Is there a 100-percent chance that Monroe’s son is revealed during Revolution Season 2? –Jack
Definitely 97 percent, I’d say. Series creator Eric Kripke tells us that while that reveal will be “a slow burn,” “It does become a storyline this season” – one that offers “some twists and turns” along the way.

Sons of Anarchy: Scoop on the first three episodes of season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Longtime reader, first-time email… SOA me, please! –Candace
I’m three episodes into Sons of Anarchy’s coming season and, man, nothing is going right for the boys. Seriously, like no (theoretically) good deed comes without a dead body (or several) in its wake. And between Clay’s arrest, more brutal blowback for Juice being a snitch, Bobby pursuing his own agenda and Chibs and Tig not always agreeing with Jax’s calls, it’s not a good time to be in SAMCRO

Haven: Nathan and Audrey related scoop on season 4 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Haven from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Do you have any scoop on Haven? Will Nathan and Audrey be reunited early in the season? –Stephanie
Early might be stretching it. Granted, I’ve only seen the season premiere thus far, but there are obstacles a-plenty standing in the way of them finding each other. For one, Nathan is kinda persona non grata, seeing as his actions in the finale failed to do squat. (Jordan, for one, is very much not a fan of his.) Secondly, Audrey doesn’t believe she needs to be “found,” wherever she now is. In fact, she seems pretty content just kicking back and schmoozing Colin Ferguson’s charming mystery man.

The Big Bang Theory: Scoop on the future of Sheldon and Amy's relationship and Stuart related scoop on season 7 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Big Bang Theory from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Any fresh Big Bang Theory scoop? –Aleksandra
Sheldon and Amy’s unorthodox romance will continue to move at a glacial pace, despite their Dungeons & Dragons-themed canoodling last season. “That is the constant challenge in the writers room,” offers showrunner Steven Molaro, “to keep them growing and moving forward but a pace that’s comfortable and that doesn’t change the show too much.” In other Big-ish news, Molaro confirms that Kevin Sussman’s Stuart will be a semi-regular fixture this season, beginning with “three out of the first six Season 7 episodes.”

Is Grace Park returning for Season 4 of Hawaii Five-0, or is she really gone? –John
I fielded a version of this question recently, but now have new intel from show boss Peter M. Lenkov, who stresses that Kono will be seen “in a bunch” of early Season 4 episodes, yet independent of the Five-0 team she left behind.

Covert Affairs: Scoop on Oded Fehr's return in season 4 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Covert Affairs from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Have you heard anything yet about Oded Fehr’s “secret” Covert Affairs return date? – Jo
A) It’s still a secret, because B) Eyal’s appearance is designed to catch you – as well as Annie – quite off guard. Teasing the encore, Piper Perabo told me, “Something happens, a door opens and it’s him — and when this door opens, you are not thinking about him at all. There is no reason he should even know where she is.” In fact, Perabo says she was slightly distracted when first reading that script, and thus was startled herself to see Eyal pop into frame! “It’s so shocking when he appears,” she reiterates. “For me to be reading one of the scripts and be so like, ‘W-w-what?’ is really fun.”

NCIS: LA: Deeks and Callen related scoop on season 5 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on NCIS: LA from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Can you give us any hints on how Deeks’ mom will come into play this season on NCIS: Los Angeles? –Anna
Actually, somewhat interestingly, she won’t – meaning, I hear that at this time there are no plans to introduce her. (This topic, on which I have received multiple reader emails, is apparently the result of some game of “Telephone.” Sorry!)

On NCIS: LA, will we learn more about Callen’s past? –Molly F.
Oh yes. As showrunner Shane Brennan shared with me, “You know that little tea tin sitting on the mantle in Callen’s house, filled with little pieces of his past, pieces of that jigsaw? Well, he adds another very significant piece of the puzzle to that box” early this season. “It’s incredibly emotional.”

Once Upon a Time: Regina, Ariel and Philip related scoop and more on season 3 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 8/29/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Will Once Upon a Time explain how Mulan and Aurora helped Philip get his soul back from the wraith, before they found an injured Baelfire? –JJ
In a word, kinda. “We’ll hint at it, but we probably aren’t going to show that [back]story for a while,” says cocreator Eddy Kitsis. For one, it’s not like Neal has reason to raise it as a conversation topic. But more importantly, Kitsis explains, “One of the things about Season 3 is we’ve really tried to focus on the core characters, including the six people on that boat and Neal. We do eventually want to get to that [Philip/wraith] story, but we’re coming out of the gate with the people on that boat.”

Is there any way that Once Upon a Time‘s Ariel and Regina already met? Assuming that the “certain mermaid” Regina referred to in Episode 1×12, “Skin Deep,” was Ariel? –Mirza
I suspect you are onto something, though cocreator Adam Horowitz will only say that “we might” flash back to that aforementioned encounter during JoAnna Garcia’s turn as the Little Mermaid.

Last year, OUAT ran a one-hour special to recap the season before the new season starts. Do you know if they will be doing that again? –Bernadette
Yes, they shall. Once Upon a Time: Journey to Neverland will air Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7/6c, leading into the Season 3 opener.

Scandal: Enlists Lisa Kudrow for Season 3 Arc-TVLine

Lisa Kudrow Scandal

According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Lisa Kudrow has been cast in a recurring guest-star role in Scandal's upcoming third season. Here's an excerpt from the article:

The Friends actress is joining ABC’s red-hot drama in the recurring role of a powerful and smart politician, per Deadline. The character’s rumored name: Shelley Meyers.

The gig brings Kudrow under the same tent as her longtime producing partner, Scandal Emmy nominee Dan Bucatinsky.

Link to the full article:‘Scandal’ Casts Lisa Kudrow in Season 3 - TVLine

My thoughts: I'm beyond excited about this news for several reasons. For starters, I've been a huge fan of Lisa Kudrow's ever since she was on Friends, and I think she's a really talented actress. The thing that excites me the most about this news is because I've always really enjoyed watching actors and actresses that I like play a wide variety of roles throughout their career, and Kudrow being cast in a recurring guest-star role on Scandal is no exception to that. Considering the fact that I've basically only seen Lisa Kudrow in comedic roles over the years, it's going to be very interesting to see her in a dramatic role. Given how talented Lisa Kudrow is as an actress, I'm very confident that she'll do a great job on Scandal.

Dani Bree: If I could I would move to Bluebell and never ever leave! What's coming up on my beloved Hart of Dixie this season?
It must be spring time in Bluebell because new friendships are blooming! (Ugh, so sorry. That was unbelievably lame. We realize that.) We recently chatted with the lovely Kaitlyn Black and she exclusively told us that AnnaBeth and Zoe are going to get super close—like braid each other's hair close. "Yes there will definitely be a stronger relationship between the two of them and we will get to see lots of AB/Zoe shenanigans," she says. So does this mean that AB and Lemon's Belle bond is broken? Black explains, "Zoe is not taking the place of Lemon but with Zoe being very close to Lavon and AB being in love with Lavon they definitely get to hang out with each other quite a bit more." We can't wait to see their crazy Bluebell antics!

Here's some scoop on How I Met Your Mother from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything on HIMYM? —Nick
Ausiello: The final season’s ninth episode, titled “Mom and Dad,” will introduce us to Robin’s French-Canadian cousin, Claude, who may or may not have been involved in some shady hockey-related doings. (Ted’s pretty confident he’s guilty as sin.) Speaking of HIMYM, first Season 9 photos!

Revenge: Emily and Jack related scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Revenge from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I have to say, the more I hear about Revenge Season 3, the more encouraged I become. Anything else you can share? —Melody
Ausiello: The weekly takedowns are back, but with a twist: They’ll play out over multiple episodes. They’ll also be less plot-driven. “We’re going to use them to explore who Emily is a little bit more than we’ve had a chance to in the past,” previews new showrunner Sunil Nayar. “We’re 44 hours into the show now. She’s experienced so many different things, culminating in the revelation of who [really] is to Jack. We’re examining not just who she is and what happiness means to her, but what are the ramifications of her plans are. Because now there’s someone who knows. And that’s going to have an impact on Emily. So the takedowns are still going to be wonderful, but they’re also going to have a deeper meaning and a deeper effect.”

Ausiello: Things are getting darker, and not just because the power is out again. Despite moving to 8 pm, aka the family hour, all the characters will find themselves in “grimier situations,” previews executive producer Eric Kripke. “We wanted to explore more of our world – What does gambling look like? What do hookers look like? What does shadier nightlife look like? – and explore some of those corners.” Which, of course, is where they find Monroe.

Question: Any Rookie Blue scoop? —Holly
Ausiello: The show’s two-part season ender, airing Sept. 5 and Sept. 12, will play out in roughly real time, which exec producer Tassie Cameron says should “give some indication of the urgency and pace.” Also, it’s a good thing ABC’s summer sleeper was renewed since Season 4 ends on a cliffhanger. Ausiello: Thanks, Richa, but to be precise, I was in Entertainment Weekly, not “on” it. I’m a stickler for details, oh yes I am. Moving on to your query, showrunner Michael Patrick King tells us that Steven Weber will “probably” be back as Caroline’s pop this season and that “you never know” whether Candy Andy will return to romance Caroline. “We loved Ryan [Hansen] so much,” he says, but acknowledges that Hansen’s casting on CBS’ Bad Teacher complicates things a bit.

Ausiello: The third season of the supernatural drama will feature “alligators in the sewer” and “a reemergence of the Bauerschwein-Blutbad feud,” show bosses James Kouf and David Greenwalt tell TVLine. A word to the wise: You might want to DVR the Wu-centric episode – in which the cop comes face-to-face with the Wesen world – and watch it after dinner. The baddie in that hour is “something so creepy that the last thing that creepy was the fly episode,” Greenwalt promises. “This is right on par with that.”

NCIS: Scoop on Tim's new girlfriend in season 11 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on NCIS from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything new on the NCIS front? –Cheryl
Ausiello: If you are by chance among the McAbby fans who worry that Tim’s new computer geek girlfriend Delilah (played by Big Bang Theory brainiac Margo Hasrhman) will be some ersatz Abby, Gary Glasberg is here to set the record straight. “I’d like to believe that maybe he’s drawn to people like that and is intrigued by women like that, but I wouldn’t say that [Abby and Delilah] are that similar,” the showrunner tells us. “They have their differences, that’s for sure!”

Person of Interest: Shaw related scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Person of Interest from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Since Person of Interest announced that Sarah Shahi would be a series regular, social media has been lit up by passionate fans who either love or hate her character, Sam Shaw. Are they sticking by their choice? —Casey
Ausiello: Absolutely — and the thing to keep in mind is that as a result, Shaw isn’t now some full-time member of Finch’s team. As showrunner Greg Plageman explained to Matt Mitovich as part of our Fall Preview Spectacular, Shaw’s betrayal by her own government “informed her opinion about belonging to anything or giving allegiance to anyone right now.” And as such, “She helps us out only when she feels like it.”

Here's some scoop on Bones from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Do you have any new Bones spoilers for us? —Maria
Ausiello: Booth and Brennan have more than just a wedding to look forward to this season. Per exec producer Stephen Nathan, Bones intends to show the love-struck pair experiencing a number of pre-marriage trappings, including, presumably, bachelor and bachelorette parties. Although the rituals “might not be in the right order,” Nathan teases. “We want to continue to mess up tradition while kind of keeping it traditional at the same time.”

Once Upon a Time: Snow White, Prince Charming and Emma related scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Can we look forward to any substantial Snow/Emma scenes in Once Upon a Time Season 3? Also, is Snow finally going to get back to her warrior ways? –Christina
Ausiello: Yes, and thus yes. As mom and daughter brave Neverland together while still adjusting to their family dynamic, “In a lot of ways, Mary Margaret may not be able to bond with Emma, but Bandit Snow and Emma have a <I>lot</i> in common,” notes cocreator Eddy Kitsis. Meaning, going up against Peter Pan and his Lost Boys will bring bow-toting Snow to the fore. “David and Mary Margaret last year were saying, ‘We are both,’” Kitsis reminds. “But this year it’s, ‘We need Snow and Charming.’ That’s what this mission requires.”

Here's some scoop on Nashville from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: First time asker and I’ll keep it short and sweet — NewsroomNashville or The Originals? I’ll take anything! —Zara
Ausiello: Let’s head to Nashville. According to showrunner Dee Johnson, Peggy is determined to have Teddy’s baby. “She’s not going to run out and get an abortion,” Johnson says, adding that Teddy is “certainly not happy” about the bun in his mistress’ oven and that it’ll take a little while for Rayna to find out that Pegs is expecting. (Though, given everything that happened in the season finale, this whole mess is the least of Rayna’s problems, am I right?)

Beauty and the Beast: Casting related scoop and scoop on episode 2x04 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Beauty and the Beast from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Are there any Beauty and the Beast Spoilers? –Viv
Ausiello: I foresee a helper… and a headache. The show is currently casting the guest-starring roles of Zach, a cocky former soldier who uses a reunion with an old friend (perhaps Vincent?) for vengeance (against, perhaps, Muirfield?), and Beth, a high school pal of Cat’s who is now the hard-charging producer at a news station — suggesting to me that she’ll be the next one to get wind of the beasts now in our midst.

Question: Can you please keep us updated with the latest on Beauty and the Beast? It will be much appreciated! –Carol
Ausiello: Speak of the devil, here is the very, very latest: I can exclusively report that Bryan Dechart (Jane By Design) will debut in Episode 4 as Aaron Keller, a relative of Vincent’s (!) who is a street-smart arson investigator prone to being a (ahem) “hot” head. Hailing from a family of firefighters, Aaron is desperate to make his mark. And there you have the very latest!

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from this week's (Posted on 8/27/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: What’s up with Sons of Anarchy? —Robert
Ausiello: Jax won’t be making any conjugal visits to his jailhouse bride when Sons of Anarchy kicks off its sixth season on Sept. 10. In fact, he won’t be visiting Tara, period (although it won’t be for lack of trying on his part). When the unhappy couple do eventually come face-to-face, expect “a deep sense of sadness on both their parts,” shares series creator Kurt Suttter, who describes the reunion as “loving but very sad.” As the SOA boss notes, “They’ve been through so much already, and how many more times can you say, ‘I’m sorry?’ How many more times can you say, ‘It’s going to get better?’ How many more times can you say, ‘It’ll change?’ It’s almost like there’s a certain amount of resignation that they both are aware of.”

Ausiello: I can confirm that there will be some hugging (see photo, right). I can also confirm that there will be an exchange of classified information. “They [share] a couple of intimate secrets about each other,” exec producer Steven Molaro teases of the CBS comedy’s Sept. 26 opener. They have some really sweet scenes together.”

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on Tatiana Maslany's role in season 6 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Park and Recreation from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 8/27/13.

John B.: Obsessed with the fact that Tatiana Maslany is coming to Parks and Rec. It's like my two favorite shows merging into one. Got scoop on that?
We're calling her arc of episodes Orphan Rec, so if you start doing that too just give us credit. Actually give showrunner Mike Schur credit because he tweeted it first. Anyway, Aziz Ansari, who is the lucky guy who gets Tatiana as a love interest, tells us at the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco that they haven't shot anything with her yet, but they should be filming her guest spot in the next couple weeks. And since you love this casting so much, better thank Aziz. It was his idea! "We were trying to find someone and she is so good on that show and then I read that she had a comedy background," he tells our own Marc Malkin. "So I emailed Mike Schur and was like, 'hey, what about her?'" Best idea ever, Tom.

Well, we can't reveal exact details on that, but we can turn it over to Matt "Blue Eyes That Stare Right Into Our Souls" Bomer to tell us about the Peter-Neal relationship in the new season. "I am really excited about this season! It's all about this Faustian bargain; a deal that Neil makes with the devil in exchange for Peters freedom and it just creates this interesting dynamic on the show because the show is all about trust," he tells us. "Once again Neil always has the best intentions but it puts him in a very compromising position." Yup! Rayna is getting a hot new love interest, a guest star who might be all famous and fancy-like. His name will be Luke, and he is extremely charming and can sing and play guitar very well. (Adam Levine, anyone?) Expect these two to make some beautiful music, but it probably won't last more than five episodes. So don't get your panties in a bunch. Mostly because it's uncomfortable.

Grimm: Casts Alexis Denisof in Season 3-TVLine

grimm alexis denisof

According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Alexis Denisof has been cast in a recurring guest-star role in Grimm's upcoming third season. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Denisof's role:

Denisof will play Viktor Albert Wilhelm George Beckendorf (say that three times fast), the cunning first cousin to James Frain’s Renard.

Additionally, Graceland‘s Manny Montana is set to guest star in the role of David Florez, an ex-marine hothead returning from Afghanistan with PTSD.

Grimm‘s third season launches Oct. 25.

My thoughts: I absolutely loved Alexis Denisof on Angel, so I'm really excited about this news. Alexis Denisof is a very talented actor, so I'm sure that he's do a great job on Grimm. I think that Renard is a really interesting character, so it's always nice to see the writers explore his backstory. I can't wait to see the writers expand on Renard's backstory some more in season three, and it will be interesting to see how Denisof's character fits into Renard's storyline for season three. Personally, the season three premiere of Grimm can't come fast enough for my taste.

Gina in Los Gatos, Calif: So is Lauren Prepon returning to Orange Is the New Black or not?? I need to know!
Taylor Schilling sure thinks so, because as she told us recently, Alex is "one of the great loves of Piper's life, if not the great love." And that great love is a story that needs time to be told. "Any time you have a bond like that, it never really ends. It continues to play out," she says. "It's like layers of an onion. I'm curious also to see where the writers take that relationship." Probably not right away. As EP Steve Molaro explained to me, Raj is essentially in the same place Leonard was during the early seasons of the show and someone “who can still represent that mindset of ‘I really want to meet girls, but I really don’t quite know what I’m doing.’” “That idea has always been a part of the show and it’s nice we can keep it going through somebody else now,” he says.

Persistence is key. And luckily, it sounds like Shane Brennan has a plan. “I can absolutely that you will see the box in every episode, where Deeks left it. It’s still there. There may be a moment this season where — because of what he’s been through and because of the kiss and because of the delicate nature of the relationship between Kensi and Deeks — that Deeks gets that box down, and picks up those scissors, and maybe opens the box or maybe doesn’t.” Tease.

Sometimes women are in love with complicated men and they get thrown around, but in this situation, Owen is in love with a complicated woman who prefers her genius to almost anything else and that is complex.” Complex, indeed.

Here's some scoop on Castle from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 8/23/13.

Will we actually get to meet Baby Ryan on Castle or only be told he/she was born? — @ToZiKa
I have no solid answer for you yet on that front — mostly because EP Andrew Marlowe reports they’re “just starting to explore that.” But, he adds, “my assumption is we will get to meet the baby and that that episode will be late this fall.”
I was SO excited about to hear about the Castle episode with Josh Gomez! Can we expect any more fun ones or will they be mostly darker episodes? — Marsiella
Same combo as usual. A few serious (the premiere) and a few funny (the Saved by the Bell-paroding episode). Plus some adventure, too! Marlowe told me that one episode during the first half of the season will have a “Da Vinci Code/National Treasure” feel to it.

Raul Esparza is entering the new season of Law & Order: SVU with a big badge of honor: series regular status. So what does that mean for his character, ADA Rafael Barba? According to Executive Producer Warren Leight, storylines!

In one episode this season, for example, an old friend of Barba’s will come back into his life while running for mayor, and, as you might expect, it won’t be a seamless reunion. “The mayoral campaign in New York has been fraught with scandal, as you know, so we may touch on some of that this year,” says Leight. “We’ll get to know him a bit more and we’ll see him lobbying….he’s pretty…when the squad passes the baton over to the D.A.’s office, they know they have someone who can run as fast as they do, and that’s helpful to us in terms of storytelling.”

Leight warns, though, “he’s not without flaws and we’ll be looking at them.”

Meanwhile, look for Barba to also carry some guilt over the situation we left poor Olivia in. “I would say almost all the people on the squad have a degree of guilt about Lewis getting off,” Leight teases. “If he had been able to get the conviction on Lewis…they all feel like if they could have done something differently, this wouldn’t have happened.”

Bonus tease: That premiere episode? One of the most “harrowing” the show has ever done, Leight says. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Teen Wolf: Scoop on the second half of season 3 from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Teen Wolf from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 8/23/13.

TEEN WOLF: MORE SCOOPS ON SEASON 3B

I’ve made no secret of the fact that I loved the Teen Wolf finale. But here are three outtakes from my post-mortem with EP Jeff Davis.

+ On Isaac and Allison: Are they a ‘thing’ yet?
JEFF DAVIS: “It’s not officially a thing, but it’s definitely a relationship that’s complicated. So it’s going to cause a lot of complications for people and for their own lives. I think it’s interesting to show a different kind of love triangle where it’s not necessarily the two guys fighting over one girl but what you see is one guy doing his best to let go while realizing his best friend might be in love with his former girlfriend. And his girlfriend is trying to figure out, ‘how do I date my former love’s best friend?’ Those things are interesting to me. Not necessarily the pull of jealousy. It’s about, ‘How do we make this work and still stay friends?’ That’s hard to do in high school. That’s teenagers having to start acting like adults.”
+ Will be a time jump between season 3A and 3B?
JEFF DAVIS: Just a few weeks, like 3 weeks.
+ On the Halloween episode in the second half of the season:
JEFF DAVIS: “It is the fourth episode. We do the first two episodes are a two-parter. They tell one story so we can get some breathing room in that story and the [next] episodes revolve around both mischief night and Halloween. Things move very fast in Beacon Hills and you’ll see a lot of danger. I don’t want to see too much about them….You may not see them in quite the costume you think. And I’ll leave that up to your interpretation. You’ll see what I mean when it [airs].”

Revenge: Jack related scoop on the season 3 premiere (Episode 3x01 "Fear") from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Revenge from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 8/23/13.

REVENGE EP ON JACK IN SEASON 3

Put yourself in the shoes of poor Jack Porter for a hot second. Your wife is dead. Your brother is dead. You have a newborn. And your friend just revealed that she’s actually your former childhood BFF who’s been posing as someone else. What are you going to do? GET THE HELL OUT OF TOWN, of course. But it won’t stay that way.

Over the course of Revenge’s season 3 premiere, Jack will return to the Stowaway and the ghosts of the town that took so much from him. And Sunil Nayar, the show’s new incoming showrunner, says Jack has a tough road ahead. “He has an absolute lot to synthesize for himself and, especially as a person who is so inherently moral and good, to have so much bad and betrayal enacted upon him has been a journey. And when we see him in the premiere, he’s obviously still on that journey, but also has asked himself a lot of questions and come up with answers to a few.” Which begs the question, though, why did Jack return at all? “You will get a sense of why that is,” Nayar teases. “And the other thing is, there’s a real connection to the Stowaway. It’s the bar his father created and it is where the memories of those he’s loved and lost lived. It’s the one anchor he has. In some ways, it represents his past, what happened with Emily represents his present and Carl represents his future.”

Throw him a bone, though, Nayar! Jack needs SOMETHING good to come his way. What about a new dog? “It’s funny you should say that,” he laughs. “You’ll see him explore that early in the season.” (Jack + puppy = best thing ever?)

The Middle: Sue and Darrin related scoop on season 5 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Middle from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Got any scoop on Sue Heck from The Middle? Maybe a new boyfriend or job? –Amy
Sue, Sue, Sue…. [Sigh] Yeah, so as the season opens, Sue is very much wanting to fancy Darrin as her prospective beau. But a beauty school student named Angel has designs on Darrin, and — Sue carps — not for the best of reasons. Meaning, Angel is bananas for his bod, while Sue is nuts for his noggin.

The Newsroom: Scoop on episode 2x07 "Red Team III" from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Newsroom from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

TVLine becomes my “go to” more and more, so thanks for being here. I am trying to figure out who was fired on The Newsroom, prompting the “wrongful termination” suit that is now happening on the show. Can you help? –Fanne
A few episodes back, we learned that Jim’s replacement Jerry Dantana was bringing the suit against ACN, but in this Sunday’s ep, we get much more detail on what led to the DC-based producer getting the boot. “Institutional failure” is a phrase tossed around quite often, and most of the characters spend some time parrying with Marcia Gay Harden’s Rebecca Halliday during the hour. In flashbacks, we find out how the Operation Genoa story (which, as we all have known since the star of the season, isn’t true) falls apart on a grand scale… and by the end of the episode, three characters offer their resignations to boss lady Leona.

Parks and Recreation: Scoop on Lucy Lawless' involvement with the show in season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Parks and Recreation from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

On Parks and Recreation, is Ron really going to be a dad? If so, does that mean Lucy Lawless is a keeper? –Wendy
Yes, and… as far as the casual viewer will know. Show boss Mike Schur says that Lawless will appear in the season opener as well as another of the first eight episodes. And then…? “The normal thing is to grab a person for a six-episode arc, and we want to do that with her, but we’re going to spread them out over the season,” he explains. “She’s going to be the mother of Baby Swanson, so we didn’t want to grab her for four episodes and then never see her again.” So by sprinkling Diane in here and there, “We’ll really get the sense that she’s a permanent fixture in Ron’s life — which she is!”

Revolution: Scoop on Stephen Collins' performance as Rachel's father in season 2 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Revolution from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

I’d like some Revolution scoop on the new actors. –Chris
You will get scoop on one of the new players — and only one. (For now.) With Rachel in a very bad place in the wake of the season finale, Aaron and Miles will bring her to Texas to reunite with her father Gene, played by 7th Heaven‘s Stephen Collins. And “this role is unlike anything Stephen’s ever done before,” says showrunner Eric Kripke. “He’s gruff and pissed off and tough. It’s really fascinating to see Stephen playing this part, all whiskered and haggard. I think people are going to be blown away by the work he’s doing.”

Castle: Lanie and Esposito related scoop on season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Castle from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Lanie and Esposito are my favorite Castle characters. Is there anything you can tease about what will happen for them this season? –Marine
I finally caught up with Jon Huertas (who was busy the day I was on set), and while he has yet to shoot any such scenes, I am assured that there is Lanie-Esposito stuff coming up this fall. But here’s the possible rub: Castle creator Andrew Marlowe also tells me that Tori Ellis, the tech forensics expert Javy seemed to take a shine to at the end of Season 5, is set for an encore.

New Girl: Scoop on Coach's return in season 3 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on New Girl from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

What brings Coach back to town on New Girl? –Andy
Among other reasons, Lamorne Morris surmises, “Happy Endings getting cancelled…?” But seriously, Morris says that Damon Wayans Jr.’s “homecoming” will serve up “a lot of backstory” between Coach and Winston as well as “explain why he left in the first place, and where he went.” As for how Coach’s return affects the other guys, “I think Schmidt is going to be very competitive. while Nick is going to be very happy,” Jake Johnson told me. “Nick and Coach were old friends, so it’s going to be nice for Nick. But I bet Schmidt is going to have an oodle of issues with it.”

Do you have any scoop on Season 2 of Orange Is the New Black? I know it’s a year away, but…. –Ziad
As a matter of fact, I just learned that the Netflix hit is casting an older sister for Yael Stone’s Bostonian inmate Lorna. Described as “a little rough around the edges,” Francine has moved back into her and Lorna’s childhood home and lives there with their siblings, invalid parents and her own three kids.

Once Upon a Time: Robin Hood related scoop and scoop on the first half of season 3 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Any fresh Once Upon a Time scoop??? Need something to hold me until the premiere! –@Bezi12
During my long, in-depth Fall Preview chat with the series’ creators, Eddy Kitsis excitedly touted Season 3’s 11-episode trip to Neverland “as its own season, like one giant movie. And like any adventure movie, there’s romance, there are things that are terrifying, and there are things that are heartbreaking. That was always our goal, to have that big, summer movie feel.” Promising a mix of “uplift, romance, action and quieter moments,” Adam Horowitz added, “The best kind of roller coaster is the one that goes through all of that stuff.”

On Once Upon a Time, magic always comes with a price, so did the magic that Robin Hood used to heal Marian come with a price? –Mirza
Damn straight it did. ‘“There’s a price — and a debt,” Adam Horowitz teases of Sean Maguire’s upcoming, Fairytale Land-based arc as the Prince of Thieves.

Grey's Anatomy: Scoop on the future of Jackson and April's relationship and scoop on the future of Alex and Jo's relationship in season 10 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Grey's Anatomy from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Is there any news on the future of Grey’s Anatomy’s Jackson Avery and April Kepner? –Emani
Shonda Rhimes echoes that which Sarah Drew shared with us — Jackson wasn’t exactly bowled over by April’s mid-superstorm declaration of love. “He’s been very patient, and she’s the one who sort of walked away from him. And when the finale happened, he was feeling kind of ‘done,’ so her declaration is definitely going to have interesting repercussions,” Rhimes allows. “She’s engaged to somebody else, and he’s with somebody else, and it’s not as if either of them is behaving, I would say, in the most mature manner. They’ve definitely got challenging times ahead.”

Got any scoop on Alex and Jo from Grey’s Anatomy? Thanks in advance! – Burkey
As one could assume, “They are going to be exploring their relationship this season,” (the ridiculously pretty) Camilla Luddington told me at TCA. “I don’t trust Grey’s to make it all go perfectly, but I do know they are crazy about each other and in love.” And since the two-hour season opener picks up continuously, with more superstorm insanity, don’t expect any full-on on-call room nookie anytime soon. “We got smooches [in the finale], that’s all,” Luddington notes with a smile. “So we’ll see where that leads!”

Bones: Pelant related scoop on season 9 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Bones from this week's (Posted on 8/22/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

Do you have anything on Pelant’s next and last episodes of Bones? –Rachel
It depends on how you interpret the following. Bones will bang out six consecutive episodes this fall before (briefly) turning out the lights for Fox’s post-season baseball coverage — and it sounds like the show is going out with a home run. “We wanted to make sure that we leave that first six with a very big episode,” exec producer Stephen Nathan says of the Oct. 21 outing, which may or may not revolve around menace-to-society Pelant. “I can tell you definitely that Pelant figures in very, very, very, very heavily within the first six episodes,” teases the EP. ” But where he appears and/or vanishes, I can’t really say at this point.”
