You guys have been holding back on us True Blood fans. Spill it!
We're sorry, we didn't know there were any True Blood fans still out there... (We kid, we kid!) When the blood-thirsty HBO series returns this summer, brace yourselves for a whole new mess of baddies and troublemakers. One of our favorites is Mr. Gus--he's a Japan native who has fully embraced the "everything's bigger in Texas" way of living. The only thing bigger than his lavish, southern lifestyle? His quest for revenge, and trust us when we tell you, you do not want to cross him.

Glee: Scoop on the season 5 episode written by Chris Colfer from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Glee from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 3/31/14.

I'm so freaking excited that Chris Colfer is going to be writing an episode of Glee next year. Do you have any idea what it's going to be about?
We're thrilled to! So we made sure to ask Chris Colfer about his episode plans when we caught up with him at Glee's 100th episode celebration. "I could totally do a completely selfish episode and it would be like a Miley Cyrus tribute episode," he laughed. "But no I think I'm going to do something with animals and the elderly, something we haven't done yet." Not to worry, Glee fans, we suggested the perfect guest star for Chris' episode: Rebel Wilson. "Oh I would love to have her on," Colfer gushed. "She's incredible and I'd love to have her on in any way. Plus, she can sing." Better start tweeting those words of encouragement, gleeks!

In season five, fans will be introduced to Sydney, a newbie on the Rosewood High swim team who is both friendly and easy on the eyes. Could Emily be abandoning both Alison and Paige for a newer model?! We caught up with Shay Mitchell for a little relationship update: "For the Paige and Emily fans, I would say to hold tight. Nothing's ever said and done. And I will say to the Emison fans, you never know what could happen again. So stay tuned."

Person of Interest: Scoop on the end of season 3 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Person of Interest from this week's (Posted on 3/28/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Will we see the mysterious enemy from Person of Interest who was on the phone with Finch at the end of “Last Call,” or is the rest of Season 3 pretty Samaritan War centric? –Nick
Sounds like the latter. “Oh, I’m certain he’ll resurface,” EP Greg Plageman said in response to your Q. “But whether we actually see him again this season… you will not.”

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 3/28/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Are we going to see more magic lessons for Once Upon a Time‘s Emma? –Robertino
“That is definitely something that comes up,” says Jennifer Morrison, who describes the Emma/Regina scenes as both “fun” and “interesting.” As she points out, “Regina’s a bit annoyed because Emma wasn’t really into learning magic in Neverland, so there’s some banter back and forth about my ‘reluctance’ to be magical.” But with a Wicked Witch on the loose and Henry in a partially amnesic limbo, “Emma has that extra motivation to reach into place in herself that she’s not necessarily comfortable with.”

Pedro Pascal, who this Sunday kicks off a five-episode run as FBI Special Agent Marcus Pike, previews his character’s introduction to Lisbon thusly: “It’s definitely the kind of situation where she steps into a room and I’m like, ‘Who is that?!’ And it progresses from there. He definitely sees what he wants and goes after it.” And Lisbon’s own reaction to this dynamic new colleague? “I think he really catches her off guard, and that works to his advantage,” says Pascal. “He’s very smitten with her and she deserves the attention. Whether she’s interested or not, that is a good start to draw her in.”

I know Rebekah is gone from The Originals, but will we at least hear about her? Please tell me they’re not just going to pretend she doesn’t exist. —Anna
Keep an eye on your mailbox, Anna. “We’ll get the postcards from Kansas, and we’ll for sure see her again, God willing,” executive producer Julie Plec tells TVLine. “I don’t think it’s the last we’ve seen of Rebekah. It was just time for her to say goodbye and drive off into the proverbial sunset.” As for what you can expect from a Rebekah-less New Orleans, Plec says, “The absence of this sister from this family dynamic is going to make the brother dynamic even more fraught.” Wait, more fraught?

Now that Vampire Diaries‘ Damon and Elena have broken up, will Elena’s romantic feelings for Stefan come back in Season 6? Is there at least hope for them again? — Liza
While we can’t speak for Elena, we can speak for Stefan — especially after Paul Wesley explained the current state of Stelena to us. Though Wesley tells us that Stefan has “made peace” with Damon and Elena being friends with benefits, “There are always residual feelings with anyone that you’re ever with romantically.” IOW, if Elena ever decides Stefan’s the guy for her, he’ll be there.

We already know the shocking death on The Good Wife will enable reconciliation between Alicia and Diane. But what about Alicia and Kalinda? Any chance my favorite onscreen chemistry will be back? –Lucas
Having seen this coming Sunday’s episode, I can say this much: In the wake of the tragedy, Alicia is understandably taking no one’s phone calls (not even Peter’s). But the one call she makes, in the course of grasping for any sense behind what happened, is to Kalinda. So there’s that. The crux of the hour, meanwhile, revolves around a mystery Alicia tries to solve, upon listening to a voice message Will left her earlier that day.

Can we talk about the “something pretty massive” that Thea will learn next week on Arrow? Will it be about her true paternity, or Oliver’s secret? –Eric
If it’s the former – that Malcolm Merlyn is her pop — she certainly isn’t going to hear it from her momma. As Susanna Thompson said to me as they were filming the upcoming “Deathstroke” episode, “In my personal experience of who Moira is, Moira would keep that a secret at all costs. You should be OK with one box of tissues and one bottle of wine. "The Last Call" deals with not just Alicia's reaction, but how everybody connected to Will deals with his tragic death. The title deals with the last call Alicia got from Will and her quest to find out what he wanted to tell her. It's tragic, but there are a few laughs in there and some Kalinda/Alicia moments. It's going to be OK!

Premiere Dates: 'Defiance’ Season 2 Premiere and 'Dominion' Series Premiere

http://www.mun2.tv/sites/mundos/files/videos/images/defiance-promo-use.jpg

According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, the season 2 premiere of Defiance will air on the Syfy channel on Thursday, June 19 at 8 P.M./7 P.M. central. The series premiere of Dominion will follow the season premiere of Defiance at  9 P.M./8 P.M. central. Here's an excerpt from the original article, which gives some details on the upcoming series, Dominion, which is based on the 2010 film Legion.

Dominion — starring Christopher Egan (Kings), Tom Wisdom (300), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Alan Dale (Lost), Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Luke Allen-Gale (The Borgias) — is set 25 years in the future, after a war between an army of angels and mankind has transformed the world.

Link to the full article:Premiere Dates: ‘Defiance’ Season 2, Dominion, Petals on the Wind, In the Flesh - TVLine

My thoughts: I just recemtly got into watching Defiance now that the first season is out on DVD, and while I haven't watched the whole season yet, I've absolutely loved what I've seen so far. I'm tentatively planning on reviewing Defiance on a semi-regular to regular basis once season 2 starts since a lot of the shows that I usually like to write reviews for won't be airing new episodes at that time. If you haven't already watched Defiance before, I strongly recommend checking the show out. It really is a fantastic show with a phenomenal cast. As for Dominion, this is literally the first time that I've ever even heard of the show. I'm pretty sure that I've never heard of the movie Legion either, but the premise of the show sounds really interesting and it looks like the show has a great cast, so I'm definitely going to at the very least watch the series premiere of Dominion.

The Originals: Scoop on Klaus and Genevieve's relationship from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Originals from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Diehard ‘Klaroline’ shipper here. Please tell me Klaus and Genevieve are just messing around and that their relationship on The Originals won’t last. — KC
Ausiello: Fear not, KC. Joseph Morgan recently set the record straight on Klaus’ true feelings, or lack thereof, for the witch who revealed his sister’s betrayal. “They’re two extremely damaged people who share a sense of self-loathing and they take it out on each other — sometimes physically, sometimes aggressively,” he explained. “Ultimately, a relationship like that can be fun, but it’s doomed, I would say, from the start.”

The Vampire Diaries: Stefan and Caroline related scoop and scoop on season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Vampire Diaries from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I know it’s a little early to ask this, but anything you can give us on next season of The Vampire Diaries? — KS
Ausiello: Well, KS, before you ask what’s coming up in Season 6, you should probably ask which characters might not live long enough to see it. ”There are going to be a lot of goodbyes as we realize the other side is disintegrating,” executive producer Julie Plec tells TVLine. “Not everybody is going to survive that. We’re going to have to say goodbye to some characters that we’ve grown to love over the years. That’s what we’ll see when we get to the finale.”

Question: Any Vampire Diaries scoop? Especially something about Caroline? — Chery
Ausiello: If by “Caroline,” you mean “Stefan and Caroline,” I’ve got you covered, Chery. The fan-favorite characters are about to spend a lot more time together, including one particularly steamy scene that Plec was happy to tease for us: “They go on an adventure, there’s a train car and it’s cold outside. So what are a girl and a boy to do, but cuddle up for warmth?” What, indeed.

Question: Any chance we might see an NCIS episode featuring Gibbs and Tony undercover together? If not them, what about Tony taking McGee on his first undercover operation? —Julia

Glee: Scoop on the possibility of original cast members returning for the final season from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Glee from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any chance some original Glee castmembers will become regular cast again in final season? —Erika
Ausiello: Unlikely, but exec producer Ian Brennan teases that an idea was floated around the writers room last week that involved an “awesome first-season callback to bring somebody back… I can’t tell you what it was, but I went, ‘Whoa.’” Brennan is more forthcoming about this season’s final New York-centric arc. “From the very beginning, [Glee's] been a show about how everyone should follow their dreams,” he notes. “And we really wanted to finally play that out and say, ‘Okay, what actually happens when you do follow your dreams?’ And to see how different that is for everybody else and how long they stay in New York, if it keeps them there or whatever. It was interesting to finally have these characters as adults. So we’ll pay that [out] pretty satisfactorily, I would say.”

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Will we meet any new villains during True Blood‘s final season? —Tom
Ausiello: Funny you should ask. Last week, the show put out a casting call for the cryptic-sounding menace, “The Figure.” He’s described as “scary, hulking, ugly, mean and crafty… like Leatherface or Jason Voorhees, but this guy talks.” Curiously, this Figure dude will appear in the season premiere — an episode that (presumably) finished shooting more than two months ago.

The Tomorrow People: More scoop on the season 1 finale from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Tomorrow People from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m liking The Tomorrow People more and more, but its future isn’t looking too bright. Anything you can say to make me feel better about the odds of a second season? —Joseph
Ausiello: If the Season 1 finale turns out to be TTP‘s swan song, the show is going out with a bang… and a fair amount of nudity. According to exec producer Phil Klemmer, here’s a preview of what’s going down in the May 5 closer: “Someone will die. Someone will be stuck in limbo. The entire world might be ending or might not. [Robbie Amell] will be shirtless [and] will kick some very, very serious ass.Someone will lose his or her powers. A couple that we’ve never seen be intimate will become intimate. Someone will possibly lose their memory…. they’ll be turned into, like, a grotesque automaton version of their former selves.”

Game of Thrones: Theon related scoop on season 4 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Game of Thrones from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m very excited about Game of Thrones coming back. Do you have anything about any of the following people: Daenerys, Arya, Jon Snow or Theon? –Andrew
Ausiello: I’ll take “Theon” for $500, Andrew. The character now known as “Reek” is “not in a good place,” portrayer Alfie Allen tells TVLine. “I remember talking to [Thrones EPs] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] about what’s in store for me last season, next season, this season, and they were telling me that it’s a lot of mental stuff, rather than physical. Whether that’s better or worse, I guess you’ll just have to leave it up to the person who is watching it.” And as someone who’s watched the first few episodes, I feel confident weighing in: It’s worse. Waaaay worse.

Nashville: Will related scoop and scoop on the season 2 finale from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Nashville from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Love this season of Nashville and praying for Season 3, but I do not like the Rayna/Luke relationship. Is there a chance that this romance will finally end or at the very least have some conflict? —Shira
Ausiello: When Season 2 ends on May 14, the fate of several core relationships will hang in the balance, including Rayna and Luke. Meanwhile, much of the episode will focus on Rayna’s album release (hint: she’s pitted against Will). The best news? No cheesy car crashes!

Question: Nashville intel, please. –Rob
Ausiello: Chris Carmack tells TVLine that in addition to everything else going on in Will’s life – impromptu engagement, threat of everyone finding out he’s gay – “Layla thinks it might be a good idea for them to go on a reality show.” The actor adds: “Will is not fired up about the idea, but I won’t tell you if it goes yes or no.”

Whether he’ll be back after his five-episode stint (which begins this Sunday) is “all a question mark,” the actor says. “I don’t know how it’s being wrapped, if it’s being wrapped up or anything.”

The Good Wife: Scoop on the possibility of Alicia and Finn becoming a couple from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: The Good Wife isn’t going to push an Alicia-Finn romance on us, are they? —Carla
Ausiello: Maybe. Maybe not. “We’re not going there [yet],” responds exec producer Robert King when asked about the possibility of sexual tension between the two. ”A lot of what we do is watch the dailies and see what comes out. There is a lot of fun chemistry between Julianna [Margulies] and Matthew [Goode], but we can’t [address the potential for romance] until we react a little bit more to what’s being shot.”

Parenthood: Scoop on Jason Ritter's return in episode 5x19 "Fraud Alert" and scoop on Ryan's return from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Parenthood from this week's (Posted on 3/26/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Parenthood continues to impress me this season. Can you give us a teaser for the Season 5 finale? —Ben
Ausiello: As TVLine was first to report, Matt Lauria is back as Ryan in this season’s final two episodes and, per exec producer Jason Katims, when he sees Amber again “it’s over very, very dramatic circumstances and incorporates some of our other characters in a rich story. It’s a very complicated situation for Amber because, clearly, this is somebody that she has such incredibly strong feelings for and that doesn’t just go away. But on the other hand, there are lots of complications for them. We’ll see her grappling with the closeness that she feels with Ryan and the feeling that it’s important that they make a break from each other.”

Question: Very much looking forward to Jason Ritter’s Parenthood return this Thursday. Anything else you can tease? —Nick
Ausiello: Per Katims, his one-episode comeback “gets launched when Amber happens to run into him in the street, and it leads to Sarah seeing him again after a year has passed in both of their lives. It’s a moving story — and it’s just moving for me to literally see [Ritter and Lauren Graham] together on screen again. What I liked about the story is that the scenes between them play out in this very realistic way. They have such incredible chemistry together. … It also sets up for Sarah where she’s going the rest of the season.”

Question: Longtime reader, first time question. I’m a huge Scandal junkie and would love some scoop. —Kristen
Ausiello: This Thursday, we will meet the Grant teens, and the family dynamic is far from The Brady Bunch. “We had many happy years as a family, but they have been through a rocky road these last few years,” First Lady Bellamy Young previews. “You read ugly things about your parents in the paper and on the Internet, so yeah, we’ll meet them in a fraught moment. You can imagine teenagers in this situation and how they might react!” Of Lost alums Dylan Minnette and Madeline Carroll, Young raves, Scandal has “incredible, formidable actors who are so capable of carrying this complicated material” — and complicated it shall be. Notes the actress with a laugh, “It so humanizes Fitz and Mellie to see them try and parent! Nothing can undo you like your own teenagers.”

Julie Plec dishes, "I think it's fairly safe to say now after five years that Caroline has chemistry with everybody and so there's definitely some fun banter and some flirtation that she indulges on a small level because Enzo is a highly mischievous flirt, but I think it's really more just he gets a kick out of digging at her and poking at her. Make that two new lacrosse players, as boss Jeff Davis tells us "Mason is not on the team," a recent decision made by the writers. Still, Mason, Liam and Garrett "are younger characters who are brought in to complicate the lives of our main characters and they are really good!" But there's one newbie Davis is really excited about. "Dylan Sprayberry is probably the biggest of the younger characters, playing Liam, and Tyler [Posey] and Dylan [O'Brien] are in love with him," he gushes. "They have some really great scenes together, so I'm really hopeful that fans like him as much as we like him. He's such a good kid and he's a great actor."

HBO has already foreshadowed the royal wedding between King Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell this season, but fear not: These nuptials will be far more civilized than last year's traumatic Red Wedding. Unfortunately, we will not be seeing our badass Chinese princess anymore this season. However we will be reunited with another fan favorite that we have not seen in a while! Red, aka the most kickass Little Red Riding hood we've ever met, will be returning to our magical drama pretty soon. Fingers crossed we'll get a sweet best friends scene with her and Snow!

Glee: Quinn and Rachel related scoop on episode 5x13 "New Directions" from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Glee from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 3/24/14.

Katrina: The 100th episode of Glee was amazing because it felt just like something from the earlier seasons! What's coming up in part 2?
As we mentioned in our recap last week, we were really bummed that we did not get to see and Rachel/Quinn interactions, so we caught up with Lea Michele at the 100th episode celebration to find out if Faberry fans are in for a treat this Tuesday. "Well I don't know if Quinn and Rachel have a lot of scenes alone together, but we do go to a disco club together and Dianna [Agron] and I had so much fun. And then a couple times Ryan [Murphy] would say, 'Freestyle!' and I was like, 'Dianna, you had better do it with me!'" The Louder singer laughed. "So we have our little dance moments, but I don't think that Quinn and Rachel have any scenes together that I remember, but everything is really meshed up and starting to blend." We don't blame you, Lea—you lead quite the busy and fabulous life!

First, let's address this one: how has Det. Lance not caught on yet that his hooded friend is Oliver, who has dated both of his daughters? "Episode 19 pretty definitively answers that question as far as Lance is concerned and I think that the answer will surprise you," executive producer Marc Guggenheim teases, adding that a few more people will learn Oliver's secret by the end of season two.

Modern Family: Watch out, Claire! You’re just about one wrong move away from being featured on STFU, Parents (My thoughts on episode 5x17 “Other People’s Children”)

Whenever I look back on Modern Family’s fourth season, I can’t help but view it as being the show’s weakest season. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t completely hate season four. It’s just that while the first three seasons have numerous episodes that I feel like watching repeatedly, season four doesn’t have nearly as many episodes that I feel that way about. While I do think that season four is currently the weakest season of Modern Family, I’ll admit that I found that a fair amount of season four episodes had really grown on me when I watching the season again on DVD. Personally, I feel like season five has been a major improvement compared to season four. Much like the first three seasons, I’ve one again felt like watching a lot of the season five episodes that aired at this point repeatedly, and I feel fairly comfortable guessing that when season five has ended, this will be one of the episodes that I’ll feel like watching numerous times in the future.

I feel like this episode really demonstrates one of the things that I’ve always viewed as being one of the show’s greatest strengths, which would be the fact that the writers handle the ensemble nature of the show perfectly for the most part. It’s also my opinion that the cast of Modern Family is the perfect size. There’s enough characters that give the writers a lot of different combinations to work with when it comes to pairing characters up for storylines, but the cast doesn’t have so many series regulars that the actors/characters are constantly being neglected by the writers, which has always been my main complaint about Once Upon a Time. All of the storylines in this episode feature some really great combinations of characters, and all of the storylines were very funny and a lot of fun to watch.

One of the themes that was featured in several of the storylines was the fact that by the end of the episode it was made very clear that a lot of the characters were putting on some kind of act around other people in this episode. One of the storylines that revolved around that idea was the whole thing with Cameron, Mitchell, Alex and Manny all going to a local art gallery together to see a new art exhibit. Towards the beginning of the episode, Cameron revealed in a couch interview that since he doesn’t know all that much about art, he had some research on the artist whose work he believed was currently on display at the gallery. He did this so he could come across as knowing what he was talking about when they were all at the art gallery. Unfortunately for Cameron, the exhibit that he had done research on was only a temporary exhibit and was no longer on display, which prompted him to try his next idea for how to handle the situation: Touch a painting and get kicked out of the gallery.

Law & Order: SVU: Scoop on the future of the show from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Law & Order: SVU from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 3/21/14.

Geena: Hold up, Law & Order: SVU wasn't picked up by NBC yet? What the what!?
We know. So what's the hold up? We're told everyone is enjoying the show this year, so it's likely not contract turmoil..."Usually when you get that kind of contract turmoil it's because people aren't happy to begin with than whether or not you're signed on. If you want to be back, usually there's a way to work it out. If you're done, the negotiation becomes an excuse to leave. I don't want to mention any names," SVU executive producer Warren Leight said with a laugh. "Creatively everyone is very engaged this year and our sense is we're having a nice run and I think the actors are—I'm sure some of them will want a couple of more days off here and there—but in general, I think we'll be ready if and when a network exec makes an announcement."

We hate to burst your bubble but…no. In fact, if you thought Fiona was already at rock bottom, just you wait for Sunday's all-new episode. We're not going to spill everything, but let's just say that Fiona pulls a Frank—and to be honest, we really don't think that she is going to be able to redeem herself after this one.
