, seismic events that happen that will change everything for season 2. So I think it’ll obviously have its same DNA and same characters but there will be new quests, new adventures, new problems and really an entirely new landscape that they have to deal with.”

Grey's Anatomy: Bailey related scoop on the season 9 finale from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Grey's Anatomy from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 4/24/13.

So Grey’s is having a super storm, huh? Well, big whoop! I just want to know that Bailey is going to be okay! Sorry, shippers, this isn’t all about you! There’s no Grey’s without Bailey. — Loren
Um, Loren, some advise: you don’t want to pick fights with shippers. And shippers, please sent all of your comments for Loren to dontpokethebear@eek.com. Now, on to your question, that is also not good news, I’m afraid. When I asked Chandra Wilson if we’d all be questioning Bailey’s position at the hospital by the end of the finale, she said coyly: “It is quite possible — even more than the audience questioning, she’s got big ole question marks about her future.” “She’s been questioning things about her future anyway [since] her colleagues became her boss,” she added. “It’s basically her and Alex Karev who aren’t invested financially. It’s an interesting position for her to be in.”

Well, in case you missed my post-mortem with Cote de Pablo, you can read that here. But if you did and are still craving more, here’s what de Pablo told me about Tony and Ziva in the following episode. “Let’s say this is one of the sweetest moments we’ll see because then things get messy again — as things do between these two characters,” she says. “They get really nice and mushy and then they get really messed up.”

I’m SO happy Supernatural is back this week. Can you give me any new info on the finale? — Anna
Well, the description for the finale released today let it slip that the boys will indeed go into “one last play” against Crowley, who is “poised to undo allthe good they’ve ever done as hunters.” So how will it all play out? “I think you owe your fans and your audience a sense of resolution and while we know we’re coming back, we’re leaving certain things open,” reveals Jeremy Carver. “That’s sort of a generic way of saying s–t gets resolved and s–t gets cliffhanged.”
